2 ULB നീ യോർദ്ദാൻ കടന്ന്, നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു തരുന്ന ദേശത്ത് എത്തുന്ന ദിവസം, നീ വലിയ കല്ലുകൾ നാട്ടി അവയുടെമേൽ കുമ്മായം തേക്കേണം: BSB BSB: And on the day you cross the Jordan into the land that the LORD your God is giving you, set up large stones and coat them with plaster.
3 ULB നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ നിനക്കു തരുന്ന പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്ന ദേശത്ത് കടന്നുചെന്നശേഷം നീ ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെല്ലാം ആ കല്ലുകളിൽ എഴുതേണം. BSB BSB: Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land that the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you.
4 ULB ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ യോർദ്ദാൻ കടന്ന് ഞാൻ ഇന്നു നിങ്ങളോട് ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന പ്രകാരം ഈ കല്ലുകൾ ഏബാൽപർവ്വത്തിൽ നാട്ടുകയും അവയുടെമേൽ കുമ്മായം തേക്കുകയും വേണം. BSB BSB: And when you have crossed the Jordan, you are to set up these stones on Mount Ebal, as I am commanding you today, and you are to coat them with plaster.
5 ULB അവിടെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് കല്ലുകൊണ്ട് ഒരു യാഗപീഠം പണിയേണം; അതിന്മേൽ ഇരിമ്പുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ആയുധം പ്രയോഗിക്കരുത്. BSB BSB: Moreover, you are to build there an altar to the LORD your God, an altar of stones. You must not use any iron tool on them.
6 ULB ചെത്താത്ത കല്ലുകൊണ്ട് നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠം പണിയേണം; അതിന്മേൽ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളും അർപ്പിക്കേണം. BSB BSB: You shall build the altar of the LORD your God with uncut stones and offer upon it burnt offerings to the LORD your God.
7 ULB അവിടെവെച്ച് തിന്നുകയും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കയും വേണം; BSB BSB: There you are to sacrifice your peace offerings, eating them and rejoicing in the presence of the LORD your God.
8 ULB ആ കല്ലുകളിൽ ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും നല്ല തെളിവായി എഴുതേണം. BSB BSB: And you shall write distinctly upon these stones all the words of this law.”
9 ULB മോശെയും ലേവ്യരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാരും എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിനോടും: “യിസ്രായേലേ, മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നു കേൾക്ക; ഇന്നു നീ, നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ജനമായി തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: Then Moses and the Levitical priests spoke to all Israel: “Be silent, O Israel, and listen! This day you have become the people of the LORD your God.
10 ULB ആകയാൽ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കനുസരിച്ച്, ഞാൻ ഇന്നു നിന്നോട് ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന അവന്റെ കല്പനകളും ചട്ടങ്ങളും ആചരിക്കേണം” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. BSB BSB: You shall therefore obey the voice of the LORD your God and follow His commandments and statutes I am giving you today.”
11 ULB അന്ന് മോശെ ജനത്തോടു കല്പിച്ചത് എന്തെന്നാൽ: BSB BSB: On that day Moses commanded the people:
12 ULB “നിങ്ങൾ യോർദ്ദാൻ കടന്ന ശേഷം ജനത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിപ്പാൻ ഗെരിസീംപർവ്വതത്തിൽ നില്ക്കേണ്ടവർ: ശിമെയോൻ, ലേവി, യെഹൂദാ, യിസ്സാഖാർ, യോസേഫ്, ബേന്യാമീൻ. BSB BSB: “When you have crossed the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.
13 ULB ശപിപ്പാൻ ഏബാൽപർവ്വതത്തിൽ നിൽക്കേണ്ടവർ: രൂബേൻ, ഗാദ്, ആശേർ, സെബൂലൂൻ, ദാൻ, നഫ്താലി. BSB BSB: And these tribes shall stand on Mount Ebal to deliver the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali. 14 ULB അപ്പോൾ ലേവ്യർ എല്ലായിസ്രായേല്യരോടും ഉറക്കെ വിളിച്ചുപറയേണ്ടത് എന്തെന്നാൽ: BSB BSB: Then the Levites shall proclaim in a loud voice to every Israelite:
16 ULB അപ്പനെയോ അമ്മയെയോ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം. BSB BSB: ‘Cursed is he who dishonors his father or mother.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
17 ULB കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ അതിർ നീക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം. BSB BSB: ‘Cursed is he who moves his neighbor’s boundary stone.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
18 ULB കുരുടനെ വഴി തെറ്റിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം. BSB BSB: ‘Cursed is he who lets a blind man wander in the road.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
19 ULB പരദേശിയുടെയും അനാഥന്റെയും വിധവയുടെയും ന്യായം മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം. BSB BSB: ‘Cursed is he who withholds justice from the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
20 ULB അപ്പന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്നവൻ അപ്പന്റെ വസ്ത്രം നീക്കിയതുകൊണ്ട് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം. BSB BSB: ‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his father’s wife, for he has violated his father’s marriage bed.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
21 ULB വല്ല മൃഗത്തോടുംകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം. BSB BSB: ‘Cursed is he who lies with any animal.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
22 ULB അപ്പന്റെ മകളോ അമ്മയുടെ മകളോ ആയ സഹോദരിയോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം. BSB BSB: ‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
23 ULB അമ്മാവിയമ്മയോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം. BSB BSB: ‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his mother-in-law.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
24 ULB കൂട്ടുകാരനെ രഹസ്യമായി കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം. BSB BSB: ‘Cursed is he who strikes down his neighbor in secret.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
25 ULB കുറ്റമില്ലാത്തവനെ കൊല്ലേണ്ടതിന് പ്രതിഫലം വാങ്ങുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം. BSB BSB: ‘Cursed is he who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
26 ULB ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിലെ വചനങ്ങൾ പ്രമാണമാക്കി,അവ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കാത്തവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം. BSB BSB: ‘Cursed is he who does not put the words of this law into practice.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
