3. 3ULBഅവന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷതയാകുന്ന മടങ്ങിവരവിന്റെ വാഗ്ദത്തം എവിടെ?BSBBSB: Most importantly, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.
4. 4ULBപിതാക്കന്മാർ മരിച്ച ശേഷം സകലവും സൃഷ്ടിയുടെ ആരംഭത്തിൽ ഇരുന്നതുപോലെ തന്നെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് സ്വന്തമോഹങ്ങളെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കുന്ന പരിഹാസികൾ പരിഹാസത്തോടെ അന്ത്യകാലത്ത് വരുമെന്ന് വിശേഷാൽ അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾവിൻ.BSBBSB: “Where is the promise of His coming?” they will ask. “Ever since our fathers fell asleep, everything continues as it has from the beginning of creation.”

6. 6ULBഅതേ വചനത്താലും വെള്ളത്താലും അന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ലോകം മുങ്ങി നശിച്ചു എന്നുംBSBBSB: through which the world of that time perished in the flood.
7. 7ULBഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും അതേ വചനത്താൽ തീയ്ക്കായി സൂക്ഷിച്ചും, ഭക്തികെട്ട മനുഷ്യരുടെ ന്യായവിധിയും നാശവും സംഭവിപ്പാനുള്ള ദിവസത്തേക്കായി കാത്തുമിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും അവർ മനസ്സോടെ മറന്നുകളയുന്നു.BSBBSB: And by that same word, the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and its works will be laid bare.
11. 11ULBഇപ്രകാരം ഇവ ഒക്കെയും നശിച്ചുപോകുവാനുള്ളതായിരിക്കയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ വിശുദ്ധജീവിതവും ഭക്തിയും സംബന്ധിച്ച് എങ്ങനെയുള്ളവർ ആയിരിക്കണം?BSBBSB: Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to conduct yourselves in holiness and godliness
12. 12ULBആകാശം കത്തി എരിയുവാനും മൂലപദാർത്ഥങ്ങൾ വെന്തുരുകുവാനും ഉള്ള ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആ ഭരണദിവസത്തെ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുകയും ബദ്ധപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുവിൻ.BSBBSB: as you anticipate and hasten the coming of the day of God, when the heavens will be destroyed by fire and the elements will melt in the heat.
13. 13ULBഎന്നാൽ നാം അവൻ വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്ത നീതിയിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന പുതിയ ആകാശത്തിനും പുതിയ ഭൂമിക്കുമായിട്ട് കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.BSBBSB: But in keeping with God’s promise, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.
14. 14ULBഅതുകൊണ്ട് പ്രിയമുള്ളവരേ, നിങ്ങൾ ഇവയ്ക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കയാൽ അവൻ നിങ്ങളെ കറയും കളങ്കവും ഇല്ലാത്തവരായും അവനോടുകൂടെ സമാധാനമുള്ളവരായും കാണ്മാൻതക്കവണ്ണം കഴിവതും ഉത്സാഹിപ്പിൻ.BSBBSB: Therefore, beloved, as you anticipate these things, make every effort to be found at peace—spotless and blameless in His sight.

16. 16ULBഎഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്ന സകല ലേഖനങ്ങളിലും ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അങ്ങനെതന്നെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ. അവയിൽ ഗ്രഹിപ്പാൻ പ്രയാസമുള്ളത് ചിലതുണ്ട്. അറിവില്ലാത്തവരും അസ്ഥിരന്മാരുമായവർ ശേഷം തിരുവെഴുത്തുകളെപ്പോലെ അതും തങ്ങളുടെ നാശത്തിനായി കോട്ടിക്കളയുന്നു.BSBBSB: He writes this way in all his letters, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.
17. 17ULBഎന്നാൽ പ്രിയമുള്ളവരേ, നിങ്ങൾ മുമ്പുകൂട്ടി ഈ കാര്യങ്ങൾ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കകൊണ്ട് അധർമ്മികളുടെ വഞ്ചനയിൽ കുടുങ്ങി സ്വന്ത സ്ഥിരതവിട്ട് വീണുപോകാതിരിക്കുവാൻ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്ളുവിൻ.BSBBSB: Therefore, beloved, since you already know these things, be on your guard so that you will not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure standing.
18. 18ULBകൃപയിലും നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവും രക്ഷിതാവുമായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ പരിജ്ഞാനത്തിലും വളരുവിൻ. അവന് ഇപ്പോഴും എന്നെന്നേക്കും മഹത്വം. ആമേൻ.BSBBSB: But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
