1. 1ULBನಾವು ಬಾಬೆಲ್ ದೇಶದ ನದಿಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡು, ಚೀಯೋನನ್ನು ನೆನಪುಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅತ್ತೆವು.BSBBSB: By the rivers of Babylon we sat and wept when we remembered Zion.

3. 3ULBನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದು ಪೀಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು ನಮಗೆ, <<ಚೀಯೋನಿನ ಗೀತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ವಿನೋದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹಾಡಿರಿ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.BSBBSB: for there our captors requested a song; our tormentors demanded songs of joy: “Sing us a song of Zion.”
4. 4ULBನಾವು ಪರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ?BSBBSB: How can we sing a song of the LORD in a foreign land?
5. 5ULBಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈಯು ತನ್ನ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮರೆತು ಹೋಗಲಿ.BSBBSB: If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand cease to function.
6. 6ULBಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೆನಪು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಿದ್ದರೆ, ಎಲ್ಲಾದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ, ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಸೇದಿಹೋಗಲಿ.BSBBSB: May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not exalt Jerusalem as my greatest joy!

8. 8ULBಹಾಳಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಬಾಬೆಲ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವೇ, ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುವವನು ಧನ್ಯನು.BSBBSB: O Daughter of Babylon, doomed to destruction, blessed is he who repays you as you have done to us.
9. 9ULBನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಬಂಡೆಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಳಿಸುವವನು ಭಾಗ್ಯಹೊಂದಲಿ.BSBBSB: Blessed is he who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.
