1येशू मंदिरातून बाहेर पडले व चालत असता त्यांचे शिष्य त्यांच्याकडे आले आणि त्यांचे लक्ष मंदिराच्या इमारतींकडे वेधले.As Jesus left the temple and was walking away, His disciples came up to Him to point out its buildings.

2येशू त्यांना म्हणाले, “हे सर्व तुम्ही आता पाहत आहात ना? मी तुम्हाला खचित सांगतो की, एका दगडावर दुसरा दगड राहणार नाही. प्रत्येक दगड खाली पडेल.”“Do you see all these things?” He replied. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

3येशू मंदिराच्या समोर असलेल्या जैतुनाच्या डोंगरावर बसले असताना, शिष्य त्यांच्याकडे एकांतात आले आणि विचारले, “या घटना केव्हा घडतील आणि तुमच्या येण्याचे आणि या युगाच्या समाप्तीची चिन्हे काय असतील हे आम्हाला सांगा.”While Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”

5कारण अनेकजण माझ्या नावाने येतील आणि ‘मी ख्रिस्त आहे,’ असा दावा करतील आणि पुष्कळांना फसवतील.For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

6तुम्ही लढायासंबंधी ऐकाल आणि लढायांच्या अफवा ऐकाल, पण त्यामुळे घाबरू नका. कारण या गोष्टी घडल्याच पाहिजेत, पण शेवट अजूनही यावयाचा आहे.You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come.

7कारण राष्ट्रांविरुद्ध राष्ट्र व राज्याविरुद्ध राज्य उठतील. वेगवेगळ्या ठिकाणी भूकंप होतील, दुष्काळही पडतील.Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

8या घटना तर प्रसूती वेदनांची सुरुवात आहेत.All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9“छळ करण्यासाठी आणि जिवे मारण्याकरिता तुम्हाला धरून दिले जाईल आणि माझ्यामुळे सर्व राष्ट्रे तुमचा द्वेष करतील.Then they will deliver you over to be persecuted and killed, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.

10त्यावेळी पुष्कळजण विश्वासापासून दूर जातील व एकमेकांचा द्वेष करतील.At that time many will fall away and will betray and hate one another,

11अनेक खोटे संदेष्टे उदयास येतील आणि पुष्कळांना फसवतील.and many false prophets will arise and deceive many.

12दुष्टता वाढेल व त्यामुळे पुष्कळांची प्रीती थंडावेल.Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.

13परंतु जो शेवटपर्यंत स्थिर राहील त्याचे मात्र तारण होईल.But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.

14सर्व जगामध्ये साक्ष म्हणून राज्याच्या शुभवार्तेचा प्रचार सर्व राष्ट्रांमध्ये झाला पाहिजे आणि मगच शेवट होईल.And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

15“संदेष्टा दानीएलाने सांगितलेला ‘ओसाडीचा अमंगळ पदार्थ’ पवित्रस्थानी उभा असलेला तुम्ही पाहाल—वाचकाने हे समजून घ्यावे—So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by the prophet Daniel (let the reader understand),

16त्यावेळी जे यहूदीयात आहेत त्यांनी डोंगरांकडे पळून जावे.then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

17जो कोणी घराच्या छपरांवर असेल, त्याने घरातून काही आणण्याकरिता खाली उतरू नये.Let no one on the housetop come down to retrieve anything from his house.

18जो शेतात असेल, त्याने आपला अंगरखा नेण्यासाठी परत जाऊ नये.And let no one in the field return for his cloak.

19गर्भवती आणि स्तनपान करणाऱ्या स्त्रियांसाठी तर तो काळ किती क्लेशाचा असेल!How miserable those days will be for pregnant and nursing mothers!

20तुमच्या पलायनाचा काळ हिवाळ्यात किंवा शब्बाथ दिवशी येऊ नये म्हणून प्रार्थना करा.Pray that your flight will not occur in the winter or on the Sabbath.

21कारण ते दिवस इतके भयानक असतील की, परमेश्वराने पृथ्वी निर्माण केल्यापासून आजपर्यंत असे दिवस आले नाहीत किंवा पुढेही येणार नाहीत.For at that time there will be great tribulation, unseen from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be seen again.

22“ते दिवस जर कमी केले गेले नसते, तर कोणी वाचले नसते. तरी केवळ निवडलेल्या लोकांसाठी ते दिवस कमी केले जातील.If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short.

23त्या काळात ‘येथे ख्रिस्त आहे,’ किंवा ‘पाहा, तो तिथे आहे,’ असे जर कोणी तुम्हाला सांगितले, तर अजिबात विश्वास ठेवू नका.At that time, if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is!’ do not believe it.

24कारण खोटे ख्रिस्त आणि खोटे संदेष्टे उदय पावतील आणि मोठी चिन्हे व अद्भुते करून, साधेल तर, निवडलेल्या लोकांनाही फसवतील.For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive even the elect, if that were possible.

25पाहा मी तुम्हाला आधीच सांगून ठेवलेले आहे.See, I have told you in advance.

26“जर कोणी तुम्हाला सांगेल, ‘तो तिथे रानात आहे,’ तर तिकडे जाऊ नका किंवा तो तिथे ‘आतील खोलीत आहे,’ तर विश्वास ठेवू नका.So if they tell you, ‘There He is, in the wilderness,’ do not go out, or, ‘Here He is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.

27कारण जशी वीज पूर्वेकडून निघते आणि पश्चिमेकडे प्रकाशतांना दिसते, तसाच प्रकारे मानवपुत्राचे आगमन होईल.For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

28जिथे मृतदेह आहे, तिथे गिधाडे जमतील.Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

29“क्लेशांच्या काळाची समाप्ती झाल्यावर “ ‘त्या दिवसात, सूर्य अंधकारमय होईल, आणि चंद्र आपला प्रकाश देणार नाही; आकाशातून तारे गळून पडतील, आणि आकाशमंडळ डळमळेल.’Immediately after the tribulation of those days: ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’

30“मानवपुत्राच्या आगमनाचे चिन्ह आकाशात दिसेल आणि पृथ्वीवरील सर्व राष्ट्रे मोठा आक्रोश करतील. ते मानवपुत्राला आकाशात मेघारूढ होऊन पराक्रमाने परत येत असलेले पाहतील.At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31तो कर्ण्यांच्या महानादाबरोबर आकाशांच्या या टोकापासून दुसर्या टोकापर्यंत आणि चारही दिशेकडून त्याच्या निवडलेल्या लोकांना एकत्र करण्यासाठी आपल्या दूतांस पाठवेल.And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

32“आता अंजिराच्या झाडापासून हा बोध घ्या व शिका. त्या झाडाच्या डाहळ्या कोवळ्या झाल्या आणि त्यांना पालवी फुटू लागली म्हणजे उन्हाळा जवळ आला आहे, हे तुम्ही ओळखता.Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its branches become tender and sprout leaves, you know that summer is near.

33या सर्व घटना घडत असताना तुम्ही पाहाल, तेव्हा ते अगदी जवळ, दारातच आहे हे समजून घ्या.So also, when you see all these things, you will know that He is near, right at the door.

34मी तुम्हाला निश्चित सांगतो की, या सर्वगोष्टी घडून आल्याशिवाय ही पिढी खात्रीने नाहीशी होणार नाही.Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened.

35आकाश व पृथ्वी नाहीशी होतील, पण माझी वचने नाहीशी होणार नाहीत.Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.

36“तरीपण त्या दिवसाबद्दल किंवा वेळेबद्दल कोणालाही माहीत नाही, म्हणजे स्वर्गातील दूतांना नाही, पुत्रालाही नाही, ते फक्त पित्यालाच ठाऊक आहे.No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

37जसे नोआहच्या दिवसात घडत होते, तसेच मानवपुत्र येण्याच्या वेळी होईल.As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.

38जलप्रलय येण्यापूर्वी, नोआह प्रत्यक्ष तारवात गेला, त्या दिवसापर्यंत लोक खातपीत होते, लग्न करून घेत होते, लग्न करून देत होते.For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark.

39आपले काय होणार आहे हे त्यांना माहीत नव्हते, मग एकाएकी जलप्रलय आला आणि त्या सर्वांनाच जलसमाधी मिळाली. मानवपुत्र परत येईल त्यावेळीही अगदी असेच होईल.And they were oblivious until the flood came and swept them all away. So will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.

40शेतात काम करीत असलेल्या दोन मनुष्यांपैकी एक घेतला जाईल व दुसरा ठेवला जाईल.Two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.

41जात्यावर दळीत बसलेल्या दोन स्त्रियांपैकी एकीला घेतले जाईल व दुसरीला ठेवले जाईल.Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.

42“यास्तव तुम्ही जागृत राहा, कारण तुमच्या प्रभूच्या आगमनाचा दिवस कोणता, हे तुम्हाला ठाऊक नाही.Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day on which your Lord will come.

43पण एक गोष्ट नीट समजून घ्या की चोर रात्रीच्या कोणत्या घटकेला येणार ती घरधन्याला आधी समजली असती, तर त्याने पहारा ठेवला असता आणि आपले घर फोडू दिले नसते.But understand this: If the homeowner had known in which watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.

44म्हणून तुम्ही सदैव तयारीत राहा. कारण मानवपुत्र तुम्हाला कल्पना नसेल अशा घटकेला येईल.For this reason, you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour you do not expect.

45“तुमच्यामध्ये प्रामाणिक व सुज्ञ कारभारी कोण आहे? ज्याच्यावर घरधनी त्याच्या कुटुंबीयांची देखभाल करण्याचे व अन्नाचे योग्य वेळी वाटप करण्याचे काम सोपवितो.Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of his household, to give the others their food at the proper time?

46धनी येईल, तेव्हा जो दास आपली कामगिरी बजावीत असताना त्याला आढळेल, तो धन्य होय.Blessed is that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.

47मी तुम्हाला निश्चित सांगतो की तो धनी आपल्या सर्व मालमत्तेवर त्याची नेमणूक करेल.Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

48परंतु समजा तो दुष्ट दास आपल्या मनात म्हणेल, ‘माझा धनी येण्यास पुष्कळ विलंब होत आहे,’But suppose that servant is wicked and says in his heart, ‘My master will be away a long time.’

49आणि तो सोबतीच्या दासांना मारहाण करू लागेल आणि मद्यपीं बरोबर खाऊ आणि पिऊ लागेल.And he begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.

50तर त्या दासाचा धनी, तो अपेक्षा करीत नाही आणि तो सावध नाही अशा घटकेला येईल.The master of that servant will come on a day he does not expect and at an hour he does not anticipate.

51त्या दासाचे तुकडे करेल व ढोंग्यांबरोबर जिथे रडणे व दातखाणे होईल तिथे त्याला वाटा देईल.Then he will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
