BSB BSB: So he went out to meet Asa and said to him, “Listen to me, Asa and all Judah and Benjamin. The LORD is with you when you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.

7 ULB എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ധൈര്യമായിരിപ്പിൻ; നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈകൾ തളർന്നുപോകരുത്; നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്ക് പ്രതിഫലം ഉണ്ടാകും.” BSB BSB: But as for you, be strong; do not be discouraged, for your work will be rewarded.”
8 ULB ആസാ ഈ വാക്കുകളും ഓദേദ് പ്രവാചകന്റെ പ്രവചനവും കേട്ടപ്പോൾ ധൈര്യപ്പെട്ട്, യെഹൂദയുടെയും ബെന്യാമിന്റെയും ദേശത്തുനിന്നും, എഫ്രയീംമലനാട്ടിൽ അവൻ പിടിച്ചിരുന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും മ്ലേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ നീക്കിക്കളകയും യഹോവയുടെ മണ്ഡപത്തിൻമുമ്പിലുള്ള യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠം പുതുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. BSB BSB: When Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Azariah son of Oded the prophet, he took courage and removed the detestable idols from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim. He then restored the altar of the LORD that was in front of the portico of the LORD’s temple.

BSB BSB: And he assembled all Judah and Benjamin, along with those from the tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who had settled among them, for great numbers had come over to him from Israel when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.
10 ULB ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ ആസയുടെ വാഴ്ചയുടെ പതിനേഴാം ആണ്ടിന്റെ മൂന്നാം മാസത്തിൽ യെരൂശലേമിൽ വന്നുകൂടി. BSB BSB: So they gathered together in Jerusalem in the third month of the fifteenth year of Asa’s reign.
11 ULB തങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന കൊള്ളയിൽനിന്ന് അവർ എഴുനൂറ് കാളകളെയും ഏഴായിരം ആടുകളെയും അന്ന് യഹോവയ്ക്ക് യാഗം കഴിച്ചു. BSB BSB: At that time they sacrificed to the LORD seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep from all the plunder they had brought back.

13 ULB ചെറിയവനോ വലിയവനോ പുരുഷനോ സ്ത്രീയോ ആരായാലും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കാത്തവർ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണമെന്നും ഒരു നിയമം ചെയ്തു. BSB BSB: And whoever would not seek the LORD, the God of Israel, would be put to death, whether young or old, man or woman.
14 ULB അവർ മഹാഘോഷത്തോടും ആർപ്പോടും കാഹളങ്ങളോടും കുഴലുകളോടും കൂടെ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ സത്യം ചെയ്തു. BSB BSB: They took an oath to the LORD with a loud voice, with shouting, trumpets, and rams’ horns.
15 ULB എല്ലായെഹൂദ്യരും സത്യം നിമിത്തം സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അവർ പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ സത്യം ചെയ്ത് പൂർണ്ണതാല്പര്യത്തോടുകൂടെ അവനെ അന്വേഷിച്ചതുകൊണ്ട് അവർ അവനെ കണ്ടെത്തുകയും യഹോവ അവർക്കു എല്ലായിടത്തും സ്വസ്ഥത നല്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. BSB BSB: And all Judah rejoiced over the oath, for they had sworn it with all their heart. They had sought Him earnestly, and He was found by them. So the LORD gave them rest on every side.

BSB BSB: King Asa also removed his grandmother Maacah from her position as queen mother because she had made a detestable Asherah pole. Asa chopped down the pole, crushed it, and burned it in the Kidron Valley.

18 ULB വെള്ളി, പൊന്ന്, ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ എന്നിങ്ങനെ തന്റെ അപ്പനും താനും നിവേദിച്ച വസ്തുക്കൾ അവൻ ദൈവാലയത്തിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. BSB BSB: And he brought into the house of God the silver and gold and the articles that he and his father had dedicated.
19 ULB ആസയുടെ വാഴ്ചയുടെ മുപ്പത്തഞ്ചാം സംവത്സരംവരെ വീണ്ടും യുദ്ധം ഉണ്ടായില്ല. BSB BSB: And there was no war until the thirty-fifth year of Asa’s reign.
