1 ULB ಚಿಯೋನ್ ನಗರವೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇನಾವ್ಯೂಹಗಳನ್ನು ಈಗ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸು. ಆಹಾ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ನಮಗೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯ ಕೆನ್ನೆಗೆ ಕೋಲಿನಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆಯುವರು. BSB BSB: Now, O daughter of troops, mobilize your troops; for a siege is laid against us! With a rod they will strike the cheek of the judge of Israel.
3 ULB ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಪ್ರಸವವೇದನೆ ಪಡತಕ್ಕವಳು ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆರುವವರೆಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ಶತ್ರುವಶವಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅನಂತರ ಆ ಮಗನ ಸಹೋದರರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವರು BSB BSB: Therefore Israel will be abandoned until she who is in labor has given birth; then the rest of His brothers will return to the children of Israel.
4 ULB ಆತನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಬಲವನ್ನೂ, ತನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹೊಂದಿದವನಾಗಿ ನಿಂತು ತನ್ನ ಹಿಂಡನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸುವನು. ಆ ಹಿಂಡು ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವುದು. ಆತನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಪ್ರಬಲನಾಗಿರುವನು. BSB BSB: He will stand and shepherd His flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majestic name of the LORD His God. And they will dwell securely, for then His greatness will extend to the ends of the earth.
5 ULB ಆತನೇ ನಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನಪ್ರದನು. ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್ಯರು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನುಗ್ಗಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಅರಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತುಳಿದುಹಾಕುವಾಗ, ನಾವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಏಳು ಪಾಲಕರನ್ನು ಹೌದು ಎಂಟು ಪುರುಷಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸುವೆವು. BSB BSB: And He will be our peace when Assyria invades our land and tramples our citadels. We will raise against it seven shepherds, even eight leaders of men.

BSB BSB: And they will rule the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod with the blade drawn. So He will deliver us when Assyria invades our land and marches into our borders.
7 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನ ವರವಾದ ಇಬ್ಬನಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಹುಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಯಿಸುವ ಹದಮಳೆಗಳೂ ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾನವರ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುವವು, ಮಾನವರ ನೆರವನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸದೆ ಹಿತಕರವಾಗಿರುವವೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ಜನಶೇಷವು ಬಹು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿತಕರವಾಗಿರುವುದು. BSB BSB: Then the remnant of Jacob will be in the midst of many peoples like dew from the LORD, like showers on the grass, which do not wait for man or linger for mankind.
8 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಿಂಹವು ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳನ್ನು, ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸಿಂಹವು ಕುರಿಹಿಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವಾಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾರದಂತೆ ತುಳಿದು, ಸೀಳಿಹಾಕುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ಜನಶೇಷವು ದೇಶದೇಶಗಳ, ಬಹು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಶಕರವಾಗಿರುವರು. BSB BSB: Then the remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among flocks of sheep, which tramples and tears as it passes through, with no one to rescue them.
9 ULB ಯಾಕೋಬೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈ ನಿನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಎತ್ತಲ್ಪಡಲಿ. ನಿನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲವಾಗಲಿ. BSB BSB: Your hand will be lifted over your foes, and all your enemies will be cut off.
10 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, <<ಆ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಡಿದುಬಿಡುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನ ರಥಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಗೊಳಿಸುವೆನು. BSB BSB: “In that day,” declares the LORD, “I will remove your horses from among you and wreck your chariots.
11 ULB ನಿನ್ನ ದೇಶದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಡವಿಹಾಕುವೆನು. BSB BSB: I will remove the cities of your land and tear down all your strongholds.
12 ULB ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಂತ್ರತಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಣಿಯವರು ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: I will cut the sorceries from your hand, and you will have no fortune-tellers.
13 ULB ನಿನ್ನ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು, ಕಲ್ಲುಕಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಒಡೆದುಹಾಕುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈರೂಪಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಇನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸದಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆ. BSB BSB: I will also cut off the carved images and sacred pillars from among you, so that you will no longer bow down to the work of your own hands.
14 ULB ನಿನ್ನ ಅಶೇರವೆಂಬ ವಿಗ್ರಹಸ್ತಂಭಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಿತ್ತುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ನಿನ್ನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲಮಾಡುವೆನು. BSB BSB: I will root out the Asherah poles from your midst and demolish your cities.
15 ULB ಅವಿಧೇಯ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಗ್ರಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುವೆನು.>> BSB BSB: I will take vengeance in anger and wrath upon the nations that have not obeyed Me.”
