Therefore I must make preparations for it.” So David made lavish preparations before his death.

8 ULB എങ്കിലും എനിക്കു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു ഉണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ: ‘നീ ഏറെ രക്തം ചിന്തി വലിയ യുദ്ധങ്ങളും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്; നീ എന്റെ നാമത്തിന് ഒരു ആലയം പണിയരുത്; നീ എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ഭൂമിയിൽ ധാരാളം രക്തം ചിന്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: but this word of the LORD came to me: ‘You have shed much blood and waged great wars. You are not to build a house for My Name because you have shed so much blood on the ground before Me.

I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side; for his name will be Solomon, and I will grant to Israel peace and quiet during his reign.

BSB BSB: He is the one who will build a house for My Name. He will be My son, and I will be his Father. And I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’
11 ULB ആകയാൽ എന്റെ മകനേ, യഹോവ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ നീ വിജയകരമായി അവന്റെ ആലയം പണിയുക. BSB BSB: Now, my son, may the LORD be with you, and may you succeed in building the house of the LORD your God, as He said you would.
12 ULB നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം നീ ആചരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് യഹോവ നിനക്കു ജ്ഞാനവും വിവേകവും തന്നു നിന്നെ യിസ്രായേലിന് നിയമിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ. BSB BSB: Above all, may the LORD give you insight and understanding when He puts you in command over Israel, so that you may keep the Law of the LORD your God.
13 ULB യഹോവ യിസ്രായേലിന് വേണ്ടി മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ച ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും നീ ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നീ കൃതാർത്ഥനാകും; ധൈര്യപ്പെട്ടു ഉറച്ചിരിക്ക; ഭയപ്പെടരുതു, ഭ്രമിക്കയും അരുതു. BSB BSB: Then you will succeed, if you carefully follow the statutes and ordinances that the LORD commanded Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged.

BSB BSB: Now behold, I have taken great pains to provide for the house of the LORD—100,000 talents of gold, 1,000,000 talents of silver, and bronze and iron too great to be weighed. I have also provided timber and stone, and you may add to them.

16 ULB പൊന്ന്, വെള്ളി, താമ്രം, ഇരിമ്പ് എന്നിവ ധാരാളം ഉണ്ട്; ഉത്സാഹിച്ചു പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുകൊൾക; യഹോവ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ. BSB BSB: in gold and silver, bronze and iron—craftsmen beyond number. Now begin the work, and may the LORD be with you.”
17 ULB ദാവീദ് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും തന്റെ മകനായ ശലോമോനെ സഹായിപ്പാൻ കല്പിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞത്: BSB BSB: Then David ordered all the leaders of Israel to help his son Solomon:
18 ULB “നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ; അവൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ചുറ്റും വിശ്രമം വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. അവൻ ദേശനിവാസികളെ എന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചു ദേശം യഹോവയ്ക്കും അവന്റെ ജനത്തിനും കീഴടക്കിയുമിരിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: “Is not the LORD your God with you, and has He not granted you rest on every side? For He has given the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land has been subdued before the LORD and His people.
19 ULB ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയവും മനസ്സും ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പിൻ. എഴുന്നേല്പിൻ; യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകവും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപാത്രങ്ങളും യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിന് പണിയുവാനുള്ള ആലയത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതിന് യഹോവയായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ പണിയുവിൻ.” BSB BSB: Now set your heart and soul to seek the LORD your God. Begin building the sanctuary of the LORD God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD and the holy articles of God into the temple that will be built for the Name of the LORD.”
