2. 2LUGYesu awamu n’abayigirizwa be nabo baayitibwa.BSBBSB: and Jesus and His disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
3. 3LUGWayini bwe yaggwaawo, nnyina Yesu n’ajja gy’ali n’amugamba nti, “Tebakyalina wayini.”BSBBSB: When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to Him, “They have no more wine.”
4. 4LUGYesu n’amuddamu nti, “Maama ndeka, kubanga ekiseera kyange tekinnatuuka.”BSBBSB: “Woman, what is that to you and to Me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
5. 5LUGNnyina Yesu n’agamba abaweereza nti, “Kyonna ky’abagamba kye muba mukola.”BSBBSB: His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.”
6. 6LUGWaaliwo amasuwa amanene mukaaga agaategekebwa olw’omukolo gw’Abayudaaya ogw’okwetukuza, buli limu nga lirimu lita kikumi oba kikumi mu ataano.BSBBSB: Now six stone water jars had been set there for the Jewish rites of purification. Each could hold from twenty to thirty gallons.

He did not know where it was from, but the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside
10. 10LUGn’amugamba nti, “Bulijjo omuntu asooka kugabula wayini omuka, n’oluvannyuma ng’abagenyi be banywedde nnyo, tebakyafaayo olwo n’alyoka agabula ogutali muka nnyo. Naye ggwe wayini omuka gw’osembezzaayo!”BSBBSB: and said, “Everyone serves the fine wine first, and then the cheap wine after the guests are drunk. But you have saved the fine wine until now!”

15. 15LUGAwo Yesu n’addira emiguwa n’agifunyaafunya ne giba ng’embooko n’agobawo endiga n’ente, n’asaasaanya n’ensimbi ez’abaali bawaanyisa, n’avuunika n’emmeeza zaabwe.BSBBSB: So He made a whip out of cords and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle. He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
16. 16LUGN’akyukira abaali batunda amayiba n’abagamba nti, “Bino mubiggye wo. Temufuula Nnyumba ya Kitange katale.”BSBBSB: To those selling doves He said, “Get these out of here! How dare you turn My Father’s house into a marketplace!”
17. 17LUGAwo abayigirizwa ne bajjukira Ekyawandiikibwa ekigamba nti, “Obuggya bw’Ennyumba yo, Ayi Mukama, bulindya.”BSBBSB: His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for Your house will consume Me.”
18. 18LUGAwo Abayudaaya ne bamubuuza nti, “Kabonero ki k’otulaga nti olina obuyinza okukola bino?”BSBBSB: On account of this, the Jews demanded, “What sign can You show us to prove Your authority to do these things?”
19. 19LUGYesu kwe kuddamu nti, “Mumenyeewo Yeekaalu eno ngizzeewo mu nnaku ssatu.”BSBBSB: Jesus answered, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up again.”
20. 20LUGNe bamuddamu nti, “Kiki ky’otegeeza? Yeekaalu eno yatwalira ddala emyaka amakumi ana mu mukaaga okuzimba oyinza otya okugizimbira ennaku essatu?”BSBBSB: “This temple took forty-six years to build,” the Jews replied, “and You are going to raise it up in three days?”
21. 21LUGKyokka Yeekaalu gye yali ayogerako gwe mubiri gwe.BSBBSB: But Jesus was speaking about the temple of His body.
22. 22LUGYesu bwe yamala okuzuukira abayigirizwa ne bajjukira nti kino kye yali ayogerako. Ne bakkiriza ebyawandiikibwa n’ebigambo Yesu bye yayogerako.BSBBSB: After He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this. Then they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.
23. 23LUGAwo Yesu bwe yali mu Yerusaalemi mu kiseera eky’Embaga ey’Okuyitako, bangi baalaba obubonero bwe yali akola ne bakkiriza erinnya lye.BSBBSB: While He was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many people saw the signs He was doing and believed in His name.
