19. 19PBBRSa' ani da gat'n nulis, "Iko' aok ngancur hikmat sok da bijaksana, ge' ayo sok da pintar, ayo sok da pane, Iko' aok nolak'a."BSBBSB: For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”
20. 20PBBRKadumelah sok da bijak? Kadumelah ahli Taurat? Kadumelah ahli debat zaman diah? Inyalah Jabata ngalaka umas da baga hikmat dunia?BSBBSB: Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
21. 21PBBRBarang ka sadat'n hikmat Jabata, dunia nabo hukmat'a kati nganal Jabata, maka Jabata bakanan nabo da baga da nyarita Injil ya' nyalamat da pacaya.BSBBSB: For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know Him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.
22. 22PBBRSa', ayo-sok Yahudi mahi tande-tande ge' ayo-sok Yunani najo hikmat.BSBBSB: Jews demand signs and Greeks search for wisdom,

25. 25PBBRBarang da baga uimpat'n Jabata diu ta labih bijaksana daripada talino, ge' da lamah umpat'n Jabata diu ta labih kuat daripada talino.BSBBSB: For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength.
26. 26PBBRIlelah kaadaanmu' sa' imu' gat'n maba, Ayo-age, kati karah da bijaksana manurut dagin, kati karah da bakuasa, kati karah da terpandang,BSBBSB: Brothers, consider the time of your calling: Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were powerful; not many were of noble birth.
27. 27PBBRTapi Jabata ngalaka milih da baga umpat'n dunia ya' manyangun da bijaksana, ge' Jabata milih jai da lamah umpat'n dunia ya' manyangun da kuat.BSBBSB: But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
28. 28PBBRGe', Jabata milih da kati terpandang umpat'n dunia ge' da gat'n pandang rendah, bahkan hal-hal da kati barati, ya' mangkilang hal-hal da barati,BSBBSB: He chose the lowly and despised things of the world, and the things that are not, to nullify the things that are,
29. 29PBBRSupaya satiap talino kati kaat'n bamagah ka tura Jabata.BSBBSB: so that no one may boast in His presence.
30. 30PBBRSa' karna Ini', imu' ani ka sadat'n Yesus Kristus, da ya' ite jadi hikmat, dataman, kakudusan, ge' panabusan umpat'n Jabata,BSBBSB: It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God: our righteousness, holiness, and redemption.
31. 31PBBRSupaya ulah da gat'n nulis, "kate'a sok da mamegahkan adup'a. Bamegah ka sadat'n Tuhan."BSBBSB: Therefore, as it is written: “Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.”
