2 ULB ಯೇಸು ದೋಣಿಯಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ದೆವ್ವ ಹಿಡಿದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ಗವಿಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: As soon as Jesus got out of the boat, He was met by a man with an unclean spirit, who was coming from the tombs.
3 ULB ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಗವಿಗಳೇ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅವನನ್ನು ಅನೇಕಸಾರಿ ಬೇಡಿಗಳಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಸರಪಣಿಗಳಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವನು ಸರಪಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತು ಬೇಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ತುಂಡುತುಂಡು ಮಾಡುಬಿಡುತಿದ್ದನು; ಅವನನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಯಾವ ಸರಪಣಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಕಟ್ಟಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದರು; ಅವನನ್ನು ಹತೋಟಿಗೆ ತರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರಿಂದಲೂ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: This man had been living in the tombs and could no longer be restrained, even with chains.
5 ULB ಅವನು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹಗಲು ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ಗವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಚೂಪಾದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಗಾಯಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: Night and day in the tombs and in the mountains he kept crying out and cutting himself with stones.
6 ULB ಅವನು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ದೂರದಿಂದ ಕಂಡು ಓಡಿಬಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು, BSB BSB: When the man saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees before Him.
7 ULB ಮಹಾಶಬ್ದದಿಂದ ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸಿ, <<ಯೇಸುವೇ, ಮಹೋನ್ನತನಾದ ದೇವರ ಮಗನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಗೊಡವೆ ನಿನಗೇಕೆ? ದೇವರಾಣೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸಬೇಡ ಎಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: And he shouted in a loud voice, “What do You want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You before God not to torture me!”
8 ULB ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೇಸು, <<ಅಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮವೇ ಇವನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗು>> ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: For Jesus had already declared, “Come out of this man, you unclean spirit!”
9 ULB ಯೇಸು, <<ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಏನೆಂದು>> ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು, <<ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ದಂಡು; ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾವು ಬಹು ಮಂದಿ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, BSB BSB: “What is your name?” Jesus asked. “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.”
10 ULB ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಈ ಪ್ರಾಂತದಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸಬೇಡ ಎಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡವು. BSB BSB: And he begged Jesus repeatedly not to send them out of that region.
11 ULB ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಗುಡ್ಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಂದಿಗಳ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹಿಂಡು ಮೇಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. BSB BSB: There on the nearby hillside a large herd of pigs was feeding.
12 ULB ಆ ಅಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮಗಳು, <<ಆ ಹಂದಿಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡು>> ಎಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡವು. BSB BSB: So the demons begged Jesus, “Send us to the pigs, so that we may enter them.”
13 ULB ಆತನು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಮತಿಸಲು ಆ ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹಂದಿಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದವು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುಕಡಿಮೆ ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಹಂದಿಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಆ ಹಂದಿಗಳು ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಇಳಿಜಾರು ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಸಮುದ್ರದೊಳಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗಿ ಉಸಿರು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಸತ್ತುಹೋದವು. BSB BSB: He gave them permission, and the unclean spirits came out and went into the pigs, and the herd of about two thousand rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the water.
14 ULB ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸುವವರು ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ನಡೆದಿರುವ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಆ ಊರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪಕ್ಕದ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಜನರು ನಡೆದ ಸಂಗತಿ ಏನೆಂದು ನೋಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟು ಯೇಸು ಇದ್ದಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. BSB BSB: Those tending the pigs ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened.
15 ULB ಆ ದೆವ್ವಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದವನು ಅಂದರೆ ದೆವ್ವಗಳ ದಂಡಿನಿಂದ ಬಂಧಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನು, ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಸುಬುದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ಕುಳಿತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಹೆದರಿದರು. BSB BSB: When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons sitting there, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
16 ULB ನಡೆದ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದವರು ಆ ದೆವ್ವಹಿಡಿದವನಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಹಂದಿಗಳ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: Those who had seen it described what had happened to the demon-possessed man and also to the pigs.
17 ULB ಆಗ ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಸೀಮೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: And the people began to beg Jesus to leave their region.
18 ULB ಆತನು ದೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತುವಾಗ ಆ ದೆವ್ವಗಳ ಬಂಧನದಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಹೊಂದಿದವನು, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇರುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿದನು. BSB BSB: As He was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed by the demons begged to go with Him.
19 ULB ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವನ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪದೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ, <<ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರುಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ನಿನಗೆ ಏನೇನು ಉಪಕಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೋ ಅದನ್ನು ಹೇಳು>> ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: But Jesus would not allow him. “Go home to your own people,” He said, “and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and what mercy He has shown you.”
20 ULB ಅವನು ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಯೇಸು ತನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಉಪಕಾರಗಳನ್ನು ದೆಕಪೊಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು; ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು. BSB BSB: So the man went away and began to proclaim throughout the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And everyone was amazed.
21 ULB ಯೇಸು ತಿರುಗಿ ದೋಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈಚೇದಡಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಜನರು ಬಹು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು; ಆತನು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ದಡದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: When Jesus had again crossed by boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered around Him beside the sea.
22 ULB ಆಗ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದ ಯಾಯಿರನೆಂಬವನು ಬಂದು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಆತನ ಪಾದಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು, BSB BSB: A synagogue leader named Jairus arrived, and seeing Jesus, he fell at His feet
23 ULB <<ನನ್ನ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಮಗಳು ಈಗ ಸಾವಿನ ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಳೆ; ಆಕೆಯು ಗುಣಹೊಂದಿ ಬದುಕುವಂತೆ ದಯಮಾಡಿ ನೀನು ಬಂದು ಆಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಡಬೇಕು>> ಎಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. BSB BSB: and pleaded with Him urgently, “My little daughter is near death. Please come and place Your hands on her, so that she will be healed and live.”
24 ULB ಯೇಸುವು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋದನು; ಮತ್ತು ಬಹು ಜನರು ಆತನನ್ನು ನೂಕುತ್ತಾ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: So Jesus went with him, and a large crowd followed and pressed around Him.
25 ULB ಆಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ವರುಷದಿಂದ ರಕ್ತಕುಸುಮ ರೋಗವಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಹೆಂಗಸು ಇದ್ದಳು. BSB BSB: And a woman was there who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years.
26 ULB ಅನೇಕ ವೈದ್ಯರ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯು ಬಹು ಕಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿ, ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಹಣವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ವ್ಯಯಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವಳ ರೋಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿತ್ತೇ ಹೊರತು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವೂ ಗುಣಮುಖ ಆಗುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: She had borne much agony under the care of many physicians and had spent all she had, but to no avail. Instead, her condition had only grown worse.
29 ULB ಮುಟ್ಟಿದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆಕೆಯ ರಕ್ತಸ್ರಾವವು ನಿಂತುಹೋದುದರಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಡಿದ ರೋಗವು ಹೋಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಗುಣವಾಯಿತು ಎಂದು ತನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಳು. BSB BSB: Immediately her bleeding stopped, and she sensed in her body that she was healed of her affliction.
30 ULB ಆ ಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನಿಂದ ಶಕ್ತಿಯು ಹೊರಟಿತೆಂದು ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಗುಂಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ, <<ನನ್ನ ಉಡುಪನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದವರು ಯಾರು?>> ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು BSB BSB: At once Jesus was aware that power had gone out from Him. Turning to the crowd, He asked, “Who touched My garments?”
31 ULB ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನಿಗೆ, <<ನಿನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಜನರು ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ನೂಕುವುದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದೇ ಇದೆ. ಆದರೂ <ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದವರು ಯಾರು> ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುತ್ತೀಯಲ್ಲಾ?>> ಎಂದರು. BSB BSB: His disciples answered, “You can see the crowd pressing in on You, and yet You ask, ‘Who touched Me?’”
32 ULB ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಈ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸುತ್ತಲು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಇರಲಾಗಿ, BSB BSB: But He kept looking around to see who had done this.
33 ULB ಆ ಮಹಿಳೆ ತನಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ, ಭಯದಿಂದ ನಡುಗುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ನಡೆದ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಿಳಿಸಿದಳು. BSB BSB: Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him trembling in fear, and she told Him the whole truth.
34 ULB ಆತನು ಆಕೆಗೆ, <<ಮಗಳೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿತು; ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ಹೋಗು; ನಿನ್ನ ರೋಗದಿಂದ ನೀನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಳಾಗಿರುವೆ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: “Daughter,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be free of your affliction.”
35 ULB ಆತನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯ ಕಡೆಯವರು ಬಂದು, <<ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗಳು ತೀರಿಹೋದಳು; ಇನ್ನೇಕೆ ಗುರುವಿಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆ ಕೊಡುವಿ?>> ಅಂದರು. BSB BSB: While He was still speaking, messengers from the house of Jairus arrived and said, “Your daughter is dead; why bother the Teacher anymore?”
36 ULB ಅವರು ಆಡಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಯೇಸು ಗಣನೆಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗೆ, <<ಅಂಜಬೇಡ, ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಇರಲಿ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: But Jesus overheard their conversation and said to Jairus, “Do not be afraid; just believe.”
37 ULB ಮತ್ತು ಆತನು ಪೇತ್ರ, ಯಾಕೋಬ, ಮತ್ತು ಯಾಕೋಬನ ತಮ್ಮನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನ ಇವರನ್ನೇ ಹೊರತು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಮತಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: And He did not allow anyone to accompany Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James.
38 ULB ಅವರು ಆ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರ ಗದ್ದಲವನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವರು ಅಳುವುದನ್ನೂ ಗೋಳಾಡುವುದನ್ನೂ ಆತನು ಕಂಡನು. BSB BSB: When they arrived at the house of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw the commotion and the people weeping and wailing loudly.
39 ULB ಆತನು ಒಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ, <<ನೀವು ಗದ್ದಲ ಮಾಡುವುದೂ ಅಳುವುದೂ ಯಾಕೆ? ಹುಡುಗಿ ಸತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವಳು ನಿದ್ದೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ>> ಅನ್ನಲು, BSB BSB: He went inside and asked, “Why all this commotion and weeping? The child is not dead, but asleep.”
40 ULB ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಹೊರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಆ ಹುಡುಗಿಯ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದವರನ್ನೂ ಹುಡುಗಿಯಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ, BSB BSB: And they laughed at Him. After He had put them all outside, He took the child’s father and mother and His own companions, and went in to see the child.
42 ULB ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆ ಹುಡುಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ನಡೆದಾಡಿದಳು; ಆಕೆಯು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ವರುಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವಳು. BSB BSB: Immediately the girl got up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). And at once they were utterly astounded.
43 ULB ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಹಳ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬೆರಗಾದರು. ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, ಇದು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯಬಾರದೆಂದು ಕಟ್ಟಪ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆ ಹುಡುಗಿಗೆ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಲು ಏನಾದರೂ ಕೊಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: Then Jesus gave strict orders that no one should know about this, and He told them to give her something to eat.
