1. 1LUG“Tosaasaanyanga ŋŋambo. Teweegattanga na muntu mubi, ng’owa obujulirwa obw’obulimba bulyoke bumuyambe.BSBBSB: “You shall not spread a false report. Do not join the wicked by being a malicious witness.
2. 2LUG“Tokolagananga na kibiina ky’omanyi nga bye kiriko bikyamu. Bw’obanga owa obujulirwa mu musango, tokkirizanga kusikibwa kibiina ne kikuweesa obujulizi obw’obulimba nga weekubira ku ludda lwe kiriko;BSBBSB: You shall not follow the crowd in wrongdoing. When you testify in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd.
3. 3LUGera towanga bujulirwa bukyamu oyambe omuntu yenna olwokubanga mwavu.BSBBSB: And do not show favoritism to a poor man in his lawsuit.
4. 4LUG“Bw’osanganga ente y’omulabe wo, oba endogoyi ye, ng’ebuzze ogimuddizangayo eka.BSBBSB: If you encounter your enemy’s stray ox or donkey, you must return it to him.
5. 5LUGBw’olabanga endogoyi y’omuntu atakwagala, ng’omugugu gugisudde wansi, togirekanga, naye omuyambangako okugiyimusa.BSBBSB: If you see the donkey of one who hates you fallen under its load, do not leave it there; you must help him with it.
6. 6LUG“Tolemanga kusalirawo muntu nsonga ze mu bwenkanya, olwokubanga mwavu.BSBBSB: You shall not deny justice to the poor in their lawsuits.
7. 7LUGTeweeyingizanga mu nsonga za bulimba, era tottanga muntu atalina kibi oba atazzizza musango, kubanga aliko omusango sigenda kumwejjeereza.BSBBSB: Stay far away from a false accusation. Do not kill the innocent or the just, for I will not acquit the guilty.
8. 8LUG“Tolyanga nguzi, kubanga enguzi eziba omuntu amaaso n’ekyamya n’abatuukirivu.BSBBSB: Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see and twists the words of the righteous.
9. 9LUG“Temuwalagganyanga munnaggwanga, kubanga mmwe bennyini mumanyi nga bwe kiri okuba bannaggwanga, kubanga mwali bannaggwanga mu nsi y’e Misiri.BSBBSB: Do not oppress a foreign resident, since you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners; for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
10. 10LUG“Mu myaka omukaaga osigirangamu emmere yo mu nnimiro zo era n’ogikungula;BSBBSB: For six years you are to sow your land and gather its produce,
11. 11LUGnaye mu mwaka ogw’omusanvu ettaka olirekanga ne liwummula, abaavu mu mmwe basobolenga okulya ku mmere okuva mu bimererezi; eneefikkangawo ebisolo by’omu nsiko binaagiryanga. Era bw’otyo bw’onookolanga n’ennimiro zo ez’emizabbibu n’ez’emizeeyituuni.BSBBSB: but in the seventh year you must let it rest and lie fallow, so that the poor among your people may eat from the field and the wild animals may consume what they leave. Do the same with your vineyard and olive grove.
12. 12LUG“Mu nnaku omukaaga mw’okoleranga emirimu gyo, naye ku lunaku olw’omusanvu tokolanga, ente yo n’endogoyi yo ziryoke zisobole okuwummulako; ne mutabani w’omuweereza wo, ne munnaggwanga ali mu maka go bawummuleko baddemu endasi.BSBBSB: For six days you are to do your work, but on the seventh day you must cease, so that your ox and your donkey may rest and the son of your maidservant may be refreshed, as well as the foreign resident.
13. 13LUG“Weegenderezanga n’okolanga byonna bye nkulagidde. Bakatonda abalala toboogerangako, era amannya gaabwe tegayitanga mu kamwa ko.BSBBSB: Pay close attention to everything I have said to you. You must not invoke the names of other gods; they must not be heard on your lips.
14. 14LUG“Ononkoleranga embaga emirundi esatu buli mwaka.BSBBSB: Three times a year you are to celebrate a feast to Me.
15. 15LUG“Onookolanga Embaga ey’Emigaati Egitali Mizimbulukuse. Onoolyanga omugaati ogutaliimu kizimbulukusa okumala ennaku musanvu, nga bwe nakulagira. Kino okikolanga mu kiseera ekyategekebwa, mu mwezi gwa Abibu, kubanga mu mwezi ogwo mwe waviira mu nsi y’e Misiri. “Tewabangawo ajja gye ndi engalo ensa.BSBBSB: You are to keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread as I commanded you: At the appointed time in the month of Abib you are to eat unleavened bread for seven days, because that was the month you came out of Egypt. No one may appear before Me empty-handed.
16. 16LUG“Onookolanga Embaga ey’Amakungula ey’ebibala ebibereberye eby’ebirime bye wasiga mu nnimiro yo. “Onookolanga Embaga ey’Amayingiza buli nkomerero ya mwaka, bw’onookuŋŋaanyanga ebibala by’omu nnimiro, n’obiyingiza.BSBBSB: You are also to keep the Feast of Harvest with the firstfruits of the produce from what you sow in the field. And keep the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather your produce from the field.
17. 17LUG“Abasajja bonna banajjanga awali Mukama Katonda emirundi egyo esatu buli mwaka.BSBBSB: Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Lord GOD.
18. 18LUG“Temuwangayo kintu kyonna gye ndi ekirimu ekizimbulukusa nga mundeetedde ssaddaaka erimu omusaayi; n’amasavu aga ssaddaaka yange tegasulangawo kutuusa nkeera.BSBBSB: You must not offer the blood of My sacrifices with anything leavened, nor may the fat of My feast remain until morning.
19. 19LUG“Ebibala ebisinga obulungi mu ebyo ebisoose okuva mu ttaka lyo obitwalanga mu nnyumba ya Mukama Katonda wo. Tofumbanga akaana k’embuzi mu mata ga nnyina waako.BSBBSB: Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the LORD your God. You must not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.
20. 20LUG“Laba, ntuma malayika akukulembere, akutuuse bulungi mu kifo kye nteeseteese.BSBBSB: Behold, I am sending an angel before you to protect you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.
21. 21LUGOmuwulirizanga, era ogonderanga by’agamba. Tomujeemeranga; bw’olijeema tagenda kukusonyiwa, kubanga aliba akola mu Linnya lyange.BSBBSB: Pay attention to him and listen to his voice; do not defy him, for he will not forgive rebellion, since My Name is in him.
22. 22LUGNaye bw’onoowulirizanga eddoboozi lye, n’okola nga bwe ŋŋamba, kale nnaakyawanga abakukyawa, n’abalabe bo banaabanga balabe bange.BSBBSB: But if you will listen carefully to his voice and do everything I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and a foe to your foes.
23. 23LUGMalayika wange alikwesooka mu maaso akukulemberenga akutuuse mu nsi y’Abamoli, ne mu y’Abakiiti, ne mu y’Abaperezi, ne mu y’Abakanani, ne mu y’Abakiivi, ne mu y’Abayebusi, nange ndibazikiririza ddala.BSBBSB: For My angel will go before you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites, and I will annihilate them.
24. 24LUGTovuunamiranga bakatonda baabwe, so tobaweerezanga, era tokwatanga mpisa zaabwe, wabula obabetetaranga ddala, n’omenyaamenya n’empagi zaabwe.BSBBSB: You must not bow down to their gods or serve them or follow their practices. Instead, you are to demolish them and smash their sacred stones to pieces.
25. 25LUGOweerezanga Mukama Katonda wo yekka, emmere yo n’amazzi go ndyoke mbiwe omukisa. Ndiggyawo endwadde mu mmwe;BSBBSB: So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take away sickness from among you.
26. 26LUGtewaabengawo mugumba wadde avaamu olubuto. Ennaku z’obulamu bwo zonna nnaazituukirizanga.BSBBSB: No woman in your land will miscarry or be barren; I will fulfill the number of your days.
27. 27LUG“Nnaasindikanga ekikangabwa mu mawanga agaagala okukwolekera, ne ntabulatabula abo bonna abanaakwegezangamu, era abalabe bo nnaabafuumuulanga emisinde.BSBBSB: I will send My terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn and run.
28. 28LUGNdisindika ennumba ne zikukulembera, ne zigoba Abakiivi, n’Abakanani, n’Abakiiti ne bakuviira mu kkubo lyo.BSBBSB: I will send the hornet before you to drive the Hivites and Canaanites and Hittites out of your way.
29. 29LUGNaye mu nsi omwo siribagobamu mu mwaka gumu, ebikande bireme kusukkirira, n’ensolo ez’omu nsiko ne zaala ne zibayitirira obungi.BSBBSB: I will not drive them out before you in a single year; otherwise the land would become desolate and wild animals would multiply against you.
30. 30LUGNzijanga kubagobamu mpola mpola, okutuusa nga mwaze ne mulyoka mulya ensi eyo.BSBBSB: Little by little I will drive them out ahead of you, until you become fruitful and possess the land.
31. 31LUG“Ndisala ensalo zammwe okuva ku Nnyanja Emyufu okutuuka ku Nnyanja y’Abafirisuuti, n’okuva ku ddungu okutuuka ku Mugga Fulaati. Abantu b’omu nsi omwo ndibabawa, ne mubagobamu.BSBBSB: And I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the desert to the Euphrates. For I will deliver the inhabitants into your hand, and you will drive them out before you.
32. 32LUGTemukolanga nabo ndagaano, wadde ne bakatonda baabwe.BSBBSB: You shall make no covenant with them or with their gods.
33. 33LUGTemubakkirizanga kubeera mu nsi yammwe, tebalwa kubanyoomesa biragiro byange; kubanga singa muweereza bakatonda baabwe muliba mugudde mu mutego.”BSBBSB: They must not remain in your land, lest they cause you to sin against Me. For if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.”
