3. 2LSVand we have known that the judgment of God is according to truth, on those practicing such things.BSBBSB: And we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.
4. 3LSVAnd do you think this, O man, who are judging those who such things are practicing, and are doing them, that you will escape the judgment of God?BSBBSB: So when you, O man, pass judgment on others, yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?
5. 4LSVOr the riches of His goodness, and forbearance, and long-suffering, do you despise, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to conversion?BSBBSB: Or do you disregard the riches of His kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you to repentance?
6. 5LSVBut according to your hardness and impenitent heart, you treasure up wrath to yourself in the day of wrath and of the revelation of the righteous judgment of God,BSBBSB: But because of your hard and unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.

12. 11LSVFor there is no favor by appearance with God,BSBBSB: For God does not show favoritism.
13. 12LSVfor as many as sinned without law, will also perish without law, and as many as sinned in law, through law will be judged,BSBBSB: All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.
14. 13LSVfor not the hearers of the Law are righteous before God, but the doers of the Law will be declared righteous.BSBBSB: For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but it is the doers of the law who will be declared righteous.
15. 14LSVFor when nations that have no law, by nature may do the things of the Law, these not having a law—to themselves are a law,BSBBSB: Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law.

19. 17LSVBehold, you are named a Jew, and rest on the Law, and boast in God,BSBBSB: Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and boast in God;
20. 18LSVand know the will, and approve the distinctions, being instructed out of the Law,BSBBSB: if you know His will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law;
21. 19LSVand have confidence that you yourself are a leader of blind ones, a light of those in darkness,BSBBSB: if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those in darkness,
22. 20LSVa corrector of foolish ones, a teacher of babies, having the form of the knowledge and of the truth in the Law.BSBBSB: an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of infants, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth—
23. 21LSVYou, then, who are teaching another, do you not teach yourself?BSBBSB: you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?
24. 22LSVYou who are preaching not to steal, do you steal? You who are saying not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who are abhorring the idols, do you rob temples?BSBBSB: You who forbid adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?
25. 23LSVYou who boast in the Law, through the transgression of the Law do you dishonor God?BSBBSB: You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?
26. 24LSVFor evil is spoken of the Name of God among the nations because of you, according as it has been written.BSBBSB: As it is written: “God’s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.”
27. 25LSVFor circumcision, indeed, profits, if you may practice law, but if you may be a transgressor of law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.BSBBSB: Circumcision has value if you observe the law, but if you break the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.
28. 26LSVIf, therefore, the uncircumcision may keep the righteousness of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be reckoned for circumcision?BSBBSB: If a man who is not circumcised keeps the requirements of the law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded as circumcision?
29. 27LSVAnd the uncircumcision, by nature, fulfilling the Law, will judge you who, through letter and circumcision, are a transgressor of law.BSBBSB: The one who is physically uncircumcised yet keeps the law will condemn you who, even though you have the written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.
30. 28LSVFor he is not a Jew who is so outwardly, neither is circumcision that which is outward in flesh;BSBBSB: A man is not a Jew because he is one outwardly, nor is circumcision only outward and physical.
