1 ULB ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತನಾದ ದೇವರ ಮೊರೆಹೊಕ್ಕವನು, ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತನಾಗಿರುವನು. BSB BSB: He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 ULB ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ, <<ನೀನೇ ನನ್ನ ಶರಣನು, ನನ್ನ ದುರ್ಗವು, ನಾನು ಭರವಸವಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವೆನು. BSB BSB: I will say to the LORD, “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
3 ULB ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಟೆಗಾರನ ಬಲೆಯಿಂದಲೂ, ಮರಣಕರ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವವನು ಆತನೇ. BSB BSB: Surely He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly plague.
4 ULB ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊದಗಿಸುವನು; ಆತನ ಪಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ಮರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ. ಆತನ ಸತ್ಯತೆಯೇ ನನಗೆ ಖೇಡ್ಯವೂ, ಗುರಾಣಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದೆ. BSB BSB: He will cover you with His feathers; under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and rampart.
5 ULB ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವ ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಹಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾರಿಬರುವ ಬಾಣಕ್ಕೂ, BSB BSB: You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 ULB ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವ ವಿಪತ್ತಿಗೂ, ಹಾನಿಕರವಾದ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ಕೇಡಿಗೂ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the calamity that destroys at noon.
7 ULB ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗ್ಗುಲಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು, ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು ಸತ್ತು ಬಿದ್ದರೂ ನಿನಗೇನೂ ತಟ್ಟದು. BSB BSB: Though a thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, no harm will come near you.
8 ULB ನೀನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಂಡು, ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆಯುಂಟು ಎಂಬುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿರುವಿಯಷ್ಟೆ. BSB BSB: You will only see it with your eyes and witness the punishment of the wicked.
9 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ನನ್ನ ಶರಣನು! ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತನಾದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನಿವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಿಯಲ್ಲಾ. BSB BSB: Because you have made the LORD your dwelling—my refuge, the Most High—
10 ULB ಯಾವ ಕೇಡೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸದು; ಉಪದ್ರವವು ನಿನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರದ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೂ ಬಾರದು. BSB BSB: no evil will befall you, no plague will approach your tent.
11 ULB ನೀನು ಹೋಗುವಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ದೂತರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡುವನು. BSB BSB: For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
12 ULB ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾಲು ಕಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತಗಲದಂತೆ, ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. BSB BSB: They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 ULB ಸಿಂಹ ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ಪಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆಯುವಿ; ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸಿಂಹವನ್ನೂ, ಘಟಸರ್ಪವನ್ನೂ ತುಳಿದುಬಿಡುವಿ. BSB BSB: You will tread on the lion and cobra; you will trample the young lion and serpent.
14 ULB ಅವನು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಕ್ತನಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವೆನು; ನನ್ನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಅರಿತವನಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಉದ್ಧರಿಸುವೆನು. BSB BSB: “Because he loves Me, I will deliver him; because he knows My name, I will protect him.
15 ULB ಅವನು ನನಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವಾಗ ಸದುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸುವೆನು; ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತಿರವಿದ್ದು ಅವನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಘನಪಡಿಸುವೆನು; BSB BSB: When he calls out to Me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him.
16 ULB ದೀರ್ಘಾಯುಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ, ಅವನನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸುವೆನು; ನನ್ನ ವಿಶೇಷವಾದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವೆನು. BSB BSB: With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.”
