1 ULB ಏಳು ಬಟ್ಟಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದ ಏಳು ಮಂದಿ ದೇವದೂತರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಬಂದು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು, <<ಬಾ, ಬಹಳ ನೀರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಹಾ ಜಾರಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೆ ಆಗುವ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. BSB BSB: Then one of the seven angels with the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits on many waters.
2 ULB ಅವಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭೂರಾಜರು ಜಾರತ್ವ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಆಕೆಯ ಜಾರತ್ವವೆಂಬ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದು ಮತ್ತರಾದರು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: The kings of the earth were immoral with her, and those who dwell on the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her immorality.”
3 ULB ಆಗ ಅವನು ದೇವರಾತ್ಮವಶನಾದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಕಡುಗೆಂಪು ಬಣ್ಣದ ಮೃಗದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು. ಆ ಮೃಗದ ಮೈಮೇಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ದೂಷಣೆಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ್ದ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು ತುಂಬಿದ್ದವು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಏಳು ತಲೆಗಳೂ ಹತ್ತು ಕೊಂಬುಗಳೂ ಇದ್ದವು. BSB BSB: And the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, where I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns.
4 ULB ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಧೂಮ್ರವರ್ಣದ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ರಕ್ತಾಂಬರವನ್ನೂ ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಚಿನ್ನ, ರತ್ನ, ಮುತ್ತುಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಳು. ಆಕೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಜಾರತ್ವಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಿದ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಬಟ್ಟಲನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಳು. BSB BSB: The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls. She held in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality.
5 ULB ಅವಳ ಹಣೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ, <<ಮಹತ್ತಾದ ಬಾಬೆಲೆಂಬ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜಾರಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಮಾತೆ>> ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಬರೆಯಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. BSB BSB: And on her forehead a mysterious name was written: BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6 ULB ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ನೀತಿವಂತರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನೂ ಯೇಸುವಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿನೀಡಿ ಹತರಾದವರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದು ಮತ್ತಳಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು. ನಾನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅತ್ಯಾಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟೆನು. BSB BSB: I could see that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints and witnesses for Jesus. And I was utterly amazed at the sight of her.
7 ULB ಆದರೆ ಆ ದೇವದೂತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ <<ನೀನು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಪಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದೇತಕ್ಕೆ? ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅವಳ ವಾಹನವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮೃಗದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಏಳು ತಲೆಗಳೂ ಹತ್ತು ಕೊಂಬುಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಮೃಗ ಇರುವ ಗೂಢಾರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. BSB BSB: “Why are you so amazed?” said the angel. “I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and ten horns.

And those who dwell on the earth whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet will be.
9 ULB ಇದನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಜ್ಞಾನವೂ, ವಿವೇಕವೂ ಬೇಕು. ಆ ಏಳು ತಲೆಗಳು ಆ ಹೆಂಗಸು ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಏಳು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಾಗಿವೆ. BSB BSB: This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.
10 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವು ಏಳು ರಾಜರುಗಳೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ರಾಜರು ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಒಬ್ಬನು ಇದ್ದಾನೆ. ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಇನ್ನು ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವನು ಬಂದಾಗ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲ ಇರಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. BSB BSB: There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. But when he does come, he must remain for only a little while.
11 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೊದಲಿದ್ದು ಈಗ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವ ಆ ಮೃಗವು ತಾನೇ ಎಂಟನೆಯ ಅರಸನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಆ ಏಳು ರಾಜರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಅವನು ನಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವನು. BSB BSB: The beast that was, and now is not, is an eighth king, who belongs to the other seven and is going into destruction.

BSB BSB: The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but will receive one hour of authority as kings along with the beast.
13 ULB ಅವರು ಏಕ ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲವನ್ನೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನೂ ಮೃಗಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡುವರು. BSB BSB: These kings have one purpose: to yield their power and authority to the beast.
14 ULB ಅವರು ಯಜ್ಞದ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯಾದಾತನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವರು. ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಕರ್ತರ ಕರ್ತನೂ ರಾಜಾಧಿರಾಜನೂ ಆಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯು ಅವರನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸುವನು ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರು ಕರೆದವರೂ, ದೇವರಾದುಕೊಂಡವರೂ, ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತರೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಆತನವರು ಕುರಿಮರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲುಗಾರರಾಗುವರು.>> BSB BSB: They will make war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will triumph over them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and He will be accompanied by His called and chosen and faithful ones.”
15 ULB ಇನ್ನೂ ಆ ದೇವದೂತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, <<ಆ ಜಾರಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಕುಳಿತ್ತಿದ್ದ ನೀರನ್ನು ನೀನು ನೋಡಿದೆಯಲ್ಲ, ಅವು ಜನಾಂಗಳನ್ನು, ಜನ ಸಮೂಹಗಳನ್ನು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳನ್ನು, ಭಾಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದನು. BSB BSB: Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute was seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues.
16 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀನು ನೋಡಿದ ಹತ್ತು ಕೊಂಬುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮೃಗವನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆಯಲ್ಲ? ಅವುಗಳು ಜಾರಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಿ, ಅವಳನ್ನು ಗತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದವಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಇಲ್ಲದವಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವಳ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿಂದು, ಅವಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವರು. BSB BSB: And the ten horns and the beast that you saw will hate the prostitute. They will leave her desolate and naked, and they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.
17 ULB ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ, ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಒಂದೇ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಮೃಗಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಇದನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಿದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: For God has put it into their hearts to carry out His purpose by uniting to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.
18 ULB ನೀನು ಕಂಡ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಭೂರಾಜರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಮಹಾನಗರಿಯೇ ಆಗಿದೆ.>> BSB BSB: And the woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”
