4 ULB ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ದುರಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚದಂತೆಯೂ, ನಾನು ದುಷ್ಟರೊಡನೆ ಸೇರಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸದಂತೆಯೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡು. ಅವರ ಮೃಷ್ಟಾನ್ನವು ನನಗೆ ಬೇಡವೇ ಬೇಡ. BSB BSB: Do not let my heart be drawn to any evil thing or take part in works of wickedness with men who do iniquity; let me not feast on their delicacies.

8 ULB ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿದೆ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಬೇಡ. BSB BSB: But my eyes are fixed on You, O GOD the Lord. In You I seek refuge; do not leave my soul defenseless.
9 ULB ಕೆಡುಕರ ಉರುಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬೀಳದಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡು, ಅವರು ಬೀಸಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಬಲೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸು. BSB BSB: Keep me from the snares they have laid for me, and from the lures of evildoers.
