Psalm 106 (ULB)

1ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ! ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ. ಆತನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು. ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವುದು.Hallelujah! Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.

2ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾರು ವರ್ಣಿಸಬಲ್ಲರು? ಆತನನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಕೀರ್ತಿಸುವುದು ಯಾರಿಂದಾದೀತು?Who can describe the mighty acts of the LORD or fully proclaim His praise?

3ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವವರೂ, ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸುವವರೂ ಧನ್ಯರು.Blessed are those who uphold justice, who practice righteousness at all times.

4ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೆನಪುಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುವ ದಯೆಯನ್ನು ನನಗೂ ತೋರಿಸು. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾ,Remember me, O LORD, in Your favor to Your people; visit me with Your salvation,

5ಆಗ ನೀನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಪ್ರಜೆಯ ಏಳಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, ನಾನೂ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುವೆನು; ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಕೀಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಾನೂ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವೆನು.that I may see the prosperity of Your chosen ones, and rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, and give glory with Your inheritance.

6ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಂತೆ ನಾವೂ ಪಾಪಿಗಳು; ಅಪರಾಧಮಾಡಿದೆವು; ದುಷ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದೆವು.We have sinned like our fathers; we have done wrong and acted wickedly.

7ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಅದ್ಭುತಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃಪಾತಿಶಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದರು.Our fathers in Egypt did not grasp Your wonders or remember Your abundant kindness; but they rebelled by the sea, there at the Red Sea.

8ಆದರೂ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ, ತನ್ನ ಶೌರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.Yet He saved them for the sake of His name, to make His power known.

9ಆತನು ಗದರಿಸಲು ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರವು ಒಣಗಿಹೋಯಿತು; ಅಡವಿಯನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಸಾಗರವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿಸಿದನು.He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up; He led them through the depths as through a desert.

10ಹಗೆಗಳ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು; ವೈರಿಯ ಹಸ್ತದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು.He saved them from the hand that hated them; He redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

11ಜಲರಾಶಿಯು ಅವರ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು; ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಉಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.The waters covered their foes; not one of them remained.

12ಆಗ ಅವರು ಆತನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನಂಬಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಿದರು.Then they believed His promises and sang His praise.

13ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಬೇಗನೆ ಆತನ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆತು, ಆತನ ನಡೆಸುವಿಕೆಗೆ ಕಾದಿರದೆ,Yet they soon forgot His works and failed to wait for His counsel.

14ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿ ಆಶೆಗೊಂಡವರಾಗಿ, ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.They craved intensely in the wilderness and tested God in the desert.

15ಆತನು ಅವರ ಆಶೆಯನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಿದರೂ, ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ಷಯವನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು.So He granted their request, but sent a wasting disease upon them.

16ಅವರು ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿದ ಆರೋನನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಕಿಚ್ಚುಪಡಲು,In the camp they envied Moses, as well as Aaron, the holy one of the LORD.

17ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಾಯ್ದೆರೆದು ದಾತಾನನನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು; ಅಬಿರಾಮನ ಕಡೆಯವರನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು.The earth opened up and swallowed Dathan; it covered the assembly of Abiram.

18ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯುಂಟಾಯಿತು; ಅಗ್ನಿಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು.Then fire blazed through their company; flames consumed the wicked.

19ಹೋರೇಬಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಕದ ಬಸವನನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದರು.At Horeb they made a calf and worshiped a molten image.

20ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ದಿವ್ಯಮಹಿಮೆಯ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಹುಲ್ಲು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಎತ್ತಿನ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡರು.They exchanged their Glory for the image of a grass-eating ox.

21ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಹಾಮನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ,They forgot God their Savior, who did great things in Egypt,

22ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಘೋರಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಡೆಸಿದ, ತಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಕನಾದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಮರೆತೇ ಬಿಟ್ಟರು.wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.

23ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುವೆನು ಎನ್ನಲು, ಆತನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸದಂತೆ ಆತನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಶಾಂತಪಡಿಸಿದನು.So He said He would destroy them—had not Moses His chosen one stood before Him in the breach to divert His wrath from destroying them.

24ಅವರು ಆ ರಮಣೀಯ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದರು, ಆತನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ.They despised the pleasant land; they did not believe His promise.

25ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.They grumbled in their tents and did not listen to the voice of the LORD.

26ಇದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಬೀಳಿಸುವೆನೆಂದೂ,So He raised His hand and swore to cast them down in the wilderness,

27ಅವರ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನು ದೇಶಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದುರಿಸಿ, ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನೆಂದೂ ಕೈಯೆತ್ತಿದನು.to disperse their offspring among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands.

28ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಾಳ್ ಪೆಗೋರನ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಜ್ಞ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡಿದರು.They yoked themselves to Baal of Peor and ate sacrifices offered to lifeless gods.

29ಈ ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೆಣಕಿದರು; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯುಂಟಾಯಿತು.So they provoked the LORD to anger with their deeds, and a plague broke out among them.

30ಫೀನೆಹಾಸನು ಎದ್ದು ಅವರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸಲು, ಆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ನಿಂತುಹೋಯಿತು.But Phinehas stood and intervened, and the plague was restrained.

31ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ತಲಾತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ನೀತಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.It was credited to him as righteousness for endless generations to come.

32ಅವರು ಮೆರೀಬ ಪ್ರವಾಹದ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ರೇಗಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.At the waters of Meribah they angered the LORD, and trouble came to Moses because of them.

33ಅವರು ದೇವರಾತ್ಮನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಮೋಶೆ ದುಡುಕಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು.For they rebelled against His Spirit, and Moses spoke rashly with his lips.

34ಅನ್ಯ ಜನಾಂಗದವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿ,They did not destroy the peoples as the LORD had commanded them,

35ಅವರೊಡನೆ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅವರ ದುರಾಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿತುಕೊಂಡರು.but they mingled with the nations and adopted their customs.

36ಅವರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿದರು; ಅವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉರುಲಿನಂತಾದವು.They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them.

37ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಭೂತಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons.

38ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ, ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ನಿರಪರಾಧ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದರು; ಇಂಥ ಕೊಲೆಗಳಿಂದ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡಿದರು.They shed innocent blood—the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood.

39ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧರಾದರು. ದುರಾಚಾರಗಳಿಂದ ದೇವದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳಾದರು.They defiled themselves by their actions and prostituted themselves by their deeds.

40ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೋಪವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಗೊಂಡಿತು; ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾದ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಸಹ್ಯಿಸಿ,So the anger of the LORD burned against His people, and He abhorred His own inheritance.

41ಅವರನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು. ವೈರಿಗಳು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ನಡೆಸಿದರು;He delivered them into the hand of the nations, and those who hated them ruled over them.

42ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಸಿದರು; ಅವರ ಕೈಕೆಳಗೆ ತಗ್ಗಿಹೋದರು.Their enemies oppressed them and subdued them under their hand.

43ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅನೇಕಾವರ್ತಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರೂ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನೇ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾದರು; ತಮ್ಮ ಅಕ್ರಮದಿಂದಲೇ ಹೀನಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.Many times He rescued them, but they were bent on rebellion and sank down in their iniquity.

44ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ, ಅವರ ಮೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಪರಾಂಬರಿಸಿದನು.Nevertheless He heard their cry; He took note of their distress.

45ತನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೆನಪುಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ತನ್ನ ಕೃಪಾತಿಶಯದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸಿದನು.And He remembered His covenant with them, and relented by the abundance of His loving devotion.

46ಸೆರೆಯೊಯ್ದವರ ದಯೆಗೆ ಅವರು ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.He made them objects of compassion to all who held them captive.

47ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರೇ, ರಕ್ಷಿಸು; ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಸು. ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆವು; ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಪಡುವೆವು.Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give thanks to Your holy name, that we may glory in Your praise.

48ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ, ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳವರೆಗೂ ಕೊಂಡಾಟವಾಗಲಿ; ಸರ್ವಜನರೂ <<ಆಮೆನ್>> ಎನ್ನಲಿ. ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ!Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, “Amen!” Hallelujah!
