1യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് എനിക്കുണ്ടായത് എന്തെന്നാൽ:Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

2“മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഒരമ്മയുടെ മക്കളായ രണ്ടു സ്ത്രീകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.“Son of man, there were two women, daughters of the same mother,

3അവർ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽവച്ച് പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു; യൗവനത്തിൽ തന്നെ അവർ പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു; അവിടെ വച്ച് അവരുടെ സ്തനങ്ങൾ തഴുകപ്പെട്ടു; അവരുടെ മാറിടം തലോടപ്പെട്ടു.and they played in Egypt, prostituting themselves from their youth. Their breasts were fondled there, and their virgin bosoms caressed.

22അതുകൊണ്ട് ഒഹൊലീബയേ, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ‘ബാബേല്ക്കാർ, കല്ദയർ, പെക്കോദ്യർ, ശോവ്യർ,Therefore, Oholibah, this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will incite your lovers against you, those from whom you turned away in disgust. And I will bring them against you from every side—

They will array themselves against you on every side with buckler and shield and helmet. I will delegate judgment to them, and they will punish you according to their own standards.

They will cut off your noses and ears, and your survivors will fall by the sword. They will seize your sons and daughters, and your remnant will be consumed by fire.

28യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നീ പകയ്ക്കുന്നവരുടെ കൈയിൽ, നിനക്ക് വെറുപ്പു തോന്നുന്നവരുടെ കൈയിൽ തന്നെ, ഏല്പിക്കും.For this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Surely I will deliver you into the hands of those you hate, from whom you turned away in disgust.

29അവർ പകയോടെ നിന്നോടു പെരുമാറി, നിന്റെ സമ്പാദ്യം മുഴുവനും എടുത്ത്, നിന്നെ നഗ്നയും അനാവൃതയും ആക്കിവിടും; അങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയുടെ നഗ്നതയും നിന്റെ ദുർന്നടപ്പും പരസംഗങ്ങളും വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരും.They will treat you with hatred, take all for which you have worked, and leave you naked and bare, so that the shame of your prostitution will be exposed. Your indecency and promiscuity

30നീ ജനതകളോടു ചേർന്ന് പരസംഗം ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടും അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളാൽ നിന്നെത്തന്നെ മലിനയാക്കിയതുകൊണ്ടും ഇത് നിനക്കു ഭവിക്കും.have brought these things upon you, because you have prostituted yourself with the nations and defiled yourself with their idols.

31നീ സഹോദരിയുടെ വഴിയിൽ നടന്നതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ അവളുടെ പാനപാത്രം നിന്റെ കൈയിൽ തരും”.Because you have followed the path of your sister, I will put her cup into your hand.’

32യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “നീ സഹോദരിയുടെ ആഴവും വിസ്താരവും ഉള്ള പാനപാത്രത്തിൽനിന്നു കുടിച്ച് നിന്ദയ്ക്കും പരിഹാസത്തിനും വിഷയമായിത്തീരും; അതിൽ വളരെ കൊള്ളുമല്ലോ.This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘You will drink your sister’s cup, a cup deep and wide. It will bring scorn and derision, for it holds so much.

33ഭീതിയും ശൂന്യതയുമുള്ള പാനപാത്രമായി, നിന്റെ സഹോദരി ശമര്യയുടെ പാനപാത്രമായ ലഹരിയും ദുഃഖവുംകൊണ്ട് നീ നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.You will be filled with drunkenness and grief, with a cup of devastation and desolation, the cup of your sister Samaria.

34നീ അതു കുടിച്ചു വറ്റിച്ച് ഉടച്ച് കഷണങ്ങളെ നക്കി നിന്റെ സ്തനങ്ങളെ കീറിക്കളയും; ഞാൻ അത് കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.You will drink it and drain it; you will dash it to pieces, and tear your breasts. For I have spoken,’ declares the Lord GOD.

35ആകയാൽ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “നീ എന്നെ മറന്ന് എന്നെ നിന്റെ പിമ്പിൽ എറിഞ്ഞുകളയുകകൊണ്ട് നീ നിന്റെ ദുർന്നടപ്പും പരസംഗവും വഹിക്കുക”.Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you have forgotten Me and have cast Me behind your back, you must bear the consequences of your indecency and prostitution.’”

36പിന്നെയും യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത്: “മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ ഒഹൊലയെയും ഒഹൊലീബയെയും ന്യായംവിധിക്കുമോ? എന്നാൽ അവരുടെ മ്ലേച്ഛതകൾ അവരോട് അറിയിക്കുക.Then the LORD said to me: “Son of man, will you pass judgment against Oholah and Oholibah? Then declare to them their abominations.

They have committed adultery with their idols. They have even sacrificed their children, whom they bore to Me, in the fire as food for their idols.

38ഒന്നുകൂടെ അവർ എന്നോടു ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു: അന്നു തന്നെ അവർ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ മലിനമാക്കി, എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി.They have also done this to Me: On that very same day, they defiled My sanctuary and profaned My Sabbaths.

Yes, they did this inside My house.

Drunkards were brought in from the desert along with men from the rabble, who put bracelets on your wrists and beautiful crowns on your head.

43അപ്പോൾ വ്യഭിചാരവൃത്തികൊണ്ട് വൃദ്ധയായവളെക്കുറിച്ച് ഞാൻ: “ഇപ്പോൾ അവർ അവളോടും അവൾ അവരോടും പരസംഗം ചെയ്യുമോ?” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.Then I said of her who had grown old in adulteries: ‘Now let them use her as a prostitute, for that is all she is!’

44അങ്ങനെ വേശ്യയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ അവളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു; അതെ അവർ കാമുകികളായ ഒഹൊലയുടെ അടുക്കലും ഒഹൊലീബയുടെ അടുക്കലും ചെന്നു.And they slept with her as with a prostitute; they slept with Oholah and Oholibah, those lewd women.

45എന്നാൽ നീതിമാന്മാരായ പുരുഷന്മാർ, വ്യഭിചാരിണികൾക്കും രക്തപാതകികൾക്കും തക്ക ന്യായപ്രകാരം അവരെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കും; അവർ വ്യഭിചാരിണികളല്ലയോ; അവരുടെ കൈയിൽ രക്തവും ഉണ്ട്.But righteous men will sentence them to the punishment of those who commit adultery and bloodshed, because they are adulteresses with blood on their hands.

46യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഞാൻ അവരുടെ നേരെ ഒരു സഭ കൂട്ടി അവരെ പരിഭ്രമത്തിനും കവർച്ചയ്ക്കും ഏല്പിക്കും.This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Bring a mob against them and consign them to terror and plunder.

47ആ സഭ അവരെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞ് വാൾകൊണ്ടു വെട്ടിക്കളയും; അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും അവർ കൊന്ന് അവരുടെ വീടുകൾ തീവച്ച് ചുട്ടുകളയും.The mob will stone them and cut them down with their swords. They will kill their sons and daughters and burn down their houses.

48ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദുർന്നടപ്പുപോലെ ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കുവാൻ സകലസ്ത്രീകളും ഒരു പാഠം പഠിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഞാൻ ദുർന്നടപ്പ് ദേശത്തുനിന്ന് നീക്കിക്കളയും.So I will put an end to indecency in the land, and all the women will be admonished not to imitate your behavior.

49അങ്ങനെ അവർ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദുർന്നടപ്പിനു തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങൾക്കു പകരം ചെയ്യും; നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളെ ചുമക്കേണ്ടിവരും; ഞാൻ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും”.They will repay you for your indecency, and you will bear the consequences of your sins of idolatry. Then you will know that I am the Lord GOD.’”
