1 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವವರೊಡನೆ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಮಾಡು; ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡು. BSB BSB: Of David. Contend with my opponents, O LORD; fight against those who fight against me.
2 ULB ಖೇಡ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಗುರಾಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು, ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲು. BSB BSB: Take up Your shield and buckler; arise and come to my aid.
3 ULB ನೀನು ಭರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಕೊಡಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವ ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸು; <<ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ>> ಎಂದು ಅಭಯಕೊಡು. BSB BSB: Draw the spear and javelin against my pursuers; say to my soul: “I am your salvation.”
4 ULB ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವವರು ಆಶಾಭಂಗಪಟ್ಟು ಅವಮಾನಹೊಂದಲಿ; ನನಗೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವವರು ಕಳವಳದಿಂದ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಓಡಲಿ. BSB BSB: May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plan to harm me be driven back and confounded.
5 ULB ಅವರು ಗಾಳಿ ಹಾರಿಸುವ ಹೊಟ್ಟಿನಂತಾಗಲಿ; ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೂತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಟ್ಟಿಬಿಡಲಿ. BSB BSB: May they be like chaff in the wind, as the angel of the LORD drives them away.
6 ULB ಕತ್ತಲೆಯೂ, ಜಾರಿಕೆಯೂ ಇರುವ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೂತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಲಿ. BSB BSB: May their path be dark and slick, as the angel of the LORD pursues.
7 ULB ಅವರು ನಿಷ್ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಬಲೆಯೊಡ್ಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಗುಂಡಿಯನ್ನು ತೋಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. BSB BSB: For without cause they laid their net for me; without reason they dug a pit for my soul.
8 ULB ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಾಶನವು ಆಕಸ್ಮಾತ್ತಾಗಿ ಬರಲಿ; ತಾನು ಹಾಸಿದ ಬಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನೇ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬೀಳಲಿ. ತಾನು ತೋಡಿದ ಕುಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನೇ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗಲಿ. BSB BSB: May ruin befall them by surprise; may the net they hid ensnare them; may they fall into the hazard they created.
9 ULB ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಹರ್ಷವುಂಟಾಗುವುದು; ಆತನಿಂದಾದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಆನಂದಪಡುವೆನು. BSB BSB: Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD and exult in His salvation.
10 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಕುಗ್ಗಿದವನನ್ನು ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರಿಯಿಂದಲೂ, ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದ ಬಡವನನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡುವವನಿಂದಲೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವಾತನೇ, <<ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮಾನರು ಯಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ?>> ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಳುವವು. BSB BSB: All my bones will exclaim, “Who is like You, O LORD, who delivers the afflicted from the aggressor, the poor and needy from the robber?”
11 ULB ನ್ಯಾಯವಿರುದ್ಧ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಾನರಿಯದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. BSB BSB: Hostile witnesses come forward; they make charges I know nothing about.
12 ULB ಅವರು ಉಪಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಕಾರವನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಾನು ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವನಾದೆನು. BSB BSB: They repay me evil for good, to the bereavement of my soul.
13 ULB ನಾನಾದರೋ ಅವರ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಣಿ ತಟ್ಟನ್ನೇ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆನು; ಉಪವಾಸದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ನೋಯಿಸಿದೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ಕೇಳಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Yet when they were ill, I put on sackcloth; I humbled myself with fasting, but my prayers returned unanswered.
14 ULB ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾದವನನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನೋ, ಅಣ್ಣನೋ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡೆನು; ತಾಯಿ ಸತ್ತದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದುಃಖಿಸುವವನಂತೆ ನಾನು ತಲೆಬಾಗಿ ಅಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು. BSB BSB: I paced about as for my friend or brother; I was bowed down with grief, like one mourning for his mother.
15 ULB ಆದರೂ ನನಗೆ ಆಪತ್ತು ಬಂದಾಗ, ಅವರು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡರು; ನಿರಾಕಾರಣವಾಗಿ ಈ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿದರು, ಸೂರೆ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: But when I stumbled, they assembled in glee; they gathered together against me. Assailants I did not know slandered me without ceasing.
16 ULB ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುವ ಮೂರ್ಖರ ಸಂಗಡ, ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಲ್ಲುಕಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. BSB BSB: Like godless jesters at a feast, they gnashed their teeth at me.
17 ULB ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇನ್ನೆಷ್ಟರ ವರೆಗೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಇರುವಿ? ಅವರ ಅಪಾಯದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸು; ನನ್ನ ಪರಮಪ್ರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಆ ಸಿಂಹಗಳ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕದಂತೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸು. BSB BSB: How long, O Lord, will You look on? Rescue my soul from their ravages, my precious life from these lions.
18 ULB ಆಗ ನಾನು ಮಹಾಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು; ಬಹುಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವೆನು. BSB BSB: Then I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise You among many people.
19 ULB ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳು ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶಕೊಡಬೇಡ; ನಿಷ್ಕಾರಣ ವೈರಿಗಳ ಕಣ್ಣುಸನ್ನೆಗೆ ಆಸ್ಪದಕೊಡಬೇಡ. BSB BSB: Let not my enemies gloat over me without cause, nor those who hate me without reason wink in malice.
20 ULB ಅವರ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಸಮಾಧಾನಕರವಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲ; ದೇಶದ ಸಾಧುಜನರನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೋಸವನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. BSB BSB: For they do not speak peace, but they devise deceitful schemes against those who live quietly in the land.
21 ULB ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಬಾಯಿಕಿಸಿದು, <<ಆಹಾ, ಆಹಾ, ನಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕಂಡಿತಲ್ಲಾ>> ಎಂದು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ. BSB BSB: They gape at me and say, “Aha, aha! Our eyes have seen!”
22 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನೇ ನೋಡಿದಿಯಲ್ಲವೇ; ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಬೇಡ; ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನನ್ನಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿರುವುದೇಕೆ? BSB BSB: O LORD, You have seen it; be not silent. O Lord, be not far from me.
23 ULB ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ಎದ್ದು ನನಗಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸು; ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ವಿವಾದವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸು. BSB BSB: Awake and rise to my defense, to my cause, my God and my Lord!
24 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಗನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ತೀರ್ಪುಕೊಡು; ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಿರಬಾರದು. BSB BSB: Vindicate me by Your righteousness, O LORD my God, and do not let them gloat over me.
25 ULB ಆಹಾ, ನಮ್ಮ ಆಶೆ ನೆರವೇರಿತು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶವಿರಬಾರದು; ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇವೆಂದು ಅವರು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು. BSB BSB: Let them not say in their hearts, “Aha, just what we wanted!” Let them not say, “We have swallowed him up!”
26 ULB ನನ್ನ ಕೇಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಆಶಾಭಂಗಪಟ್ಟು ಅವಮಾನಹೊಂದಲಿ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೀಯಾಳಿಸಿ ಆತ್ಮಸ್ತುತಿಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು, ಅವಮಾನವನ್ನೂ, ಅಪಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹೊಂದಲಿ. BSB BSB: May those who gloat in my distress be ashamed and confounded; may those who exalt themselves over me be clothed in shame and reproach.
27 ULB ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಬಯಸುವವರು ಆನಂದದೊಡನೆ ಜಯಧ್ವನಿಮಾಡಲಿ; ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನ ಹಿತವನ್ನು ಕೋರುವ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಎಂದು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಹೇಳುವವರಾಗಲಿ. BSB BSB: May those who favor my vindication shout for joy and gladness; may they always say, “Exalted be the LORD who delights in His servant’s well-being.”
28 ULB ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ವರ್ಣಿಸುವುದು. BSB BSB: Then my tongue will proclaim Your righteousness and Your praises all day long.
