1Ba-Falisye mpe milongisi ya Misiku yina katukaka na Yelusalemi kwendaka tala Yesu mpe yufulaka yandi:Then some Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem and asked,

2«Samu na yinki bilandi ya nge ke tumamaka ve na kinkulu ya bankooko ya beto? Bawu ke sukulaka ve maboko ntete na kudya.»“Why do Your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They do not wash their hands before they eat.”

3Yesu vutulaka: «Kasi beno, samu na yinki beno ke sadilaka kinkulu ya bankooko ya beno, mpe ke tumamaka ve na Musiku ya Nzambi?»Jesus replied, “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?

4Ya tsyelika, Nzambi tubaka: «Zitisa tata na mama ya nge, mpe ba fwana kufwa muntu yina ke finga tata to mama ya yandi.»For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’ and ‘Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.’

5Kasi beno, beno ke tubaka ti muntu lenda kutuba na tata to mama ya yandi: «Bima yina mu zolaka pesa nge samu na kusadisa nge, kele munkayulu yina mu ke pesa na Nzambi.»But you say that if anyone says to his father or mother, ‘Whatever you would have received from me is a gift devoted to God,’

6Na mutindu yina, beno ke kangisaka muntu nzila na kuzitisa tata to mama ya yandi. Beno ke manisaka Mambu ya Nzambi mfunu samu na kusadila kinkulu ya beno.he need not honor his father or mother with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.

7Beno kele bantu ya bantima zole! Mumbikudi Esaya tubaka mambu ya tsyelika ntangu yandi bikulaka samu na beno:You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you:

8«Bantu yayi ke zitisaka munu kaka na bikoba ya bawu. Kasi na bantima ya bawu, bawu kele ntama na munu.‘These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me.

9Balusambulu ya bawu na ntadisi munu kele kaka ya mpamba, samu ti bandongosolo ya bawu kele kaka misiku yina ke katukaka na bantu.»They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’”

10Yesu bokilaka nkonga ya bantu, mpe tubaka: «Beno kuwa, mpe beno bakula mambu yayi:Jesus called the crowd to Him and said, “Listen and understand.

11Bima yina ke kotaka na yinwa ya muntu ke salaka ve ti muntu kuvwanda ve ya kuvedila, kasi ni nyonso yina ke basikaka na yinwa ya muntu.»A man is not defiled by what enters his mouth, but by what comes out of it.”

12Na yina, bilandi ya yandi kwizaka pene-pene ya yandi, mpe zabisaka yandi: «Nge zaba ve ti mambu yina nge me zonza me talisa ba-Falisye ntima mpasi?»Then the disciples came to Him and said, “Are You aware that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”

13Yesu vutulaka: «Ba ke timuna konso yinti yina Tata ya munu yina kele na mazulu kunaka ve.But Jesus replied, “Every plant that My heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by its roots.

14Beno bika bawu! Bawu kele bampofo yina ke na kunata bampangi ya bawu bampofo. Kana mpofo ke na kunata mpofo ya nkaka, bawu nyonso zole ke kubwa na dibulu.»Disregard them! They are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”

15Pyele zabisaka Yesu: «Tubila beto nsasa ya kingana yina.»Peter said to Him, “Explain this parable to us.”

16Yesu vutulaka: «Beno mpe, nabunu beno kuzwa mayela?“Do you still not understand?” Jesus asked.

17Beno zaba mbote ti konso kima yina ke kotaka na yinwa ya muntu, ke lutaka na kivumu, mpe ti na manima, yawu ke basikaka na nzutu.“Do you not yet realize that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then is eliminated?

18Kasi mambu yina ke basikaka na yinwa ya muntu, ke katukaka na kati ya ntima, mpe ni yawu ke salaka ti muntu vwanda ve ya kuvedila.But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these things defile a man.

19Ya tsyelika, ni na ntima ya muntu ke katukaka mabanza ya yimbi. Ni yawu ke nataka bantu na kufwa bampangi, kusala kinsuza, kuzinga na kindumba, kulaba, kutuba bimbangi ya luvunu, mpe kufinga bampangi.For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, and slander.

20Ni mambu yina ke salaka ti muntu kuvwanda ya kuvedila ve. Kasi kudya ata kusukula maboko ke salaka ve ti muntu kuvwanda ve ya kuvedila ve.»These are what defile a man, but eating with unwashed hands does not defile him.”

21Yesu katukaka kuna, mpe yandi kwendaka na kizunga ya mbanza Tile mpe Sidone.Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the district of Tyre and Sidon.

22Kento mosi ya mbanza Kana vwandaka zinga na kizunga yina. Yandi kwendaka na sika ya Yesu, mpe lookaka: «Mfumu! Mwana ya Davidi! Tala munu kyadi! Mpeve ya yimbi ke na kukwamisa mwana ya munu ya kento. Ya ke na kutalisa yandi mpasi mingi.»And a Canaanite woman from that region came to Him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is miserably possessed by a demon.”

23Kasi Yesu vutulaka ata dyambu. Bilandi kwendaka pene-pene ya Yesu, mpe tubaka: «Vutula yandi. Yandi ke na kubika ve na kulanda beto, mpe na kulooka.»But Jesus did not answer a word. So His disciples came and urged Him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”

24Yesu vutulaka: «Nzambi fidisaka munu na sika ya bantu ya Isayeli yina kele mutindu mameme ya kuzimbana.»He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

25Kasi kento yina kwizaka fukama na ntwala ya Yesu, mpe tubaka: «Mfumu, sadisa munu!»The woman came and knelt before Him. “Lord, help me!” she said.

26Yesu vutulaka: «Ya kele mbote ve na kubaka madya ya bana ya fyoti, mpe kulosa yawu na bayimbwa.»But Jesus replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”

27Kento vutulaka: «Mfumu, ya kele ya tsyelika. Kasi bayimbwa mpe ke kudyaka mwa bandambu ya madya yina ke kubwaka na yisi ya mesa ya bamfumu ya bawu.»“Yes, Lord,” she said, “even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”

28Na yina, Yesu zabisaka yandi: «Ee, kento! Kiminu ya nge kele nene! Bika ti mambu yina nge ke na kulomba, kusalama mutindu nge ke na kuzola.» Kaka na ntangu yina, mwana ya yandi ya kento belukaka.“O woman,” Jesus answered, “your faith is great! Let it be done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

29Yesu katukaka kuna, mpe kwendaka na simu ya dyanga ya Ngalili. Yandi yulukaka na mongo, mpe vwandaka.Moving on from there, Jesus went along the Sea of Galilee. Then He went up on a mountain and sat down.

30Bantu mingi kwizaka na kisika yina yandi vwandaka. Bawu natinaka yandi bantu ya bifuuma na makulu, bampofo, bikata, mababa, mpe bambevo mingi ya nkaka. Ba tulaka bawu na ntwala ya yandi, mpe yandi belusaka bawu.Large crowds came to Him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute, and many others, and laid them at His feet, and He healed them.

31Bantu yitukaka mingi ntangu bawu talaka ti mababa me zonza, bikata me tambula, bantu ya bifuuma na makulu me beluka, mpe bampofo me tala. Na yina, bawu kembisaka Nzambi ya Isayeli!The crowd was amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled restored, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel.

32Yesu bokilaka bilandi ya yandi, mpe zabisaka bawu: «Mu ke na kutala bantu yayi kyadi samu ti ya me kuma bilumbu tatu yina bawu kele na munu awa, mpe bawu ke dyaka ve na kima ya kudya. Mu zola ve ti bawu vutuka ata kudya kima samu ti bawu lenda kuvwanda ya kulemba na nzila ntangu bawu ke vutuka.»Then Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, “I have compassion for this crowd, because they have already been with Me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may faint along the way.”

33Bilandi vutulaka: «Wapi sika beto lenda kuzwa madya na kisika yayi kele na kima ve samu na kuyukutisa bantu nyonso yayi?»The disciples replied, “Where in this desolate place could we find enough bread to feed such a large crowd?”

34Yesu yufulaka bawu: «Beno kele na mampa yikwa?» Bawu vutulaka: «Beto kele na mampa nsambwadi na mwa bambisi ya fyoti.»“How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked. “Seven,” they replied, “and a few small fish.”

35Na yina, Yesu tumisaka bantu nyonso na kuvwanda na ntoto.And He instructed the crowd to sit down on the ground.

36Yandi bakaka mampa mpe nsambwadi bambisi. Na manima ya kutonda Nzambi, yandi bukunaka yawu mpe pesaka yawu na bilandi samu na kukabula yawu na bantu nyonso.Taking the seven loaves and the fish, He gave thanks and broke them. Then He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.

37Bawu nyonso kudyaka mpe yukutaka. Bilandi lokotaka mwa bandambu yina bikanaka, mpe bawu fulusaka bitunga nsambwadi.They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.

38Lutangu ya bantu yina kudyaka vwandaka mafunda yiya (4 000) ya babakala ata kubaka lutangu ya bakento mpe bana.A total of four thousand men were fed, besides women and children.

39Na manima ya kuvutula bantu nyonso yina, Yesu kotaka na bwatu, mpe kwendaka na kizunga ya Mangada.After Jesus had dismissed the crowds, He got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan.
