Zephaniah 3 (MKW)

1Kyadi mingi samu na mbanza ya muvusu, mbanza ya kusumuka, mbanza yina ke nyokolaka bantu!Woe to the city of oppressors, rebellious and defiled!

2Yawu me ndima ve ndinga ya Mfumu yina me bokila yandi, mpe me kuwa ve malongi ya yandi! Yawu me sala ve kivuvu na sika ya Yave, mpe yawu me sosa ve Nzambi ya yandi.She heeded no voice; she accepted no correction. She does not trust in the LORD; she has not drawn near to her God.

3Bantwadisi ya yandi kele mutindu bankosi ya kudasuka, bazuzi ya yandi kele mutindu bayingo yina ke salaka mbingu na nkokila mpe ke vwandaka ve na madya ya kudya na suka.Her princes are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves, leaving nothing for the morning.

4Mimbikudi ya yandi ke na lunangu mpe luvunu. Banganga-Nzambi ya yandi me safula, bima yina ba byekaka samu na Nzambi, bawu me tumama ve na Musiku.Her prophets are reckless, faithless men. Her priests profane the sanctuary; they do violence to the law.

5Na kutala mbote, Yave na kati ya mbanza, ke na kusala ludedomo kasi yimbi ve. Konso suka, yandi ke salaka lufundusu ya mbote, kasi bantu ya bantima ya yimbi ke na kusala yimbi ata kutala nsoni!The LORD within her is righteous; He does no wrong. He applies His justice morning by morning; He does not fail at dawn, yet the unjust know no shame.

For then I will remove from among you those who rejoice in their pride, and you will never again be haughty on My holy mountain.
