And you will drive them out and annihilate them swiftly, as the LORD has promised you.

9 ULB യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോട് ചെയ്ത നിയമം എഴുതിയ കല്പലകകൾ വാങ്ങുവാൻ ഞാൻ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ കയറി, നാല്പത് രാവും നാല്പത് പകലും പർവ്വതത്തിൽ താമസിച്ചു; ഞാൻ ആഹാരം കഴിക്കയോ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കയോ ചെയ്തില്ല. BSB BSB: Then the LORD gave me the two stone tablets, inscribed by the finger of God with the exact words that the LORD spoke to you out of the fire on the mountain on the day of the assembly.
11 ULB നാല്പതുരാവും നാല്പതുപകലും കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോഴായിരുന്നു യഹോവ എന്റെ പക്കൽ നിയമം എഴുതിയ ആ രണ്ട് കല്പലകകൾ തന്നത്. BSB BSB: And at the end of forty days and forty nights, the LORD gave me the two stone tablets, the tablets of the covenant.
12 ULB അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ എന്നോട്: “നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റ് ക്ഷണത്തിൽ ഇവിടെനിന്ന് ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെല്ലുക; നീ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽ നിന്ന് കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിന്റെ ജനം തങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ വഷളാക്കി, ഞാൻ അവരോട് കല്പിച്ച വഴി വേഗത്തിൽ വിട്ടുമാറി ഒരു വിഗ്രഹം വാർത്തുണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് കല്പിച്ചു. BSB BSB: And the LORD said to me, “Get up and go down from here at once, for your people, whom you brought out of Egypt, have corrupted themselves. How quickly they have turned aside from the way that I commanded them! They have made for themselves a molten image.”

BSB BSB: Leave Me alone, so that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under heaven. Then I will make you into a nation mightier and greater than they are.”
15 ULB അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ തിരിഞ്ഞ് പർവ്വതത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഇറങ്ങി; പർവ്വതത്തിൽ തീ ആളിക്കത്തുകയായിരുന്നു; നിയമത്തിന്റെ രണ്ട് പലകകളും എന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. BSB BSB: So I went back down the mountain while it was blazing with fire, with the two tablets of the covenant in my hands.

BSB BSB: And I saw how you had sinned against the LORD your God; you had made for yourselves a molten calf. You had turned aside quickly from the way that the LORD had commanded you.

I did not eat bread or drink water because of all the sin you had committed in doing what was evil in the sight of the LORD and provoking Him to anger.
19 ULB നിങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിക്കുമാറ് നിങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ച യഹോവയുടെ കോപവും ക്രോധവും കണ്ട് ഞാൻ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു; എന്നാൽ യഹോവ ആ പ്രാവശ്യവും എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടു. BSB BSB: For I was afraid of the anger and wrath that the LORD had directed against you, enough to destroy you. But the LORD listened to me this time as well.

22 ULB തബേരയിലും മസ്സയിലും കിബ്രോത്ത്-ഹത്താവയിലും വെച്ച് നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചു. BSB BSB: You continued to provoke the LORD at Taberah, at Massah, and at Kibroth-hattaavah.
23 ULB ‘നിങ്ങൾ ചെന്ന് ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് തന്നിട്ടുള്ള ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കുവിൻ’ എന്ന് കല്പിച്ച് യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ കാദേശ്--ബർന്നേയയിൽ നിന്ന് അയച്ചപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനയോട് മറുത്തുനിന്നു; അവനെ വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല; അവന്റെ വാക്ക് അനുസരിച്ചതുമില്ല. BSB BSB: And when the LORD sent you out from Kadesh-barnea, He said, “Go up and possess the land that I have given you.” But you rebelled against the command of the LORD your God. You neither believed Him nor obeyed Him.

25 ULB യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിക്കുമെന്ന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നാല്പത് രാവും നാല്പത് പകലും വീണു കിടന്നു; BSB BSB: So I fell down before the LORD for forty days and forty nights, because the LORD had said He would destroy you.
26 ULB ഞാൻ യഹോവയോട് അപേക്ഷിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞത്: ‘കർത്താവായ യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ മഹത്വം കൊണ്ട് നീ വീണ്ടെടുത്ത് ബലമുള്ള കയ്യാൽ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽനിന്ന് കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിന്റെ ജനത്തെയും നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തെയും നശിപ്പിക്കരുതേ. BSB BSB: And I prayed to the LORD and said, “O Lord GOD, do not destroy Your people, Your inheritance, whom You redeemed through Your greatness and brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
27 ULB അബ്രാഹാം, യിസ്ഹാക്, യാക്കോബ് എന്നീ നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരെ ഓർക്കേണമേ; താൻ അവർക്ക് വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്തിരുന്ന ദേശത്ത് അവരെ എത്തിപ്പാൻ യഹോവക്ക് കഴിയായ്കകൊണ്ടും അവൻ അവരെ പകച്ചതു കൊണ്ടും അവരെ കൊണ്ടുപോയി മരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ച് കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു എന്ന് നീ ഞങ്ങളെ വിടുവിച്ച് കൊണ്ടുപോന്ന ദേശക്കാർ പറയാതിരിപ്പാൻ BSB BSB: Remember Your servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Overlook the stubbornness of this people and the wickedness of their sin.
28 ULB ഈ ജനത്തിന്റെ ശാഠ്യവും അകൃത്യവും പാപവും നോക്കരുതേ. BSB BSB: Otherwise, those in the land from which You brought us out will say, ‘Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land He had promised them, and because He hated them, He has brought them out to kill them in the wilderness.’
