1 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ಬೆಳಕೂ, ರಕ್ಷಕನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಾನು ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟೆನು? ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣದ ಆಧಾರವು; ನಾನು ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಹೆದರೇನು? BSB BSB: Of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—whom shall I dread?
2 ULB ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ದುರ್ವೈರಿಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬಂದು, ತಾವೇ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋದರು. BSB BSB: When the wicked came upon me to devour my flesh, my enemies and foes stumbled and fell.
3 ULB ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ದಂಡು ಬಂದಿಳಿದರೂ ನನಗೇನೂ ಭಯವಿಲ್ಲ; ಚತುರಂಗಬಲವು ಯುದ್ಧಸನ್ನದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತರೂ, ಭರವಸವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿಯೇ ಇರುವೆನು. BSB BSB: Though an army encamps around me, my heart will not fear; though a war breaks out against me, I will keep my trust.
4 ULB ನನ್ನ ಜೀವಮಾನದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಆತನ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನತೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಆತನ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಧ್ಯಾನ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ನನಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಒಂದೇ ವರವನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನೇ ಎದುರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆನು. BSB BSB: One thing I have asked of the LORD; this is what I desire: to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and seek Him in His temple.
5 ULB ಅಪಾಯಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಗುಪ್ತಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಸುವನು; ತನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರವೆಂಬ ಆಶ್ರಯಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಭದ್ರಪಡಿಸುವನು; ಪರ್ವತಶಿಖರದ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವನು. BSB BSB: For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; He will conceal me under the cover of His tent; He will set me high upon a rock.
6 ULB ಹೀಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ವೈರಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ, ನನ್ನ ತಲೆ ಎತ್ತಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವುದು; ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಉತ್ಸಾಹಧ್ವನಿಯೊಡನೆ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು. ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಾಡುತ್ತಾ ವಾದ್ಯಬಾರಿಸುವೆನು. BSB BSB: Then my head will be held high above my enemies around me. At His tabernacle I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD.
7 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸಿ, ಸದುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸು. BSB BSB: Hear, O LORD, my voice when I call; be merciful and answer me.
8 ULB <<ನನ್ನ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾ>> ಎಂಬ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ, ನಾನು, <<ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೇ ಬರುವೆನು>> ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು. BSB BSB: My heart said, “Seek His face.” Your face, O LORD, I will seek.
9 ULB ನನಗೆ ವಿಮುಖನಾಗಿರಬೇಡ; ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನನ್ನು ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ತಳ್ಳಬೇಡ. ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕನಾಗಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದೆಯಲ್ಲವೇ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ ದೇವರೇ, ಕೈಬಿಡಬೇಡ, ತೊರೆದುಬಿಡಬೇಡ. BSB BSB: Hide not Your face from me, nor turn away Your servant in anger. You have been my helper; do not leave me or forsake me, O God of my salvation.
10 ULB ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟರೇನು; ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. BSB BSB: Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me.
11 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸು; ಹೊಂಚುಹಾಕಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕದ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಮವಾದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸು. BSB BSB: Teach me Your way, O LORD, and lead me on a level path, because of my oppressors.
12 ULB ಸುಳ್ಳುಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳೂ ಬೆದರಿಸುವವರೂ ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಇಂಥ ವೈರಿಗಳ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬೇಡ. BSB BSB: Do not hand me over to the will of my foes, for false witnesses rise up against me, breathing out violence.
13 ULB ಜೀವಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದಯೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ನಂಬಿದ್ದೇನೆ. BSB BSB: Still I am certain to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
14 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರು, ದೃಢವಾಗಿರು; ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದಿರಲಿ; ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೇ ಇರು. BSB BSB: Wait patiently for the LORD; be strong and courageous. Wait patiently for the LORD!
