1 ULB ಯೇಸು ಪುನಃ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಸಾಮ್ಯರೂಪವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, BSB BSB: Once again, Jesus spoke to them in parables:
2 ULB <<ಪರಲೋಕ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನ ಮದುವೆಯ ಔತಣವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. BSB BSB: “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son.
3 ULB ಅವನು ಮದುವೆಗೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದವರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಆಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು, ಆದರೆ ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: He sent his servants to call those he had invited to the banquet, but they refused to come.
4 ULB ಅರಸನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬೇರೆ ಆಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಕರೆದು, <ನೀವು ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿತರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಇಗೋ, ಔತಣ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ; ನನ್ನ ಎತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದ ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಧಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ; ಮದುವೆಯ ಔತಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ> ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿರೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: Again, he sent other servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and fattened cattle have been killed, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’
5 ULB ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಆಹ್ವಾನವನ್ನು ಅಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಮಾಡಿ, ಒಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ಹೊಲಕ್ಕೆ ಒಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು; BSB BSB: But they paid no attention and went away, one to his field, another to his business.
6 ULB ಉಳಿದವರು ಅವನ ಆಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಅವಮಾನಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿದರು. BSB BSB: The rest seized his servants, mistreated them, and killed them.
7 ULB ಅರಸನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ಸಿಟ್ಟುಗೊಂಡು, ತನ್ನ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಆ ಕೊಲೆಗಾರರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: The king was enraged, and he sent his troops to destroy those murderers and burn their city.
8 ULB ಆಗ ತನ್ನ ಆಳುಗಳಿಗೆ, <ಮದುವೆಯ ಔತಣವು ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ ಸರಿ, ಆದರೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿತರು ಯೋಗ್ಯರಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited were not worthy.
9 ULB ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಈಗ ಮುಖ್ಯರಸ್ತೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಕಂಡ ಕಂಡವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮದುವೆಯ ಔತಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆಯಿರಿ> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: Go therefore to the crossroads and invite to the banquet as many as you can find.’
10 ULB ಆ ಆಳುಗಳು ಮುಖ್ಯರಸ್ತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರೆನ್ನದೇ ಕಂಡವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಮದುವೆಯ ಮಂಟಪವು ಜನರಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಹೋಯಿತು. BSB BSB: So the servants went out into the streets and gathered everyone they could find, both evil and good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
11 ULB ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನು ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಒಳಗೆ ಬಂದನು, ಮದುವೆಯ ಔತಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅರಸನು, BSB BSB: But when the king came in to see the guests, he spotted a man who was not dressed in wedding clothes.
12 ULB ಅವನಿಗೆ <ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನೇ, ಮದುವೆಯ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀನಿಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಒಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೆ?> ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಅವನು ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: ‘Friend,’ he asked, ‘how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ But the man was speechless.
13 ULB ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ, <ಅವನ ಕೈಕಾಲು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲೆಗೆ ನೂಕಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಳಾಟವೂ ಕಟಕಟನೆ ಹಲ್ಲು ಕಡಿಯೋಣವೂ ಇರುವವು.> BSB BSB: Then the king told the servants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
14 ULB ಹೀಗೆ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಬಹು ಜನ, ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಜನ>> ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: For many are called, but few are chosen.”
15 ULB ಅನಂತರ ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಹೊರಟು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಮಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಸೋಣ ಎಂದು ಕೂಡಿ ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು BSB BSB: Then the Pharisees went out and conspired to trap Jesus in His words.
16 ULB ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹೆರೋದ್ಯರ ಜೊತೆಮಾಡಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು. ಇವರು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ, <<ಗುರುವೇ, ನೀನು ಸತ್ಯವಂತನು, ದೇವರ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಬೋಧಿಸುವವನು, ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಹೆದರದವನು; ನೀನು ಜನರ ದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವವನಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಬಲ್ಲೆವು. BSB BSB: They sent their disciples to Him along with the Herodians. “Teacher,” they said, “we know that You are honest and that You teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You seek favor from no one, because You pay no attention to external appearance.
17 ULB ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಕೈಸರನಿಗೆ ಸುಂಕ ಕೊಡುವುದು ನಿಯಮ ಬದ್ಧವೋ? ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ತೋರುತ್ತದೆ? ನಮಗೆ ಹೇಳು>> ಅಂದರು. BSB BSB: So tell us what You think: Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”
18 ULB ಯೇಸು ಅವರ ಕೆಡುಕನ್ನು ಅರಿತುಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ, <<ಕಪಟಿಗಳೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ? BSB BSB: But Jesus knew their evil intent and said, “You hypocrites, why are you testing Me?
19 ULB ಸುಂಕಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡುವ ನಾಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿರಿ>> ಅನ್ನಲು ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ನಾಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಂದು ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. BSB BSB: Show Me the coin used for the tax.” And they brought Him a denarius.
20 ULB ಆತನು, <<ಈ ಸ್ವರೂಪವು ಈ ಮುದ್ರೆಯೂ ಯಾರದು?>> ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ BSB BSB: “Whose image is this,” He asked, “and whose inscription?”
21 ULB ಅವರು, <<ಕೈಸರನದು>> ಅಂದರು. ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, <<ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಕೈಸರನದನ್ನು ಕೈಸರನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಿರಿ; ದೇವರದನ್ನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಿರಿ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: “Caesar’s,” they answered. So Jesus told them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”
22 ULB ಅವರು ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋದರು. BSB BSB: And when they heard this, they were amazed. So they left Him and went away.
24 ULB ಇವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ, <<ಬೋಧಕನೇ, <ಒಬ್ಬನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸತ್ತರೆ ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಅವನ ತಮ್ಮನು ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣನಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮೋಶೆಯು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.> BSB BSB: “Teacher,” they said, “Moses declared that if a man dies without having children, his brother is to marry the widow and raise up offspring for him.
25 ULB ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಏಳು ಮಂದಿ ಸಹೋದರರಿದ್ದರು. ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನು ಮದುವೆ ಆಗಿ ತೀರಿಹೋದನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ತಮ್ಮನಿಗೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟನು; BSB BSB: Now there were seven brothers among us. The first one married and died without having children. So he left his wife to his brother.
26 ULB ಅದರಂತೆ ಎರಡನೆಯವನೂ ಮೂರನೆಯವನೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಏಳನೆಯವನ ವರೆಗೂ ಮಾಡಿದರು. BSB BSB: The same thing happened to the second and third brothers, down to the seventh.
27 ULB ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಸತ್ತ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ಹೆಂಗಸೂ ಸತ್ತಳು. BSB BSB: And last of all, the woman died.
28 ULB ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆ ಆ ಏಳು ಮಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿರುವಳು? ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲಾ>> ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: In the resurrection, then, whose wife will she be of the seven? For all of them were married to her.”
29 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ, <<ನೀವು ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನಾದರೂ ದೇವರ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ತಪ್ಪು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೀರಿ; BSB BSB: Jesus answered, “You are mistaken because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.
30 ULB ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡುವುದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವದೂತರಂತೆ ಅವರು ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ. BSB BSB: In the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage. Instead, they will be like the angels in heaven.
31 ULB ಸತ್ತವರ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದರೆ, BSB BSB: But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what God said to you:
33 ULB ಜನರ ಗುಂಪು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಆತನ ಬೋಧನೆಗೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು. BSB BSB: When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at His teaching.
34 ULB ಯೇಸು ಸದ್ದುಕಾಯರನ್ನು ಸದ್ದಿಲ್ಲದವರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಕೇಳಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಬಂದರು. BSB BSB: And when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they themselves gathered together.
35 ULB ಅವರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು, BSB BSB: One of them, an expert in the law, tested Him with a question:
36 ULB <<ಗುರುವೇ, ಧರ್ಮನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು>> ಎಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ BSB BSB: “Teacher, which commandment is the greatest in the Law?”
37 ULB ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ,<< <ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಾಣದಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕು> BSB BSB: Jesus declared, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
38 ULB ಎಂಬ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯೇ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು ಮತ್ತು ಮೊದಲನೆಯದು. BSB BSB: This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 ULB ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಯಾವುದೆಂದರೆ, <ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನಂತೆಯೇ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕು> ಎಂಬುದೇ. BSB BSB: And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
40 ULB ಈ ಎರಡು ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಧರ್ಮನಿಯಮವೂ ಪ್ರವಾದನಾಗ್ರಂಥಗಳೂ ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿವೆ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
41 ULB ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಕೂಡಿಬಂದಿರಲಾಗಿ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, BSB BSB: While the Pharisees were assembled, Jesus questioned them:
42 ULB <<ಬರಬೇಕಾದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ತೋರುತ್ತದೆ? ಆತನು ಯಾರ ಮಗನು?>> ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ BSB BSB: “What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is He?” “David’s,” they answered.
43 ULB ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ, <<ದಾವೀದನ ಮಗನು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು, <<ಹಾಗಾದರೆ, ದಾವೀದನೇ, ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನು ಎಂದು ಕರೆದಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲಾ, ಅದು ಹೇಗೆ? BSB BSB: Jesus said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord’? For he says:
44 ULB << <ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಹಾಕುವ ತನಕ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡಿರು> ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಿಗೆ ನುಡಿದನು. BSB BSB: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet.”’
45 ULB ಈ ಮಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದಾವೀದನೇ ಆತನನ್ನು <ಕರ್ತನೆಂದು> ಕರೆದಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಗನಾಗುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ?>> ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: So if David calls Him ‘Lord,’ how can He be David’s son?”
46 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಯಾರೂ ಒಂದು ಮಾತನ್ನಾದರೂ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದರು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಆತನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಲು ಯಾರೂ ಧೈರ್ಯಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: No one was able to answer a word, and from that day on no one dared to question Him any further.
