5. 5MARC“तुमच्या देशातील सर्व लोकांना आणि याजकांना हा प्रश्न विचार, ‘गेली सत्तर वर्षे तुम्ही पाचव्या आणि सातव्या महिन्यात जे उपवास आणि शोक करीत होता, ते खरोखर माझ्यासाठी उपवास करत होते काय?BSBBSB: “Ask all the people of the land and the priests, ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months for these seventy years, was it really for Me that you fasted?

7. 7MARCज्यावेळी यरुशलेम आणि तिच्या सभोवतीची उपनगरात शांती व समृद्ध होती आणि नेगेव व दक्षिणेकडील तळवटीच्या प्रदेशातील लोकांचा तिथे जम बसला होता, त्यावेळीच याहवेहनी संदेष्ट्यांद्वारे लोकांना इशारा दिला नव्हता का?’ ”BSBBSB: Are these not the words that the LORD proclaimed through the earlier prophets, when Jerusalem and its surrounding towns were populous and prosperous, and the Negev and the foothills were inhabited?’”
8. 8MARCजखर्याहला याहवेहकडून पुन्हा संदेश आला:BSBBSB: Then the word of the LORD came to Zechariah, saying,
9. 9MARC“सर्वसमर्थ याहवेह असे म्हणतात: ‘निष्पक्ष न्यायदान करा; एकमेकांशी करुणेने व दयेने वागा.BSBBSB: “This is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Administer true justice. Show loving devotion and compassion to one another.
10. 10MARCविधवा व अनाथ, परदेशीय व गरीब लोक यांच्यावर जुलूम करू नका. तसेच एकमेकांविरुद्ध दुष्ट कट रचू नका.’BSBBSB: Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. And do not plot evil in your hearts against one another.’
11. 11MARC“पण त्यांनी माझ्या संदेशाकडे लक्ष देण्याचे नाकारले; त्यांनी हट्टीपणाने माझ्याकडे पाठ केली व आपल्या कानात बोटे घातली.BSBBSB: But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder; they stopped up their ears from hearing.
12. 12MARCत्यांनी आपली अंतःकरणे गारगोटीसारखी कठीण केली आणि सर्वसमर्थ याहवेहने आरंभीच्या संदेष्ट्यांना आपल्या आत्म्याने प्रेरित करून त्यांच्याद्वारे दिलेल्या आज्ञा किंवा वचने ऐकण्याचे त्यांनी नाकारले. म्हणूनच याहवेहला त्यांच्यावर अत्यंत क्रोध आला.BSBBSB: They made their hearts like flint and would not listen to the law or to the words that the LORD of Hosts had sent by His Spirit through the earlier prophets. Therefore great anger came from the LORD of Hosts.

14. 14MARCचक्रीवादळाप्रमाणे मी त्यांची दूरदूरच्या देशांत पांगापांग केली. त्यांनी मागे सोडलेला त्यांचा देश असा ओसाड झाला, की त्यातून कोणी प्रवासदेखील करेनासे झाले. एकेकाळचा तो रमणीय देश आता त्यांनी निर्जन केला.’ ”BSBBSB: But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations that they had not known, and the land was left desolate behind them so that no one could come or go. Thus they turned the pleasant land into a desolation.”
