A kut fin fahk mu, ‘Ma sin mwet uh,’ un mwet na lulap se inge ac tungal kut nwe ke kut misa, mweyen elos lulalfongi mu mwet palu se pa John.”

But if we say, ‘From men,’ all the people will stone us, for they are convinced that John was a prophet.”

Ouinge elos fahk, “Kut tia etu lah tuku ya me.”

Na Jesus el fahk, “Kwal, sang nu sin Caesar ma lun Caesar, ac sang nu sin God ma lun God.”

So Jesus told them,

Ke ma inge El God lun mwet moul, tia lun mwet misa, tuh nu sel mwet nukewa moul.”
