1 ULB ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕರೆದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೆವ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿಕಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು BSB BSB: Then Jesus called the Twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and power to cure diseases.
2 ULB ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಸಾರುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರಾದವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.
3 ULB ಕಳುಹಿಸುವಾಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ- ದಾರಿಗೆ ಏನನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡುಹೋಗಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಕೋಲು, ಚೀಲ, ಬುತ್ತಿ, ಹಣ ಬೇಡ; ಎರಡಂಗಿಗಳಿರಬಾರದು. BSB BSB: “Take nothing for the journey,” He told them, “no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, no second tunic.
4 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀವು ಯಾವ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡಿರುವಿರೋ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಉಳಿಯಿರಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದಲೇ ಹೊರಡಿರಿ. BSB BSB: Whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave that area.

6 ULB ಆಗ ಅವರು ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರುತ್ತಾ ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: So they set out and went from village to village, preaching the gospel and healing people everywhere.
7 ULB ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಉಪರಾಜನಾದ ಹೆರೋದನು ನಡೆದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಳಿ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕಳವಳಪಡುವವನಾದನು. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಸತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಯೋಹಾನನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬದುಕಿಬಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಕೆಲವರೂ, ಎಲೀಯನು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನೆಂದು ಕೆಲವರೂ, BSB BSB: When Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was happening, he was perplexed. For some were saying that John had risen from the dead,

9 ULB ಆದರೆ ಹೆರೋದನು- ಯೋಹಾನನನ್ನು ನಾನೇ ಶಿರಚ್ಛೇಧನಮಾಡಿಸಿದೆನಷ್ಟೆ. ಹಾಗಿದ್ದಲಿ ಇವನಾರು? ಇವನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಕರವಾದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತೇನಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: “I beheaded John,” Herod said, “but who is this man I hear such things about?” And he kept trying to see Jesus.
10 ULB ಇತ್ತಲಾಗಿ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಾದ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದು ತಾವು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಲು, ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬೇತ್ಸಾಯಿದವೆಂಬ ಊರಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡುಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಡವಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಲು, BSB BSB: Then the apostles returned and reported to Jesus all that they had done. Taking them away privately, He withdrew to a town called Bethsaida.
11 ULB ಜನರ ಗುಂಪು ಇದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬರಲು ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತಾನಾಡಿ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: But the crowds found out and followed Him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and He healed those who needed healing.
12 ULB ಹೊತ್ತು ಕಳೆಯೂತ್ತಾ ಬರಲು. ಆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು- ಈ ಗುಂಪಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡು; ಇವರು ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಇಳಕೊಂಡು ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ; ನಾವು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೇವಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿ BSB BSB: As the day neared its end, the Twelve came to Jesus and said, “Dismiss the crowd so they can go to the surrounding villages and countryside for lodging and provisions. For we are in a desolate place here.”
13 ULB ಆತನು- ನೀವೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವರು- ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಎರಡು ಮೀನು ಹೊರತು ಹೆಚ್ಚೇನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ; ನಾವು ಹೋಗಿ ಈ ಜನರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡು ತರಬೇಕೋ? ಅಂದರು. BSB BSB: But Jesus told them, “You give them something to eat.” “We have only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered, “unless we go and buy food for all these people.”
14 ULB ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಗಂಡಸರೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಐದು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿಯಿದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ಯೇಸುವು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ- ಇವರನ್ನು ಒಂದೊಂದು ಪಂಕ್ತಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುಕಡಿಮೆ ಐವತ್ತೈವತ್ತರಂತೆ ಕೂಡ್ರಿಸಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು BSB BSB: (There were about five thousand men.) He told His disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.”
15 ULB ಅವರು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡ್ರಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: They did so, and everyone was seated.
16 ULB ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸುವು ಆ ಐದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಎರಡು ಮೀನುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೋಡಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಮುರಿದು ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು- ಇದನ್ನು ಜನರ ಗುಂಪಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, Jesus spoke a blessing and broke them. Then He gave them to the disciples to set before the people.
17 ULB ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಊಟಮಾಡಿ ತೃಪ್ತರಾದರು; ನಂತರ ಉಳಿದ ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಲಾಗಿ ಅವು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಪುಟ್ಟಿ ಆದವು. BSB BSB: They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
18 ULB ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಯೇಸುವು ಏಕಾಂತವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದರು. ಅನಂತರ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಜನರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಏನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು ಅವರು- BSB BSB: One day as Jesus was praying in private and the disciples were with Him, He questioned them: “Who do the crowds say I am?”
19 ULB ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ನಾನಿಕನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನನು ಎಂದೂ; ಕೆಲವರು ಎಲೀಯನು ಎಂದೂ; ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರು ಪೂರ್ವದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೋ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. BSB BSB: They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, that a prophet of old has arisen.”
20 ULB ಯೇಸು ಅವರನ್ನು- ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾರು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತೀರಿ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲಾಗಿ ಪೇತ್ರನು- ನೀನು ದೇವರಿಂದ ಬರಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: “But what about you?” Jesus asked. “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered, “The Christ of God.”
21 ULB ಆಗ ಯೇಸುವು- ಇದನ್ನು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಬೇಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಬಹು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು- BSB BSB: Jesus strictly warned them not to tell this to anyone.
22 ULB ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಬಹು ಕಷ್ಟಗಳನ್ನನುಭವಿಸಿ ಹಿರಿಯರಿಂದಲೂ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕರಿಂದಲೂ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಮೂರನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವಿತನಾಗಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: “The Son of Man must suffer many things,” He said. “He must be rejected by the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and He must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.”
23 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅತನು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ- ಯಾವನಿಗಾದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಶಿಲುಬೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಹೊತ್ತು ಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಬರಲಿ. BSB BSB: Then Jesus said to all of them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me.
24 ULB ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಳಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಳಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. BSB BSB: For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.
25 ULB ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಲೋಕವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ತನ್ನನ್ನೇ ತಾನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅಥವಾ ನಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವೇನು? BSB BSB: What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, yet lose or forfeit his very self?
26 ULB ಯಾವನು ನನಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೂ ನಾಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ತನಗೂ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದೂತರಿಗೂ ಇರುವ ಮಹಾಪ್ರಭಾವದೊಡನೆ ಬರುವಾಗ ಅವನ ಕುರಿತು ನಾಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. BSB BSB: If anyone is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.
27 ULB ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವವರೊಳಗೆ ಕೆಲವರು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವ ತನಕ ಮರಣಹೊಂದುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: But I tell you truly, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God.”
28 ULB ಯೇಸು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ಸುಮಾರು ಎಂಟು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪೇತ್ರ ಯೋಹಾನ ಯಾಕೋಬರನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದನು. BSB BSB: About eight days after Jesus had said these things, He took with Him Peter, John, and James, and went up on a mountain to pray.
29 ULB ಆತನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರಲಾಗಿ ಆತನ ಮುಖಭಾವವು ಬದಲಾಯಿತು. BSB BSB: And as He was praying, the appearance of His face changed, and His clothes became radiantly white.
30 ULB ಆತನ ಉಡುಪು ಬೆಳ್ಳಗಾಗಿ ಮಿಂಚುತ್ತಾ ಬಂತು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಪುರುಷರು ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು! ಅವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ ಮೋಶೆಯೂ ಎಲೀಯನೂ. BSB BSB: Suddenly two men, Moses and Elijah, began talking with Jesus.
31 ULB ಅವರು ವೈಭವದೊಡನೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು ಹೊಂದಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮರಣದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. BSB BSB: They appeared in glory and spoke about His departure, which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.
32 ULB ಇಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಪೇತ್ರನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದವರಿಗೂ ನಿದ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಮೈಭಾರವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಆತನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದ ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಪುರುಷರನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡರು. BSB BSB: Meanwhile Peter and his companions were overcome by sleep, but when they awoke, they saw Jesus’ glory and the two men standing with Him.
33 ULB ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ- ಗುರುವೇ ನಾವು ಇಲ್ಲೇ ಇರುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು, ಮೂರು ಗುಡಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವೆವು; ನಿನಗೊಂದು ಎಲೀಯನಿಗೊಂದು ಹಾಗೂ ಮೋಶೆಗೊಂದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ತಾನು ಏನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆನ್ನುವುದು ತನಗೇ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: As Moses and Elijah were leaving, Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters—one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” (He did not know what he was saying.)
34 ULB ಅವನು ಇದನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಡವು ಬಂದು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕವಿಯಿತು. ಮೋಡವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಅವರು ಹೆದರಿದರು. BSB BSB: While Peter was speaking, a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud.
35 ULB ಆಗ ಆ ಮೋಡದೊಳಗಿಂದ; “ಈತನು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನು. ನಾನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನು; ಈತನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ” ಎಂಬ ವಾಣಿ ಆಯಿತು. BSB BSB: And a voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is My Son, whom I have chosen. Listen to Him!”
36 ULB ಆ ವಾಣಿ ಆದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕಂಡರು. ತಾವು ಕಂಡ ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಸದೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದರು. BSB BSB: After the voice had spoken, only Jesus was present with them. The disciples kept this to themselves, and in those days they did not tell anyone what they had seen.
37 ULB ಮರುದಿವಸ ಅವರು ಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದಾಗ ಜನರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗುಂಪೊಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: The next day, when they came down from the mountain, Jesus was met by a large crowd.
38 ULB ಆಗ ಆ ಗುಂಪಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬನು- ಬೋಧಕನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸು ಎಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನನಗೆ ಇವನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಮಗನು. ಇವನನ್ನು ದೆವ್ವಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತದೆ, ಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತಲೇ ಕೂಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. BSB BSB: Suddenly a man in the crowd cried out, “Teacher, I beg You to look at my son, for he is my only child.
39 ULB ಅದು ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೊರೆ ಬರುವಷ್ಟು ಇವನನ್ನು ಒದ್ದಾಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಮತ್ತು ಬಹು ಕಷ್ಟಕೊಟ್ಟು ತೊಂದರೆಪಡಿಸಿದ ಹೊರತು ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: A spirit keeps seizing him, and he screams abruptly. It throws him into convulsions so that he foams at the mouth. It keeps mauling him and rarely departs from him.
40 ULB ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡೆನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರಿಂದ ಆಗದೆಹೋಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: I begged Your disciples to drive it out, but they were unable.”
41 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು- ಎಲಾ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದಂಥ ಮೂರ್ಖಸಂತಾನವೇ, ನಾನು ಇನ್ನೆಷ್ಟು ದಿನ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ? ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: “O unbelieving and perverse generation!” Jesus replied. “How long must I remain with you and put up with you? Bring your son here.”
42 ULB ಆ ಹುಡುಗನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲ್ಲೇ ಆ ದೆವ್ವವು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪ್ಪಳಿಸಿ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಒದ್ದಾಡಿಸಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಆ ದೆವ್ವವನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿ ಆ ಹುಡುಗನಿಗೆ ವಾಸಿಮಾಡಿ ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: Even while the boy was approaching, the demon slammed him to the ground in a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.
43 ULB ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಎಲ್ಲರು ದೇವರ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆರಗಾದರು. ಯೇಸು ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಡುತ್ತಿರಲಾಗಿ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ- BSB BSB: And they were all astonished at the greatness of God. While everyone was marveling at all that Jesus was doing, He said to His disciples,
44 ULB ನೀವಂತೂ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: “Let these words sink into your ears: The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men.”
45 ULB ಅವರು ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಯದೆಹೋದರು. ಆ ಮಾತಿನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂಜಿದರು. BSB BSB: But they did not understand this statement. It was veiled from them so that they could not comprehend it, and they were afraid to ask Him about it.
46 ULB ತರುವಾಯ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೊಳಗೆ- ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವನು ಎಂಬ ವಿಚಾರಹುಟ್ಟಿತು. BSB BSB: Then an argument started among the disciples as to which of them would be the greatest.
47 ULB ಯೇಸು ಅವರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದವನಾಗಿ, ಒಂದು ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗುವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ, BSB BSB: But Jesus, knowing the thoughts of their hearts, had a little child stand beside Him.
48 ULB ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಹಾಗಾಯಿತು; ಮತ್ತು ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಾತನನ್ನೇ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಹಾಗಾಯಿತು; ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನು ಚಿಕ್ಕವನೋ ಅವನೇ ದೊಡ್ಡವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: And He said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in My name welcomes Me, and whoever welcomes Me welcomes the One who sent Me. For whoever is the least among all of you, he is the greatest.”
49 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಹಾನನು- ಗುರುವೇ, ಯಾವನೋ ಒಬ್ಬನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ದೆವ್ವಬಿಡಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕಂಡು ಅವನು ನಮಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವನಲ್ಲವಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಿಮಾಡಿದೆವು ಅನ್ನಲು BSB BSB: “Master,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in Your name, and we tried to stop him, because he does not accompany us.”
50 ULB ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ- ಅಡ್ಡಿಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಲ್ಲದವನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದವನೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: “Do not stop him,” Jesus replied, “for whoever is not against you is for you.”
52 ULB ತನ್ನ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಇವರು ಹೊರಟು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದವರ ಒಂದು ಹಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. BSB BSB: He sent messengers on ahead, who went into a village of the Samaritans to make arrangements for Him.
53 ULB ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸುವು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವವನಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: But the people there refused to welcome Him, because He was heading for Jerusalem.
55 ULB ಯೇಸುವು ತಿರಿಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿ, ("ನೀವು ಎಂಥ ಆತ್ಮದವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದು. ನರಪುತ್ರನು ಬಂದಿರುವುದು ಮಾನವ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾದುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದನು") BSB BSB: But Jesus turned and rebuked them.
56 ULB ಅನಂತರ ಯೇಸು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಹೊರಟು ಬೇರೆ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು. BSB BSB: And He and His disciples went on to another village.
57 ULB ಅವರು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ- ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೇ ಹೋದರೂ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ- ನರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುದ್ದುಗಳಿವೆ, BSB BSB: As they were walking along the road, someone said to Jesus, “I will follow You wherever You go.”
58 ULB ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾರಾಡುವ ಹಕ್ಕಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗೂಡುಗಳಿವೆ; ಆದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನಿಗೆ ತಲೆಯಿಡುವಷ್ಟು ಸ್ಥಳವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.”
59 ULB ಯೇಸುವು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ- ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಅವನು- ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ಮೊದಲು ಹೋಗಿ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಉತ್ತರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಬರುವಂತೆ ನನಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: Then He said to another man, “Follow Me.” The man replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
60 ULB ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ- ಸತ್ತವರೇ ತಮ್ಮವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತುಹೋದವರ ಉತ್ತರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಿ, ನೀನಂತೂ ಹೋಗಿ ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: But Jesus told him, “Let the dead bury their own dead. You, however, go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”
61 ULB ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನು ಸಹ- ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಆದರೆ ಮೊದಲು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: Still another said, “I will follow You, Lord; but first let me bid farewell to my family.”
62 ULB ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ- ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನೇಗಿಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಅವನು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕವನಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: Then Jesus declared, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and then looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”
