33Sǝ ɓǝ̀ kǝ aɓwana mǝnana à kǝ pakka wun pepè, à nda wun nǝ̀ pakkia wia mǝɓoarne ka, ya tsǝkbu nda wun nǝ̀ kùmô aɓalǝi? Ko nggearǝ <<amǝ'cauɓikea>> ka anggo sǝ à kǝ pa.If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do the same.

34Sǝ ɓǝ̀ aɓwana mǝnana wu pākia wia tangna ka, à nda kǝ amǝnana wu kǝ tsǝkɓalǝ wun arǝia ama à nda à nǝ̀ gandǝ mbwe wun tangnê ka, ya tsǝkbu nda wun nǝ̀ kùmô aɓalǝi? Ko nggearǝ <<amǝ'cauɓikea>> ka à kǝ peâ <<amǝ'cauɓikea>> tangna acemǝnana ɓǝà yi mbwea kat gìr mǝnana à pa ka.And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full.

39Yesu nyare nea wia mǝnia yì kanicau ka: Nte nǝ̀ gandǝ bwalì nte gara le? Yia kǝm ngga à pà nǝ̀ kpa a tūli re?Jesus also told them a parable: “Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit?

40Mǝ'eaulǝki gìr ka kútí malǝm male ɗàng. Sǝ ɓwa mǝnana à kanǝnì wi gìr pepè ka, nǝ̀ pa kǝla malǝm male.A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher.

41Palang sǝ mǝsǝo ueo arǝ kǝkar mǝnana a mǝsǝ ɓio ka, sǝ a tsǝkiro arǝ gbǝlang nggun mǝnana a mò yì mǝsǝu ka ɗàng?Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye but fail to notice the beam in your own eye?

42Palang sǝ awu nǝ ne mǝ'eambo ama, <<Mǝ'eambǝam, came mǝ pyaupo kǝkar mǝnana a mǝsǝo ka,>> yi mǝnana a gandǝ sǝn gbǝlang nggun mana a mò yì mǝsǝu raka? We mǝ'swarki ɓamuru! Pusǝ gbǝlang nggun mǝnana a mǝsǝo ka peatu, sǝ a nǝ gandǝ sǝnban pepè mǝnana a nǝ pyau kǝkar mǝnana a mǝsǝ ɓio ka.How can you say, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while you yourself fail to see the beam in your own eye? You hypocrite! First take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

43Nggun mǝɓoarne pà nǝ̀ pusǝ ɓǝle mǝɓane ɗàng. Sǝ nggun mǝɓane pà nǝ̀ pusǝ ɓǝle mǝɓoarne gbal ɗàng.No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.

44Koya nggun ngga à kǝ súrǝì arǝ ɓǝle. Aɓwana kǝ tūki ɓǝla-vwari arǝ nggun-zwe ɗang, ko ɓǝla-nɓau aɓalǝa ankwarki ɗàng.For each tree is known by its own fruit. Indeed, figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor grapes from brambles.

45Ɓwa mǝɓoarne ka, mǝɓoarne mǝnana lùmsǝ ɓabumi ka, nda kǝ puro a kúni ka. Sǝ ɓwa mǝɓane ka kǝ pusǝ mǝɓane mǝnana lùmsǝ ɓabumi ka. Gìr mǝnana lùmsǝ ɓabum ɓwa ka, nda kǝ pur a kúni ka.The good man brings good things out of the good treasure of his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil treasure of his heart. For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.

46Ace mana sǝ wu kǝ tunǝam ama, <<Mǝtalabangŋo, Mǝtalabangŋo,>> sǝ wu kǝ pak gìr mǝnana ǝn bangga wun ngga ɗàng?Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ but do not do what I say?

47Ɓwa mǝnana kǝ yiu abanam, kǝ kwakikiri arǝ cau mem, sǝ kǝ tsǝi aɓa túró ka, mǝ nǝ lǝmdǝa wun lang sǝ ɓwe pa.I will show you what he is like who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them:

The torrent crashed against that house, and immediately it fell—and great was its destruction!”
