1. 1GLKUn čūska bija gudrāka uz viltu nekā visi zvēri laukā, ko Dievs Tas Kungs bija radījis, un tā sacīja uz sievu: vai tad Dievs ir sacījis: jums nebūs ēst no neviena koka dārzā?BSBBSB: Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field that the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden?’”
2. 2GLKTad sieva sacīja uz čūsku: mēs ēdam no koku augļiem dārzā;BSBBSB: The woman answered the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden,
3. 3GLKBet par tā koka augļiem, kas dārza vidū, Dievs ir sacījis: neēdiet no tā un neaizskariet to, ka jūs nemirstat.BSBBSB: but about the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You must not eat of it or touch it, or you will die.’”
4. 4GLKUn čūska sacīja uz sievu: mirt nemirsiet vis.BSBBSB: “You will not surely die,” the serpent told the woman.
5. 5GLKBet Dievs zin, ka, kurā dienā jūs no tā ēdīsiet, tad jūsu acis taps atvērtas, un jūs būsiet itin kā Dievs, zinādami labu un ļaunu.BSBBSB: “For God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
6. 6GLKUn sieva redzēja, ka labi būtu ēst no tā koka, un ka tas acīm jauks un patīkams koks esam, gudru darīt, un tā ņēma no viņa augļiem un ēda un deva arī savam vīram, un viņš ēda.BSBBSB: When the woman saw that the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eyes, and that it was desirable for obtaining wisdom, she took the fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate it.
7. 7GLKTad viņu abēju acis tapa atvērtas, un tie atzina, ka bija pliki, un sapina vīģes koka lapas un darīja sev priekšautus.BSBBSB: And the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; so they sewed together fig leaves and made coverings for themselves.
8. 8GLKUn tie dzirdēja Dieva Tā Kunga balsi, kas dārzā staigāja dienas dzestrumā. Tad Ādams un viņa sieva paslēpās priekš Dieva Tā Kunga apakš kokiem dārzā.BSBBSB: Then the man and his wife heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the breeze of the day, and they hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.
9. 9GLKUn Dievs Tas Kungs sauca Ādamu un sacīja uz to: Kur tu esi?BSBBSB: But the LORD God called out to the man, “Where are you?”
10. 10GLKUn tas sacīja: es dzirdēju Tavu balsi dārzā un bijājos, jo es esmu pliks, un paslēpos.BSBBSB: “I heard Your voice in the garden,” he replied, “and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.”
11. 11GLKUn Viņš sacīja: kas tev ir teicis, ka tu esi pliks? Vai tu neesi ēdis no tā koka, par ko Es tev pavēlēju, ka tev no tā nebija ēst?BSBBSB: “Who told you that you were naked?” asked the LORD God. “Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?”
12. 12GLKUn Ādams sacīja: tā sieva, ko Tu man devis, tā man deva no tā koka, un es esmu ēdis.BSBBSB: And the man answered, “The woman whom You gave me, she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”
13. 13GLKUn Dievs Tas Kungs sacīja uz sievu: kam tu to esi darījusi? Un sieva sacīja: čūska mani pievīlusi, un es esmu ēdusi.BSBBSB: Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” “The serpent deceived me,” she replied, “and I ate.”
14. 14GLKTad Dievs Tas Kungs sacīja uz čūsku: Tādēļ ka tu to darījusi, esi nolādēta priekš visiem lopiem un priekš visiem zvēriem laukā; uz tava vēdera tev būs iet un pīšļus ēst visu savu mūžu.BSBBSB: So the LORD God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and every beast of the field! On your belly will you go, and dust you will eat, all the days of your life.
15. 15GLKUn Es celšu ienaidu starp tevi un sievu un starp tavu sēklu un viņas sēklu: šis samīs tev galvu, un tu viņam iedursi papēdī.BSBBSB: And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”
16. 16GLKUn uz sievu Viņš sacīja: Es vairodams vairošu tavas sāpes un tavas grūtības mokas; ar sāpēm tev būs bērnus dzemdēt, un tavai iegribēšanai būs būt pēc tava vīra, un viņam būs pār tevi valdīt.BSBBSB: To the woman He said: “I will sharply increase your pain in childbirth; in pain you will bring forth children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.”
17. 17GLKUn uz Ādamu Viņš sacīja: tāpēc ka tu esi klausījis savas sievas balsij un ēdis no tā koka, par ko Es tev pavēlēju sacīdams, tev nebūs no tā ēst, - nolādēta lai ir zeme tevis dēļ, ar mokām tev no tās būs uzturēties visu savu mūžu.BSBBSB: And to Adam He said: “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat, cursed is the ground because of you; through toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.
18. 18GLKUn ērkšķus un dadžus tā tev izdos, un tev būs ēst lauka augļus.BSBBSB: Both thorns and thistles it will yield for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.
19. 19GLKAr sava vaiga sviedriem tev būs maizi ēst, tiekams tu atkal topi par zemi, no kā tu esi ņemts, jo tu esi no pīšļiem un tev būs atkal palikt par pīšļiem.BSBBSB: By the sweat of your brow you will eat your bread, until you return to the ground—because out of it were you taken. For dust you are, and to dust you shall return.”
20. 20GLKUn Ādams nosauca savas sievas vārdu Ieva, tāpēc ka tā ir visu dzīvo māte.BSBBSB: And Adam named his wife Eve, because she would be the mother of all the living.
21. 21GLKUn Dievs Tas Kungs taisīja Ādamam un viņa sievai uzvalkus no ādām un tiem tos apvilka.BSBBSB: And the LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and He clothed them.
22. 22GLKUn Dievs Tas Kungs sacīja: redzi, cilvēks ir tapis kā viens no mums, atzīdams labu un ļaunu, un nu, lai tas savu roku neizstiepj un neņem arī no tā dzīvības koka un neēd un nedzīvo mūžīgi, -BSBBSB: Then the LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil. And now, lest he reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever...”
23. 23GLKTad Dievs Tas Kungs to izdzina no Ēdenes dārza, lai tas to zemi strādātu, no kā bija ņemts.BSBBSB: Therefore the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.
24. 24GLKUn Viņš izmeta cilvēku un lika Ēdenes dārzam pret rītiem ķerubus un cērtama zobena liesmu, lai sargātu ceļu uz dzīvības koku.BSBBSB: So He drove out the man and stationed cherubim on the east side of the Garden of Eden, along with a whirling sword of flame to guard the way to the tree of life.
