1 ULB ಯೇಸು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮಭರಿತನಾಗಿ ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ಹೊಳೆಯಿಂದ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದು ದೇವರಾತ್ಮನಿಂದ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ದಿವಸ BSB BSB: Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
2 ULB ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಸೈತಾನನಿಂದ ಶೋಧಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು. ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು ಏನನ್ನೂ ತಿನ್ನಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದು ಮುಗಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹಸಿವಾಯಿತು. BSB BSB: where for forty days He was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and when they had ended, He was hungry.
3 ULB ಆಗ ಸೈತಾನನು ಆತನಿಗೆ- <<ನೀನು ದೇವರ ಮಗನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಈ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು BSB BSB: The devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.”
4 ULB ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ, <<ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ತಿಂದ ಮಾತ್ರದಿಂದ ಬದುಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ>> ಎಂದು ಬರೆದದೆ ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: But Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone.’”
5 ULB ಬಳಿಕ ಸೈತಾನನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ, ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೋಕದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿ, BSB BSB: Then the devil led Him up to a high place and showed Him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world.
6 ULB <<ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನೂ ಇವುಗಳ ವೈಭವವನ್ನೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು; ಇದೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ, ಇದನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಬಂದವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; BSB BSB: “I will give You authority over all these kingdoms and all their glory,” he said. “For it has been relinquished to me, and I can give it to anyone I wish.
7 ULB ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದರೆ ಇದೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನದಾಗುವುದು>> ಎಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: So if You worship me, it will all be Yours.”
8 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು- <<<ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿ ಆತನೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನೇ ಸೇವಿಸಬೇಕು> ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಬರೆದದೆ>> ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: But Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.’”
9 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸೈತಾನನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಗೋಪುರದ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ- <<ನೀನು ದೇವರ ಮಗನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಕೆಳಕ್ಕೆ ಧುಮುಕು. BSB BSB: Then the devil led Him to Jerusalem and set Him on the pinnacle of the temple. “If You are the Son of God,” he said, “throw Yourself down from here.
10 ULB <ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ದೂತರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡುವನು; BSB BSB: For it is written: ‘He will command His angels concerning You to guard You carefully,
11 ULB ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾಲು ಕಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತಗಲದಂತೆ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು> ಎಂಬದಾಗಿ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: and they will lift You up in their hands, so that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.’”
12 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು- <<ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಬಾರದೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆ>> ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: But Jesus answered, “It also says, ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”
13 ULB ಹೀಗೆ ಸೈತಾನನು ನಾನಾ ವಿಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೋಧಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ, ತಕ್ಕ ಸಮಯ ಬರುವ ತನಕ ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು. BSB BSB: When the devil had finished every temptation, he left Him until an opportune time.
14 ULB ತರುವಾಯ ಯೇಸು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದವನಾಗಿ ಗಲಿಲಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿದನು; ಆತನ ಸುದ್ದಿಯು ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹರಡಿತು. BSB BSB: Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and the news about Him spread throughout the surrounding region.
15 ULB ಆತನು ಅವರ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು; ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳಿದರು. BSB BSB: He taught in their synagogues and was glorified by everyone.
17 ULB ಆಗ ಯೆಶಾಯನೆಂಬ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಬರೆದ ಗ್ರಂಥದ ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನು ಆತನ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿ ಆತನು ಆ ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿ ಓದಿದನು; ಆ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಸಂಗತಿಯೇನೆಂದರೆ- BSB BSB: the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. Unrolling it, He found the place where it was written:
18 ULB <<ಕರ್ತನ ಆತ್ಮವು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದೆ, ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಶುಭವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿರುವನು. ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕು, ಮತ್ತು ಕುರುಡರಿಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣು ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಹಿಂಸಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ BSB BSB: “The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. 19 ULB ಕರ್ತನು ನೇಮಿಸಿರುವ ಶುಭವರ್ಷವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಚಾರಪಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂಬುದೇ.>> BSB BSB: to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
20 ULB ಅದನ್ನು ಓದಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಆ ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದ ಸೇವಕನ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕೂಳಿತುಕೊಂಡನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರೆದ್ದಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳೂ ಆತನ ಮೇಲಿರಲಾಗಿ BSB BSB: Then He rolled up the scroll, returned it to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on Him,
21 ULB ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ- <<ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ವೇದೋಕ್ತಿ ನೆರವೇರಿದೆ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ BSB BSB: and He began by saying, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”
22 ULB ಎಲ್ಲರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳಿ ಆತನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವ ಇಂಪಾದ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು, <<ಇವನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮಗನಲ್ಲವೇ?>> ಎಂದು ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: All spoke well of Him and marveled at the gracious words that came from His lips. “Isn’t this the son of Joseph?” they asked.
23 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ- <<ವೈದ್ಯನೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀನೇ ವಾಸಿಮಾಡಿಕೋ>> ಎಂಬ ಗಾದೆಯನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ನಿಸ್ಸಂದೇಹವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿ; ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಅಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಾಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವಿರಿ. BSB BSB: Jesus said to them, “Surely you will quote this proverb to Me: ‘Physician, heal yourself! Do here in Your hometown what we have heard that You did in Capernaum.’”
24 ULB <<ಯಾವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಗಿಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. BSB BSB: Then He added, “Truly I tell you, no prophet is accepted in his hometown.
25 ULB ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಎಲೀಯನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ವರುಷ ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳು ಮಳೆಬಾರದೆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬರಗಾಲ ಉಂಟಾದಾಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಅನೇಕ ವಿಧವೆಯರು ಇದ್ದದ್ದು ನಿಜ; BSB BSB: But I tell you truthfully that there were many widows in Israel in the time of Elijah, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and great famine swept over all the land.
26 ULB ಆದರೆ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ದೇವರು ಎಲೀಯನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸದೆ ಸೀದೋನ್‍ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಸರೆಪ್ತ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ವಿಧವೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to the widow of Zarephath in Sidon.
27 ULB ಮತ್ತು ಎಲೀಷನೆಂಬ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಜನರೊಳಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಗಳು ಇದ್ದಾಗ್ಯೂ, ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗದೆ ಸಿರಿಯ ದೇಶದವನಾದ ನಾಮಾನನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಶುದ್ಧನಾದನು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet. Yet not one of them was cleansed—only Naaman the Syrian.”
28 ULB ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿರುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಸಿಟ್ಟುಗೊಂಡು ಎದ್ದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಊರಹೊರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಟ್ಟಿ BSB BSB: On hearing this, all the people in the synagogue were enraged.
29 ULB ತಮ್ಮ ಊರು ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಗುಡ್ಡದ ಕಡಿದಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ನಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಕೆಳಕ್ಕೆ ದೊಬ್ಬಿಬಿಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದರು BSB BSB: They got up, drove Him out of the town, and led Him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw Him over the cliff.
30 ULB ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಿಂದ ನಡೆದು ತನ್ನ ಪಾಡಿಗೆ ತಾನು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದನು. BSB BSB: But Jesus passed through the crowd and went on His way.
31 ULB ಬಳಿಕ ಆತನು ಘಟ್ಟಾ ಇಳಿದು ಗಲಿಲಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮೆಂಬ ಊರಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು. BSB BSB: Then He went down to Capernaum, a town in Galilee, and on the Sabbath He began to teach the people.
32 ULB ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‍ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉಪದೇಶಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರಲು ಆತನ ಮಾತು ಅಧಿಕಾರವುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಆತನ ಉಪದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಅತ್ಯಾಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು. BSB BSB: They were astonished at His teaching, because His message had authority.
33 ULB ಆ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ದೆವ್ವಹಿಡಿದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: In the synagogue there was a man possessed by the spirit of an unclean demon. He cried out in a loud voice,
34 ULB ಆ ದೆವ್ವವು- <<ನಜರೇತಿನ ಯೇಸುವೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ಗೊಡವೆ ನಿನಗೇಕೆ? ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೆಯಾ? ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆವು. ನೀನು ದೇವರ ಪರಿಶುದ್ದನೇ>> ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿತು. BSB BSB: “Ha! What do You want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”
35 ULB ಯೇಸು ಅದನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿ- <<ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರು, ಇವನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗು>> ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿ ಆ ದೆವ್ವವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರ ನಡುವೆ ಬೀಳಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಕೇಡನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡದೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಯಿತು. BSB BSB: But Jesus rebuked the demon. “Be silent!” He said. “Come out of him!” At this, the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without harming him.
36 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲರು ಬೆರಗಾಗಿ- <<ಇದೆಂಥ ಮಾತಾಗಿರಬಹುದು? ಈತನು ಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದಲೂ, ಬಲದಿಂದಲೂ ದೆವ್ವಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಅವು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುತ್ತವೆ>> ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: All the people were overcome with amazement and asked one another, “What is this message? With authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”
37 ULB ಮತ್ತು ಆತನ ಸುದ್ದಿಯು ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹರಡಿತು. BSB BSB: And the news about Jesus spread throughout the surrounding region.
38 ULB ಆತನು ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದಿಂದೆದ್ದು ಸೀಮೋನನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀಮೋನನ ಅತ್ತೆಯು ಕಠಿಣ ಜ್ವರದಿಂದ ಕಷ್ಟಪಡುತ್ತಿರಲಾಗಿ; ಆಕೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲಿದ್ದವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: After Jesus had left the synagogue, He went to the home of Simon, whose mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever. So they appealed to Jesus on her behalf,
39 ULB ಆತನು ಆಕೆಯ ಬಳಿ ನಿಂತು ಬಾಗಿ, ಜ್ವರವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗೆಂದು ಗದರಿಸಲು; ಅದು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಯಿತು. ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆಕೆಯು ಎದ್ದು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಉಪಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದಳು. BSB BSB: and He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And she got up at once and began to serve them.
40 ULB ಸಂಜೆಯಾದಂತೆ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ರೋಗಗಳಿಂದ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥವಾದವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆತನ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತರಲು; ಆತನು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಕೈಯಿಟ್ಟು ಅವರನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡಿದನು. BSB BSB: At sunset, all who were ill with various diseases were brought to Jesus, and laying His hands on each one, He healed them.
41 ULB ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಸಹ- ನೀನು ದೇವ ಕುಮಾರನು ಎಂದು ಅಬ್ಬರಿಸಿ ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋದವು. ಆತನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೆಂದು ದೆವ್ವಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡದಂತೆ ಗದರಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: Demons also came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But He rebuked the demons and would not allow them to speak, because they knew He was the Christ.
42 ULB ಬೆಳಗಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಹೊರಟು ಅಡವಿಯ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು; ಜನರು ಗುಂಪುಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಆತನಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು- ನೀನು, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗಬೇಡ ಎಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ತಡೆದರು. BSB BSB: At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place, and the crowds were looking for Him. They came to Him and tried to keep Him from leaving.
