2 ULB എന്തെന്നാൽ അന്യഭാഷയിൽ സംസാരിക്കുന്നവൻ മനുഷ്യരോടല്ല ദൈവത്തോടത്രേ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; ആരും തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നില്ലല്ലോ; എങ്കിലും അവൻ ആത്മാവിൽ മർമ്മങ്ങൾ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men, but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries in the Spirit.
3 ULB പ്രവചിക്കുന്നവൻ ആത്മികവർദ്ധനയ്ക്കും പ്രബോധനത്തിനും ആശ്വാസത്തിനുമായി മനുഷ്യരോട് സംസാരിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: But he who prophesies speaks to men for their edification, encouragement, and comfort.

BSB BSB: Now, brothers, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I benefit you, unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or teaching?

BSB BSB: Even in the case of lifeless instruments, such as the flute or harp, how will anyone recognize the tune they are playing unless the notes are distinct?

13 ULB അതുകൊണ്ട് അന്യഭാഷയിൽ സംസാരിക്കുന്നവൻ വ്യാഖ്യാനവരത്തിനായി പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കട്ടെ. BSB BSB: Therefore, the one who speaks in a tongue should pray that he may interpret.
14 ULB എന്തെന്നാൽ ഞാൻ അന്യഭാഷയിൽ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ എന്റെ ആത്മാവ് പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ബുദ്ധിയോ ഫലമില്ലാത്തതായിരിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful.

18 ULB നിങ്ങളെല്ലാവരിലും അധികം ഞാൻ അന്യഭാഷകളിൽ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you.
19 ULB എങ്കിലും സഭയിൽ പതിനായിരം വാക്ക് അന്യഭാഷയിൽ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതിനേക്കാൾ അധികം, മറ്റുള്ളവരെയും പഠിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ബുദ്ധികൊണ്ട് അഞ്ചുവാക്ക് പറയുവാൻ ഞാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: But in the church, I would rather speak five coherent words to instruct others than ten thousand words in a tongue.

21 ULB “അന്യഭാഷകളാലും അന്യന്മാരുടെ അധരങ്ങളാലും ഞാൻ ഈ ജനത്തോട് സംസാരിക്കും എങ്കിലും അവർ എന്റെ വാക്ക് കേൾക്കുകയില്ല എന്ന് കർത്താവ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു” എന്ന് ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: It is written in the Law: “By strange tongues and foreign lips I will speak to this people, but even then they will not listen to Me, says the Lord.”

BSB BSB: So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and some who are uninstructed or some unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your minds?

30 ULB എന്നാൽ സഭയിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവനായ മറ്റൊരുവന് വെളിപ്പാടുണ്ടായാലോ ഒന്നാമത്തവൻ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കട്ടെ. BSB BSB: And if a revelation comes to someone who is seated, the first speaker should stop.
31 ULB എന്തെന്നാൽ എല്ലാവരും പഠിക്കുവാനും എല്ലാവർക്കും പ്രബോധനം ലഭിക്കുവാനുമായി നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എല്ലാവർക്കും ഓരോരുത്തനായി പ്രവചിക്കാമല്ലോ. BSB BSB: For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged.
32 ULB പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ ആത്മാക്കൾ പ്രവാചകന്മാർക്ക് കീഴടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: The spirits of prophets are subject to prophets.

39 ULB അതുകൊണ്ട് സഹോദരന്മാരേ, പ്രവചനവരം വാഞ്ചിക്കുവിൻ; അന്യഭാഷകളിൽ സംസാരിക്കുന്നത് വിലക്കുകയുമരുത്. BSB BSB: So, my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
40 ULB എന്നാൽ, സകലവും ഉചിതമായും ക്രമമായും നടക്കട്ടെ. BSB BSB: But everything must be done in a proper and orderly manner.
