1. 1MKWNa kilumbu ya makumi zole na mosi ya ngonda ya nsambwadi, na mvula ya zole ya kintinu ya Daliyuse, Yave tumisaka dyaka mumbikudi Aze, na kwenda kuzabisa mambu ya yandiBSBBSB: On the twenty-first day of the seventh month, the word of the LORD came through Haggai the prophet, saying:
2. 2MKWna sika ya Zolobabele mfumu ya Yuda, yina kele mwana ya Salatyele, na sika ya nganga-Nzambi ya ntete Yeswa, mwana ya Yewosadake mpe na sika ya bayina nyonso katukaka na bundongo, samu na kuzabisa bawu ti:BSBBSB: “Speak to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and also to the remnant of the people. Ask them,
3. 3MKW«Nani na kati ya beno talaka wapi mutindu Yinzo yayi ya Yave vwandaka kitoko ya kulutila? Kasi ntangu yayi, wapi mutindu beno ke na kutala yawu? Yawu ke na kutalana kwandi ve mutindu kima ya mpamba na meso ya beno?BSBBSB: ‘Who is left among you who saw this house in its former glory? How does it look to you now? Does it not appear to you like nothing in comparison?’
4. 4MKWNi yawu yina, munu Yave ke na kutuba na beno mutindu yayi: Vwanda na kibakala, nge Zolobabele! Vwanda na kibakala, nge nganga-Nzambi ya ntete Yeswa, mwana ya Yewosadake! Beno vwanda na kibakala, beno bayina nyonso katukaka na bundongo! Beno kota na kisalu, samu ti mu kele na beno kintwadi. Ni munu Yave, Nzambi ya Binwani, me tuba yawu.BSBBSB: But now be strong, O Zerubbabel, declares the LORD. Be strong, O Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. And be strong, all you people of the land, declares the LORD. Work! For I am with you, declares the LORD of Hosts.
5. 5MKWMutindu kele Ngwisani yina mu salaka na beno ntangu beno basikaka na yinsi ya Ngipiti, mpe mutindu Mpeve ya munu kele na kati-kati ya beno, na yina, beno tala boma ve.BSBBSB: This is the promise I made to you when you came out of Egypt. And My Spirit remains among you; do not be afraid.”
6. 6MKWYa tsyelika, munu Yave, Nzambi ya Binwani ke na kutuba: Na mwa ntangu fyoti, mu ke ningisa zulu na ntoto, mubu mpe myongo.BSBBSB: For this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.
7. 7MKWMu ke ningisa bantu ya bayinsi ya nzenza. Bimvwama mingi ya bantu ya bayinsi ya nzenza ke kwiza awa mpe mu ke pesa dyaka Yinzo ya munu yayi kitoko ya kulutila. Ni munu Yave, Nzambi-Mpungu me tuba yawu.BSBBSB: I will shake all the nations, and they will come with all their treasures, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of Hosts.
8. 8MKWYa tsyelika, wolo na palata ya yinza ya muvimba kele ya munu. Ni munu Yave, Nzambi ya Binwani me tuba yawu.BSBBSB: The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, declares the LORD of Hosts.
9. 9MKWNa yina, kitoko ya Yinzo ya munu yayi ya malu-malu ke lutila kitoko ya Yinzo ya ntete. Mpe ni na kisika yayi mu ke pesa beno kizunu. Ni munu Yave, Nzambi ya Binwani me tuba yawu.»BSBBSB: The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former, says the LORD of Hosts. And in this place I will provide peace, declares the LORD of Hosts.”
10. 10MKWNa kilumbu ya makumi zole na yiya ya ngonda ya yivwa, na mvula ya zole ya kintinu ya Dalyuse, Yave zabisaka dyaka mambu ya yandi na sika ya mumbikudi Aze mutindu yayi:BSBBSB: On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to Haggai the prophet, saying,
11. 11MKW«Yave, Nzambi ya Binwani ke na kutuba: “Kwenda yufula banganga-Nzambi wapi mutindu ya kuzenga dyambu yayi:BSBBSB: “This is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Ask the priests for a ruling.
12. 12MKWKana muntu me kanga na nsongi ya kinkuti ya yandi mwa kitini ya musunya yina me katuka na munkayulu ya Longo, mpe kana ndambu ya kinkuti yina botana na dimpa, na bandunda, na malafu, na mafuta to na konso kima ya kudya, kima yina ya kudya ke kuma ya Longo?”» Banganga-Nzambi vutulaka: «Ve!»BSBBSB: If a man carries consecrated meat in the fold of his garment, and it touches bread, stew, wine, oil, or any other food, does that item become holy?’” “No,” replied the priests.
13. 13MKWAze yufulaka dyaka: «Kasi, kana muntu kele dyaka ve ya kuvedila samu ti yandi me simba mvumbi, mpe na manima kana yandi simba kima ya kudya, kima yango ke vwanda dyaka ve ya kuvedila?» Banganga-Nzambi vutulaka: «Ee, yawu ke vwanda dyaka ve ya kuvedila!»BSBBSB: So Haggai asked, “If one who is defiled by contact with a corpse touches any of these, does it become defiled?” “Yes, it becomes defiled,” the priests answered.
14. 14MKWNa yina Aze zabisaka bawu: «Beno kuwa mutindu Yave ke na kutuba: “Ni mutindu yayi mpe kele bantu ya yinsi yayi mpe bisalu nyonso yina bawu ke salaka. Minkayulu nyonso yina bawu ke pesaka munu ke vwandaka ve ya kuvedila.”»BSBBSB: Then Haggai replied, “So it is with this people and this nation before Me, declares the LORD, and so it is with every work of their hands; whatever they offer there is defiled.
15. 15MKWYave tubaka dyaka: «Ntangu yayi, beno tala mbote mambu yina ke salama kubanda bubu yayi. Ntete beno banda na kutunga dyaka Yinzo ya munu,BSBBSB: Now consider carefully from this day forward: Before one stone was placed on another in the temple of the LORD,
16. 16MKWwapi mambu beno vwandaka tala? Ntangu muntu vwandaka kwenda kubaka bakantini makumi zole ya bambuma ya faline na kisika ba ke bumbilaka bima, yandi vwandaka kuta kaka bakantini kumi. Ntangu muntu vwandaka kwenda kubaka balitele makumi tanu ya vinu na kati ya kidunda, yandi vwandaka kuta kaka balitele makumi zole ya vinu.BSBBSB: from that time, when one came expecting a heap of twenty ephahs of grain, there were but ten. When one came to the winepress to draw out fifty baths, there were but twenty.
17. 17MKWMu sembaka beno na kubebisa bilanga nyonso ya beno: Mu yumisaka to bolisaka kubanda na myanzi bayinti ya bambuma ya bilanga ya beno, mu nokisa mpe mvula ya matadi, kasi beno vutukaka ve na sika ya munu, Yave.BSBBSB: I struck you—all the work of your hands—with blight, mildew, and hail, but you did not turn to Me, declares the LORD.
18. 18MKWNa yina, kubanda ntangu yayi tii na bilumbu yina ke kwiza, beno tala mbote mambu yina ke salama, mpe beno zimbana yawu ve. Samu ti kilumbu yayi, kilumbu ya makumi zole na yiya ya ngonda ya yivwa, ni kilumbu yina ba me manisa na kutunga lufulu ya Yinzo ya Yave.BSBBSB: Consider carefully from this day forward—from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, the day the foundation of the LORD’s temple was laid—consider carefully:
19. 19MKWYinki me bikana na kati ya kibumbulu ya bambuma? Ata kima! Bayinti ya vinu, ya fike, ya ba-ngelenade mpe ya olive me buta ve. Kasi kubanda bubu yayi, mu ke sakumuna beno.»BSBBSB: Is there still seed in the barn? The vine, the fig, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yet yielded fruit. But from this day on, I will bless you.”
20. 20MKWNa kilumbu kaka yina ya makumi zole na yiya ya ngonda yango, Yave zabisaka dyaka mambu ya yandi na sika ya mumbikudi Aze.BSBBSB: For the second time that day, the twenty-fourth day of the month, the word of the LORD came to Haggai, saying,
21. 21MKWYave tumisaka yandi na kwenda kuzabisa na sika ya Zolobabele, mfumu ya Yuda, mwana ya Salatyele, mambu yayi: «Munu Yave, Nzambi-Mpungu, ke ningisa zulu na ntoto.BSBBSB: “Tell Zerubbabel governor of Judah that I am about to shake the heavens and the earth:
22. 22MKWMu ke bwisisa bantinu mpe mu ke manisa lulendo ya bayinsi ya kintinu ya yinza. Mu ke mwangisa bapusu-pusu ya mvita mpe bayina ke nataka yawu. Bampunda ke kufwa mpe bayina ke nataka yawu ke manisa na kufwa bampangi bawu na bawu.BSBBSB: I will overturn royal thrones and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overturn chariots and their riders; horses and their riders will fall, each by the sword of his brother.
23. 23MKWKasi na kilumbu yina, mu ke pesa kisalu ya kusala na nge Zolobabele, mwana ya Salatyele, nge yina kele kisadi ya munu. Nge ke vwanda mfunu mingi na munu mutindu kinyemo ya munu, samu ti ni nge mu me soola. Ya tsyelika, ni munu Yave, Nzambi-Mpungu me tuba yawu.»BSBBSB: On that day, declares the LORD of Hosts, I will take you, My servant, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, declares the LORD, and I will make you like My signet ring, for I have chosen you, declares the LORD of Hosts.”
