1ನನ್ನ ಜನರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಉಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟು ಲಾಲಿಸಿರಿ.A Maskil of Asaph. Give ear, O my people, to my instruction; listen to the words of my mouth.

2ನಾನು ಬಾಯ್ದೆರೆದು ಸಾಮ್ಯರೂಪವಾಗಿ ಉಪದೇಶಿಸುವೆನು. ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದ ಗೂಢಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಬಹಿರಂಗಪಡಿಸುವೆನು.I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the beginning,

3ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ತಿಳಿದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು, ಅವರ ಸಂತಾನದವರಿಗೆ ಮರೆಮಾಡದೆ,that we have heard and known and our fathers have relayed to us.

4ಯೆಹೋವನ ಘನತೆಯನ್ನು, ಆತನ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು, ಅದ್ಭುತಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಂದಣ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸುವೆವು.We will not hide them from their children but will declare to the next generation the praises of the LORD and His might and the wonders He has performed.

5ಆತನು ಯಾಕೋಬವಂಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, <<ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಡಿರಿ;For He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers to teach to their children,

6ಇದರಿಂದ ಅವು ಅವರ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿ, ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುವರು.that the coming generation would know them—even children yet to be born—to arise and tell their own children

7ಆಗ ಅವರು ಮೊಂಡರೂ, ಅವಿಧೇಯರೂ, ಚಪಲಚಿತ್ತರೂ, ದೇವದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳೂ ಆದ ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಂತೆ ಆಗದೆ,that they should put their confidence in God, not forgetting His works, but keeping His commandments.

8ನನ್ನ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆಯದೆ, ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಭರವಸೆಯಿಟ್ಟು, ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವರು>> ಎಂಬುದೇ.Then they will not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, whose heart was not loyal, whose spirit was not faithful to God.

9ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಕುಲದವರು ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿ, ಯುದ್ಧಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು.The archers of Ephraim turned back on the day of battle.

10ಅವರು ದೇವರ ನಿಬಂಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಆತನ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಲು ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.They failed to keep God’s covenant and refused to live by His law.

11ಆತನ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು, ಆತನು ತಮ್ಮೆದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.They forgot what He had done, the wonders He had shown them.

12ಆತನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಸೋನ್ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವರ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಸಮಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದನು.He worked wonders before their fathers in the land of Egypt, in the region of Zoan.

13ಆತನು ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಿ, ಅದರ ನೀರನ್ನು ರಾಶಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ದಾಟಿಸಿದನು.He split the sea and brought them through; He set the waters upright like a wall.

14ಹಗಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಡದಿಂದಲೂ, ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಬೆಳಕಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದನು.He led them with a cloud by day and with a light of fire all night.

15ಆತನು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸೀಳಿ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಗರದಿಂದಲೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಧಾರಾಳವಾಗಿ ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಸಿದನು.He split the rocks in the wilderness and gave them drink as abundant as the seas.

16ಗಿರಿಶಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ಜಲಪ್ರವಾಹಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿ, ನದಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಹರಿಯಮಾಡಿದನು.He brought streams from the stone and made water flow down like rivers.

17ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ನಿರ್ಜಲಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪದೇಪದೇ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪಾಪಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದರು.But they continued to sin against Him, rebelling in the desert against the Most High.

18ಅವರು ಇಷ್ಟಭೋಜನವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಾಗ, ಸಂಶಯ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.They willfully tested God by demanding the food they craved.

19ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, <<ದೇವರು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬಡಿಸಬಲ್ಲನೋ?They spoke against God, saying, “Can God really prepare a table in the wilderness?

20ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು, ನೀರು ಚಿಮ್ಮಿ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಪ್ರವಾಹವು ದಡಮೀರಿ ಹರಿಯುವಂತೆಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದನಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆತನು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲು ಶಕ್ತನೋ? ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನೂ ಒದಗಿಸುವನೋ>> ಎಂಬುದೇ.When He struck the rock, water gushed out and torrents raged. But can He also give bread or supply His people with meat?”

21ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ರೋಷಗೊಂಡನು. ಅವರು ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡದೆಯೂ, ಆತನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಂಬದೆ ಹೋದುದರಿಂದಲೂ,Therefore the LORD heard and was filled with wrath; so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and His anger flared against Israel,

22ಆತನಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪವುಂಟಾಯಿತು; ಯಾಕೋಬ್ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹತ್ತಿತು.because they did not believe God or rely on His salvation.

23ಆತನು ಮೇಘಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟು ಆಕಾಶದ್ವಾರಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು,Yet He commanded the clouds above and opened the doors of the heavens.

24ಸ್ವರ್ಗಧಾನ್ಯವಾದ ಮನ್ನವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸುರಿಸಿ, ಉಣ್ಣಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.He rained down manna for them to eat; He gave them grain from heaven.

25ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ದೇವದೂತರ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿದನು. ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಭೋಜನವನ್ನು ಸಂತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದನು.Man ate the bread of angels; He sent them food in abundance.

26ಆತನು ಗಗನಮಂಡಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಡಣ ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿ, ಪ್ರತಾಪದಿಂದ ತೆಂಕಣ ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹೊಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು,He stirred the east wind from the heavens and drove the south wind by His might.

27ಧೂಳಿನಷ್ಟು ಮಾಂಸವೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದನು; ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮರಳಿನಷ್ಟು ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಅವರಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.He rained meat on them like dust, and winged birds like the sand of the sea.

28ಅವು ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅವರ ಬಿಡಾರಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಬಿದ್ದವು.He felled them in the midst of their camp, all around their dwellings.

29ಅವರು ತಿಂದು ಸಂತೃಪ್ತರಾದರು; ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬಯಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.So they ate and were well filled, for He gave them what they craved.

30ಅವರ ಇಷ್ಟಭೋಜನವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು, ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಸೇವಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೇ,Yet before they had filled their desire, with the food still in their mouths,

31ದೇವರ ಕೋಪವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು, ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದವರನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಿ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪ್ರಾಯಸ್ಥರನ್ನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕುರುಳಿಸಿತು.God’s anger flared against them, and He put to death their strongest and subdued the young men of Israel.

32ಇಷ್ಟಾದರೂ ಪುನಃ ಪುನಃ ಪಾಪಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದರು; ಅವರು ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಂಬದೆ ಹೋದರು.In spite of all this, they kept on sinning; despite His wonderful works, they did not believe.

33ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವರ ಜೀವಿತ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಉಸಿರಿನಂತೆಯೂ, ಅವರ ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ಭಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಮುಗಿಸಿದನು.So He ended their days in futility, and their years in sudden terror.

34ಸಂಹಾರವಾಗುವಾಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರು ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೆನಸಿ, ಪುನಃ ಆತನ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನತೆಯನ್ನು ಬಯಸಿ,When He slew them, they would seek Him; they repented and searched for God.

35ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಂಡೆಯು, ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರು, ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಮೋಚಕನು ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.And they remembered that God was their Rock, that God Most High was their Redeemer.

36ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ವಂಚಿಸಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಸುಳ್ಳಾಡಿದರು.But they deceived Him with their mouths, and lied to Him with their tongues.

37ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ಆತನ ನಿಬಂಧನೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಷ್ಠೆಯಿಂದ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.Their hearts were disloyal to Him, and they were unfaithful to His covenant.

38ಆದರೂ ಆತನು ಕರುಣಾಳುವೂ, ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸದೆ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸುವವನೂ ಆಗಿ, ತನ್ನ ಸಿಟ್ಟನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಏರಗೊಡಿಸದೆ, ಅದನ್ನು ಹಲವು ಸಾರಿ ತಡೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದನು.And yet He was compassionate; He forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them. He often restrained His anger and did not unleash His full wrath.

39ಅವರು ಮಾಂಸಮಾತ್ರದವರೂ, ಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಪಡೆಯದವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ನೆನಪುಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.He remembered that they were but flesh, a passing breeze that does not return.

40ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಸಾರಿ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಯಿಸಿದರು.How often they disobeyed Him in the wilderness and grieved Him in the desert!

41ಆತನನ್ನು ಪದೇಪದೇ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸದಮಲಸ್ವಾಮಿಯನ್ನು ಕೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿದರು.Again and again they tested God and provoked the Holy One of Israel.

42ಅವರು ಆತನ ಭುಜಬಲವನ್ನೂ, ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದ ಸಮಯವನ್ನೂ,They did not remember His power—the day He redeemed them from the adversary,

43ಆತನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು, ಸೋನ್ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.when He performed His signs in Egypt and His wonders in the fields of Zoan.

44ಅವರು ಹಳ್ಳದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯಲಾಗದಂತೆ, ಆತನು ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ನದಿಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ತವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದನು.He turned their rivers to blood, and from their streams they could not drink.

45ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ವಿಷದ ಹುಳಗಳನ್ನು, ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವ ಕಪ್ಪೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.He sent swarms of flies that devoured them, and frogs that devastated them.

46ಅವರ ಬೆಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ಜಿಟ್ಟೆಹುಳಗಳಿಗೂ, ಕಷ್ಟಫಲವನ್ನು ಮಿಡತೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟನು.He gave their crops to the grasshopper, the fruit of their labor to the locust.

47ಅವರ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಅತ್ತಿಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಮಳೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿದನು.He killed their vines with hailstones and their sycamore-figs with sleet.

48ಅವರ ದನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಮಳೆಗೂ, ಕುರಿಹಿಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿಡಿಲಿಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.He abandoned their cattle to the hail and their livestock to bolts of lightning.

49ಆತನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೋಪರೌದ್ರಗಳನ್ನು, ಉಗ್ರಹಿಂಸೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಹಾರಕ ದೂತಗಣವನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.He unleashed His fury against them, wrath, indignation, and calamity—a band of destroying angels.

50ತನ್ನ ರೌದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಎಡೆಗೊಟ್ಟು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬದುಕಗೊಡಿಸದೆ, ಅವರ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಮರಣವ್ಯಾಧಿಗೆ ಆಹುತಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.He cleared a path for His anger; He did not spare them from death but delivered their lives to the plague.

51ಹಾಮನ ವಂಶದವರ ಪ್ರಥಮಫಲವಾಗಿರುವ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು.He struck all the firstborn of Egypt, the virility in the tents of Ham.

52ಆತನು ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ಜನವನ್ನು ಹೊರತಂದು, ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂಡನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸಿ ನಡೆಸಿದನು.He led out His people like sheep and guided them like a flock in the wilderness.

53ಆತನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಭಯಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮುದ್ರವು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು;He led them safely, so they did not fear, but the sea engulfed their enemies.

54ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಪವಿತ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಭುಜಬಲದಿಂದ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿದ ಈ ಪರ್ವತಸೀಮೆಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದನು.He brought them to His holy land, to the mountain His right hand had acquired.

55ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮುಂದಿನಿಂದ ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಅವರ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಬಿಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದನು.He drove out nations before them and apportioned their inheritance; He settled the tribes of Israel in their tents.

56ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾದರು. ಆತನ ವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳದೆ,But they tested and disobeyed God Most High, for they did not keep His decrees.

57ಆತನಿಗೆ ವಿಮುಖರಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಹಿರಿಯರಂತೆ ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳಾದರು. ಮೋಸದ ಬಿಲ್ಲಿನಂತೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡರು.They turned back and were faithless like their fathers, twisted like a faulty bow.

58ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಂದ ಆತನನ್ನು ಬೇಸರಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದ ರೇಗಿಸಿದರು.They enraged Him with their high places and provoked His jealousy with their idols.

59ದೇವರು ಇದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ರೌದ್ರನಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.On hearing it, God was furious and rejected Israel completely.

60ತಾನು ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ, ಶಿಲೋವ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿಸಿದ ನಿವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟು,He abandoned the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent He had pitched among men.

61ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರತಾಪವನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.He delivered His strength to captivity, and His splendor to the hand of the adversary.

62ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ಖಡ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿ, ತನ್ನ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಗ್ರನಾದನು.He surrendered His people to the sword because He was enraged by His heritage.

63ಅವರ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರು ಅಗ್ನಿಗೆ ಆಹುತಿಯಾದರು; ಅವರ ಕನ್ಯೆಯರು ವಿವಾಹವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.Fire consumed His young men, and their maidens were left without wedding songs.

64ಯಾಜಕರು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಂಹೃತರಾದರು; ಇವರ ವಿಧವೆಯರು ದುಃಖಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.His priests fell by the sword, but their widows could not lament.

65ಆ ವರೆಗೆ ನಿದ್ರಿಸುವವನಂತೆಯೂ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದ ಮೈಮರೆತ ವೀರನಂತೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದ ಕರ್ತನು ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತು,Then the Lord awoke as from sleep, like a mighty warrior overcome by wine.

66ತನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸದೆಬಡಿದು, ನಿತ್ಯನಿಂದೆಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿದನು.He beat back His foes; He put them to everlasting shame.

67ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಕುಲದ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ, ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಕುಲವನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ,He rejected the tent of Joseph and refused the tribe of Ephraim.

68ಯೆಹೂದ ಕುಲವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯವಾದ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಗಿರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.But He chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which He loved.

69ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಪರ್ವತದಂತೆಯೂ, ತಾನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ ಭೂಮಿಯಂತೆಯೂ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿದನು.He built His sanctuary like the heights, like the earth He has established forever.

70ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಕುರಿಹಟ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು,He chose David His servant and took him from the sheepfolds;

71ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿ, ಅವನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಸಾಕುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.from tending the ewes He brought him to be shepherd of His people Jacob, of Israel His inheritance.

72ಇವನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಯಥಾರ್ಥಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಸಾಕಿ, ತನ್ನ ಹಸ್ತಕೌಶಲ್ಯದಿಂದ ನಡೆಸಿದನು.So David shepherded them with integrity of heart and guided them with skillful hands.
