Psalm 37 (ULB) · Opened

1ಕೆಟ್ಟ ನಡತೆಯುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತಳಮಳಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ; ದುರಾಚಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅಸೂಯೆಪಡಬೇಡ.Of David. Do not fret over those who do evil; do not envy those who do wrong.

2ಅವರು ಹುಲ್ಲಿನಂತೆ ಬೇಗ ಒಣಗಿಹೋಗುವರು; ಹಸಿರು ಸಸಿಯಂತೆ ಬಾಡಿಹೋಗುವರು.For they wither quickly like grass and wilt like tender plants.

3ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಟ್ಟು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡು; ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸು.Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.

4ನೀನು ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸು; ಆಗ ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವನು.Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

5ನಿನ್ನ ಭೂಯಾತ್ರೆಯ ಚಿಂತೆಯನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ವಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ಭರವಸದಿಂದಿರು; ಆತನೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಸಾಗಿಸುವನು.Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will do it.

6ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಉದಯದ ಬೆಳಕಿನಂತೆಯೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ತೇಜಸ್ಸಿನಂತೆಯೂ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಗೊಳಿಸುವನು.He will bring forth your righteousness like the dawn, your justice like the noonday sun.

7ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಂತನಾಗಿ ಆತನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಾದಿರು; ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೊಂದುವವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಉರಿಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ.Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when men prosper in their ways, when they carry out wicked schemes.

8ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಅಡಗಿಸಿಕೋ; ರೋಷವನ್ನು ಬಿಡು. ತಳಮಳಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ; ಕೆಡುಕಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾದೀತು.Refrain from anger and abandon wrath; do not fret—it can only bring harm.

9ಕೆಡುಕರು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡುವರು; ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವವರೇ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವರು.For the evildoers will be cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.

10ಇನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲದೊಳಗೆ ದುಷ್ಟನು ಕಾಣಿಸದೆ ನಿರ್ನಾಮವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವನು; ಅವನಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದರೂ ಅವನು ಸಿಕ್ಕುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.Yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found.

11ಆದರೆ ದೀನರು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವರು; ಅವರು ಮಹಾಸೌಖ್ಯದಿಂದ ಆನಂದಿಸುವರು.But the meek will inherit the land and delight in abundant prosperity.

12ದುಷ್ಟನು ನೀತಿವಂತನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಆಲೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಹಲ್ಲುಕಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.The wicked scheme against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them,

13ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಾಕಾಲ ಬರುತ್ತದೆಂದು ನಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.but the Lord laughs, seeing that their day is coming.

14ದುಷ್ಟರು ದೀನದರಿದ್ರರನ್ನು ಕಡಿದುಬಿಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿರಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಯಥಾರ್ಥರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.The wicked have drawn the sword and bent the bow to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose ways are upright.

15ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಕತ್ತಿ ಅವರ ಎದೆಯನ್ನೇ ಇರಿದುಬಿಡುವುದು; ಅವರ ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗಳು ಸಿಡಿದು ಮುರಿದುಹೋಗುವವು;But their swords will pierce their own hearts, and their bows will be broken.

16ದುಷ್ಟರ ಮಹಾಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ನೀತಿವಂತನ ಬಡತನವೇ ಲೇಸು.Better is the little of the righteous than the abundance of many who are wicked.

17ದುಷ್ಟರ ತೋಳುಗಳು ಮುರಿದುಹೋಗುವವು; ನೀತಿವಂತರನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಉದ್ಧರಿಸುವನು.For the arms of the wicked will be broken, but the LORD upholds the righteous.

18ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಗಳ ಜೀವಮಾನವನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವರ ಸ್ವತ್ತು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು.The LORD knows the days of the blameless, and their inheritance will last forever.

19ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿಪತ್ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಪಮಾನವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಬರಗಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊರತೆಯಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.In the time of evil they will not be ashamed, and in the days of famine they will be satisfied.

20ದುಷ್ಟರೋ ನಾಶವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವರು; ಯೆಹೋವನ ವೈರಿಗಳು ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲುಗಳ ಸೊಗಸಿನಂತಿದ್ದು ಮಾಯವಾಗುವರು. ಅವರು ಹಬೆಯಂತೆ ತೋರಿ ಅಡಗಿಹೋಗುವರು.But the wicked and enemies of the LORD will perish like the glory of the fields. They will vanish; like smoke they will fade away.

21ದುಷ್ಟನು ಸಾಲಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ತೀರಿಸಲಾರದೆ ಹೋಗುವನು; ನೀತಿವಂತನು ಪರೋಪಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಧರ್ಮಕೊಡುವನು.The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous are gracious and giving.

22ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವು ಯಾರಿಗಿರುವುದೋ ಅವರು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವರು; ಆತನ ಶಾಪವು ಯಾರಿಗಿರುವುದೋ ಅವರು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡುವರು.Surely those He blesses will inherit the land, but the cursed will be destroyed.

23ಸತ್ಪುರುಷನ ಗತಿಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದಲೇ ಆಗಿದೆ, ಆತನು ಅವನ ಪ್ರವರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾನೆ.The steps of a man are ordered by the LORD who takes delight in his journey.

24ಅವನು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದರೂ ಏಳದೆ ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೈಹಿಡಿದು ಉದ್ಧಾರ ಮಾಡುವನು.Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed, for the LORD is holding his hand.

25ನಾನು ಬಾಲಕನಾಗಿದ್ದೆನು, ಈಗ ವೃದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಈ ವರೆಗೂ ನೀತಿವಂತನು ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವುದನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರು ಭಿಕ್ಷೆಬೇಡಿ ತಿನ್ನುವುದನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.I once was young and now am old, yet never have I seen the righteous abandoned or their children begging for bread.

26ಅವನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಧರ್ಮಿಷ್ಠನಾಗಿ ಹಣ ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಹೊಂದುವರು.They are ever generous and quick to lend, and their children are a blessing.

27ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗದೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡು; ಆಗ ನೀನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವಿ.Turn away from evil and do good, so that you will abide forever.

28ಯೆಹೋವನು ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚುವವನು; ತನ್ನ ಭಕ್ತರನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಕೈಬಿಡುವವನಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತರಾಗಿರುವರು. ದುಷ್ಟರ ಸಂತತಿ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡುವುದು.For the LORD loves justice and will not forsake His saints. They are preserved forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off.

29ನೀತಿವಂತರೋ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವವರಾಗಿ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವರು.The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.

30ನೀತಿವಂತನ ಬಾಯಿಯು ಸುಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತದೆ, ಅವನ ನಾಲಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನೇ ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ.The mouth of the righteous man utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice.

31ದೇವರ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶವು ಅವನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು; ಅವನು ಜಾರುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not falter.

32ದುಷ್ಟನು ಹೊಂಚುಹಾಕಿ ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸಮಯನೋಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.Though the wicked lie in wait for the righteous, and seek to slay them,

33ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕೈಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಗೊಡಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವನನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರಾಧಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.the LORD will not leave them in their power or let them be condemned under judgment.

34ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವವನಾಗಿ ಆತನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನೇ ಅನುಸರಿಸು; ಆಗ ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವನು; ದುಷ್ಟರು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡುವುದನ್ನು ನೀನು ನೋಡುವಿ.Wait for the LORD and keep His way, and He will raise you up to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off, you will see it.

35ದುಷ್ಟನು ಭೀಕರನಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಸಿರಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದ ಮರದಂತೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೆನು.I have seen a wicked, ruthless man flourishing like a well-rooted native tree,

36ತರುವಾಯ ನಾನು ಆ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಿ ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ, ಅವನು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದನು, ಅವನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದರೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ.yet he passed away and was no more; though I searched, he could not be found.

37ಒಳ್ಳೇ ನಡತೆಯುಳ್ಳವನನ್ನು ನೋಡು, ಯಥಾರ್ಥನನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸು; ಶಾಂತನಿಗೆ ಸಂತಾನವೃದ್ಧಿ ಆಗುವುದು.Consider the blameless and observe the upright, for posterity awaits the man of peace.

38ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಾಶವಾಗುವರು; ದುಷ್ಟರ ಸಂತಾನವು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡುವುದು.But the transgressors will all be destroyed; the future of the wicked will be cut off.

39ನೀತಿವಂತರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದಲೇ; ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ದುರ್ಗಸ್ಥಾನ.The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their stronghold in time of trouble.

40ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸಹಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುವನು; ಅವರು ಆತನ ಆಶ್ರಿತರಾದುದರಿಂದ, ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ದುಷ್ಟರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು.The LORD helps and delivers them; He rescues and saves them from the wicked, because they take refuge in Him.
