3 ULB ನನ್ನ ಜೀವಮಾನವು ಹೊಗೆಯಂತೆ ಮಾಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳು ಕೊಳ್ಳಿಯಂತೆ ಸುಟ್ಟುಹೋಗುತ್ತವೆ. BSB BSB: For my days vanish like smoke, and my bones burn like glowing embers.
4 ULB ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಬಿಸಿಲಿನಿಂದ ಬಾಡಿಹೋದ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನಂತಿದೆ; ಊಟವನ್ನು ಮರೆತೆನು. BSB BSB: My heart is afflicted, and withered like grass; I even forget to eat my bread.
5 ULB ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲುಬು, ತೊಗಲು ಮಾತ್ರ ಉಳಿದಿರುತ್ತವೆ. BSB BSB: Through my loud groaning my skin hangs on my bones.
6 ULB ಅಡವಿಯ ಬಕಪಕ್ಷಿಯಂತಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಹಾಳೂರಿನ ಗೂಬೆಯಂತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. BSB BSB: I am like a desert owl, like an owl among the ruins.
7 ULB ನಿದ್ರೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿ ಮನೆಮಾಳಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ, ಒಂಟಿಯಾದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಯಂತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. BSB BSB: I lie awake; I am like a lone bird on a housetop.
8 ULB ವೈರಿಗಳು ಹಗಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಾವೇಶವುಳ್ಳವರು ಯಾರನ್ನಾದರೂ ಶಪಿಸುವಾಗ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಾಂತಮಾಡಿ ಶಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. BSB BSB: All day long my enemies taunt me; they ridicule me and curse me.
9 ULB ಬೂದಿಯೇ ನನಗೆ ಆಹಾರವಾಯಿತು; ನನ್ನ ಪಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಮಿಶ್ರವಾಯಿತು. BSB BSB: For I have eaten ashes like bread and mixed my drink with tears
10 ULB ಇದಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪ, ರೌದ್ರಗಳೇ ಕಾರಣ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಒಗೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಿಯಲ್ಲಾ! BSB BSB: because of Your indignation and wrath, for You have picked me up and cast me aside.
11 ULB ನನ್ನ ಜೀವಮಾನವು ಸಂಜೆಯ ನೆರಳಿನಂತಿದೆ; ನಾನು ಬಾಡಿಹೋದ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನಂತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. BSB BSB: My days are like lengthening shadows, and I wither away like grass.
12 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನಾದರೋ ಸದಾ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಾರೂಢನಾಗಿರುವಿ; ನಿನ್ನ ನಾಮವು ತಲತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವುದು. BSB BSB: But You, O LORD, sit enthroned forever; Your renown endures to all generations.
13 ULB ನೀನು ಎದ್ದು ಚೀಯೋನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸುವಿ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೃಪೆತೋರಿಸುವ ಸಮಯ ಇದೇ; ನಿಯಮಿತ ಕಾಲವು ಬಂದಿದೆ. BSB BSB: You will rise up and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show her favor—the appointed time has come.

18 ULB ಇದು ಮುಂದಣ ಸಂತಾನದವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಶಾಸನವಾಗಿರಲಿ, ಮುಂದೆ ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ಪ್ರಜೆಯು ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತಾ, BSB BSB: Let this be written for the generation to come, so that a people not yet created may praise the LORD.

21 ULB ಅವರು ಚೀಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ವರ್ಣಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡುವಂತೆಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: that they may proclaim the name of the LORD in Zion and praise Him in Jerusalem,
22 ULB ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೂ, ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳೂ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದು ಇವರೊಡನೆ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುತ್ತವೆ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದು. BSB BSB: when peoples and kingdoms assemble to serve the LORD.
23 ULB ಆತನು ಯೌವನಪ್ರಾಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಬಲವನ್ನು ಕುಂದಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; BSB BSB: He has broken my strength on the way; He has cut short my days.
24 ULB ನನ್ನ ಆಯುಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ, <<ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ಅರ್ಧಾಯುಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒಯ್ಯಬೇಡ; ನಿನ್ನ ವರ್ಷಗಳು ತಲತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ. BSB BSB: I say: “O my God, do not take me in the midst of my days! Your years go on through all generations.
26 ULB ಅವು ನಾಶವಾಗುವವು; ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುತ್ತಿ. ಅವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ವಸ್ತ್ರದಂತೆ ಹಳೆಯದಾಗುವವು. ಉಡುಪಿನಂತೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬದಲಿಸುತ್ತಿ; ಅವು ಮಾರ್ಪಡುವವು. BSB BSB: They will perish, but You remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing You will change them, and they will be passed on.
27 ULB ನೀನಾದರೋ ಏಕರೀತಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತಿ; ನಿನ್ನ ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಮುಗಿದುಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: But You remain the same, and Your years will never end.
28 ULB ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಬಾಳುವರು. ಅವರ ಸಂತತಿಯವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರುವರು>> ಎಂದು ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. BSB BSB: The children of Your servants will dwell securely, and their descendants will be established before You.”
