34Ddala ddala mbagamba nti, omulembe guno teguliggwaawo okutuusa ng’ebintu ebyo byonna bituukiridde.Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened.

35Eggulu n’ensi biriggwaawo naye ebigambo byange tebiriggwaawo.”Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.

36“Naye eby’olunaku olwo wadde essaawa tewali n’omu abimanyi, newaakubadde bamalayika ab’omu ggulu nabo tebakimanyi, wadde Omwana, okuggyako Kitaffe yekka.No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

37Kubanga nga bwe kyali mu biseera bya Nuuwa, okujja kw’Omwana w’Omuntu nakwo bwe kuliba.As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.

38Nga bwe kyali mu biseera by’amataba, abantu nga balya nga banywa, nga bawasa n’abalala nga bafumbirwa, olunaku ne lutuuka Nuuwa n’ayingira mu lyato,For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark.

42“Noolwekyo mubeere beetegefu, kubanga olunaku Mukama wammwe lw’aliddirako temulumanyi.Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day on which your Lord will come.

43Naye mutegeere kino: ssinga ssemaka amanya essaawa omubbi w’anaayingirira okumenya ennyumba ye, yandisigadde ng’atunula, n’ataganya mubbi kumuyingirira.But understand this: If the homeowner had known in which watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.

44Noolwekyo nammwe bwe mutyo mweteeketeeke, kubanga Omwana w’omuntu alijjira mu kiseera kye mutamulowoolezaamu.”For this reason, you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour you do not expect.

45“Kale aliwa omuddu omugezi era omwesigwa mukama we gwe yawa obuvunaanyizibwa okulabirira abaddu ab’omu maka ge, n’okubawa emmere mu kiseera ekituufu?Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of his household, to give the others their food at the proper time?

46Alina omukisa omuddu oyo, mukama we gw’alisanga ng’akola bw’atyo.Blessed is that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.

47Ddala ddala mbagamba nti, alimukwasa ebintu bye byonna.Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

48Naye obanga omuddu omubi bw’agamba mu mutima gwe nti, ‘Mukama wange tajja kudda mangu,’But suppose that servant is wicked and says in his heart, ‘My master will be away a long time.’

49n’adda ku baddu banne, n’abakuba, n’alya, n’anywa n’abatamiivu, okutuusa lw’alidda.And he begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.

50Mukama w’omuddu oyo n’akomawo ku lunaku lw’atamusuubidde ne mu kiseera ky’atamanyi,The master of that servant will come on a day he does not expect and at an hour he does not anticipate.
