1. 1MKWNa kilumbu ya yiya ya ngonda ya yivwa, ngonda yina ba ke bokilaka Kisilewu, na mvula ya yiya ya kintinu ya Dalyuse, Yave zabisaka mambu ya yandi na sika ya mumbikudi Zakali.BSBBSB: In the fourth year of King Darius, the word of the LORD came to Zechariah on the fourth day of the ninth month, the month of Chislev.
2. 2MKWBantu ya Betele fidisaka Salesele mpe Lengweme-Meleke na bantu ya yandi samu ti, bawu kwenda bondila Yave,BSBBSB: Now the people of Bethel had sent Sharezer and Regem-melech, along with their men, to plead before the LORD
3. 3MKWmpe na kuyufula banganga-Nzambi yina kele kuna na Yinzo ya Yave, Nzambi ya Binwani, mpe na mimbikudi kyuvu yayi: «Tii wapi ntangu beto ke tatamana na kudila mpe kumina nsoki na ngonda ya tanu, mutindu beto ke salaka yawu katuka ntama?»BSBBSB: by asking the priests of the house of the LORD of Hosts, as well as the prophets, “Should I weep and fast in the fifth month, as I have done these many years?”
4. 4MKWNa yina, mambu ya Yave, Nzambi ya Binwani, kuminaka munu mutindu yayi:BSBBSB: Then the word of the LORD of Hosts came to me, saying,
5. 5MKWZabisa na bantu nyonso ya yinsi mpe na banganga-Nzambi ti: «Ya me kuma bamvula makumi nsambwadi, katuka ntangu yina beno bakaka lukanu ya kumina nsoki na kati ya bidilu kubanda na konso ngonda ya tanu mpe na ngonda ya nsambwadi. Beno minaka nsoki samu na munu?»BSBBSB: “Ask all the people of the land and the priests, ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months for these seventy years, was it really for Me that you fasted?
6. 6MKW«Na ntangu beno ke kudyaka mpe ke kunwaka, beno ke salaka yawu ve samu na beno mosi?»BSBBSB: And when you were eating and drinking, were you not doing so simply for yourselves?
7. 7MKWNi mambu yayi ve, Yave zabisaka na mimbikudi ya ntete, ntangu yina mbanza Yelusalemi mpe bambanza yina kele pene-pene vwandaka na kati ya kizunu? Mpe bantu mingi vwandaka zinga na Nengeve mpe na Sefela.BSBBSB: Are these not the words that the LORD proclaimed through the earlier prophets, when Jerusalem and its surrounding towns were populous and prosperous, and the Negev and the foothills were inhabited?’”
8. 8MKWYave tubaka na Zakali mutindu yayi:BSBBSB: Then the word of the LORD came to Zechariah, saying,
9. 9MKWYave, Nzambi ya Binwani ke na kutuba: «Beno sala lufundusu ya kudedama, beno salasana bumbote mpe beno fwila bampangi kyadi.BSBBSB: “This is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Administer true justice. Show loving devotion and compassion to one another.
10. 10MKWBeno nyokola ve mifwidi ya bakento, bansaana, bantu ya nzenza mpe bamputu. Beno vwanda ve na mabanza ya kusalasana yimbi.»BSBBSB: Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. And do not plot evil in your hearts against one another.’
11. 11MKW«Kasi bawu mangaka na kuwa mpe bawu pesaka munu manima, bawu kangaka makutu ya bawu samu ti bawu kuwa ve.BSBBSB: But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder; they stopped up their ears from hearing.
12. 12MKWBantima ya bawu kumaka ngolo mutindu ditadi ya ntalu yina ba ke bokilaka dyamane, samu na kuwa ve Musiku mpe mambu yina Yave, Nzambi ya Binwani, tubaka na mimbikudi ya ntete na nzila ya Mpeve ya yandi. Na yina, Yave, Nzambi ya Binwani, kumaka na nkele ya kulutila.»BSBBSB: They made their hearts like flint and would not listen to the law or to the words that the LORD of Hosts had sent by His Spirit through the earlier prophets. Therefore great anger came from the LORD of Hosts.
13. 13MKWMutindu bawu kuwaka munu ve ntangu yina mu bokilaka bawu, munu mpe ke kuwa bawu ve ntangu yina bawu ke bokila munu. Ni Yave, Nzambi ya Binwani, me tuba yawu.BSBBSB: And just as I had called and they would not listen, so when they called I would not listen, says the LORD of Hosts.
14. 14MKWMu mwangisaka bawu na bayinsi nyonso yina bawu vwandaka zaba ve. Na manima ya bawu, yinsi ya bawu mpe mwanganaka, ata muntu vwandaka tula dikulu kuna. Yinsi yina vwandaka ya kitoko, bawu kitulaka yawu yinsi ya kyadi.BSBBSB: But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations that they had not known, and the land was left desolate behind them so that no one could come or go. Thus they turned the pleasant land into a desolation.”
