1 ULB പത്താം ആണ്ട്, പത്താം മാസം, പന്ത്രണ്ടാം തീയതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് എനിക്കുണ്ടായത് എന്തെന്നാൽ: BSB BSB: In the tenth year, on the twelfth day of the tenth month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 ULB “മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ ഈജിപ്റ്റ് രാജാവായ ഫറവോന്റെനേരെ മുഖംതിരിച്ച് അവനും എല്ലാ ഈജിപ്റ്റിനും എതിരായി പ്രവചിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടത് എന്തെന്നാൽ: BSB BSB: “Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.
3 ULB യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഈജിപ്റ്റ് രാജാവായ ഫറവോനേ, തന്റെ നദികളുടെ നടുവിൽ കിടന്ന്: ‘ഈ നദി എനിക്കുള്ളതാകുന്നു; ഞാൻ അതിനെ എനിക്കായിട്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു’ എന്നു പറയുന്ന മഹാസത്വമേ, ഞാൻ നിനക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: Speak to him and tell him that this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I am against you, O Pharaoh king of Egypt, O great monster who lies among his rivers, who says, ‘The Nile is mine; I made it myself.’
4 ULB ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ചെകിളയിൽ ചൂണ്ടൽ കൊളുത്തി, നിന്റെ നദികളിലെ മത്സ്യങ്ങളെ നിന്റെ ചെതുമ്പലിൽ പറ്റുമാറാക്കും; നിന്നെ നിന്റെ നദികളുടെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു വലിച്ചുകയറ്റും; നിന്റെ നദികളിലെ മത്സ്യം എല്ലം നിന്റെ ചെതുമ്പലിൽ പറ്റിയിരിക്കും. BSB BSB: But I will put hooks in your jaws and cause the fish of your streams to cling to your scales. I will haul you up out of your rivers, and all the fish of your streams will cling to your scales.
5 ULB ഞാൻ നിന്നെയും നിന്റെ നദികളിലെ മത്സ്യങ്ങളെ എല്ലം മരുഭൂമിയിൽ എറിഞ്ഞുകളയും; നീ വെളിമ്പ്രദേശത്തു വീഴും; ആരും നിന്നെ പെറുക്കുകയോ ശേഖരിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുകയില്ല; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങൾക്കും ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികൾക്കും ഇരയായി കൊടുക്കും. BSB BSB: I will leave you in the desert, you and all the fish of your streams. You will fall on the open field and will not be taken away or gathered for burial. I have given you as food to the beasts of the earth and the birds of the air.
6 ULB ഈജിപ്റ്റ്നിവാസികൾ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന് ഒരു ഓടക്കോലായിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്ന് അവരെല്ലം അറിയും. BSB BSB: Then all the people of Egypt will know that I am the LORD. For you were only a staff of reeds to the house of Israel.
7 ULB അവർ നിന്നെ കയ്യിൽ പിടിച്ചപ്പോൾ തന്നെ നീ ഒടിഞ്ഞ് അവരുടെ തോൾ എല്ലാം കീറിക്കളഞ്ഞു; അവർ ഊന്നിയപ്പോൾ തന്നെ നീ ഒടിഞ്ഞ് അവരുടെ നടുവെല്ലാം കുലുങ്ങുമാറാക്കി”. BSB BSB: When Israel took hold of you with their hands, you splintered, tearing all their shoulders; when they leaned on you, you broke, and their backs were wrenched.
8 ULB അതുകൊണ്ട് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നേരെ വാൾ വരുത്തി നിന്നിൽനിന്ന് മനുഷ്യനെയും മൃഗത്തെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും. BSB BSB: Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: I will bring a sword against you and cut off from you man and beast.
9 ULB ഈജിപ്റ്റ് പാഴും ശൂന്യവുമായിത്തീരും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്ന് അവർ അറിയും; ‘നദി എനിക്കുള്ളതാകുന്നു; ഞാൻ അതിനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു’ എന്ന് അവൻ പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ. BSB BSB: The land of Egypt will become a desolate wasteland. Then they will know that I am the LORD. Because you said, ‘The Nile is mine; I made it,’
10 ULB അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ നിനക്കും നിന്റെ നദികൾക്കും വിരോധമായിരുന്ന് ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ സെവേനെഗോപുരം മുതൽ കൂശിന്റെ അതിർത്തിവരെ അശേഷം പാഴും ശൂന്യവുമാക്കും. BSB BSB: therefore I am against you and against your rivers. I will turn the land of Egypt into a ruin, a desolate wasteland from Migdol to Syene, and as far as the border of Cush.
11 ULB മനുഷ്യന്റെ കാല് അതിൽകൂടി കടന്നുപോകുകയില്ല; മൃഗത്തിന്റെ കാല് അതിൽ ചവിട്ടുകയുമില്ല; നാല്പതു സംവത്സരത്തേക്ക് അതിൽ നിവാസികൾ ഇല്ലാതെയിരിക്കും. BSB BSB: No foot of man or beast will pass through, and it will be uninhabited for forty years.
12 ULB ഞാൻ ഈജിപ്റ്റിനെ ശൂന്യദേശങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ശൂന്യമാക്കും; അതിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ ശൂന്യപട്ടണങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ നാല്പതു സംവത്സരത്തേക്ക് ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കും; ഞാൻ ഈജിപ്റ്റ്നിവാസികളെ ജനതകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഛിന്നിച്ച് ദേശങ്ങളിൽ ചിതറിച്ചുകളയും”. BSB BSB: I will make the land of Egypt a desolation among desolate lands, and her cities will lie desolate for forty years among the ruined cities. And I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them throughout the countries.
13 ULB യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “നാല്പതു സംവത്സരം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ട് ഞാൻ ഈജിപ്റ്റ്നിവാസികളെ അവർ ചിതറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്ന ജനതകളിൽനിന്ന് ശേഖരിക്കും. BSB BSB: For this is what the Lord GOD says: At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the nations to which they were scattered.
14 ULB ഞാൻ ഈജിപ്റ്റിന്റെ പ്രവാസം മാറ്റി, അവരെ അവരുടെ ജന്മദേശമായ പത്രോസ് ദേശത്തേക്കു മടക്കിവരുത്തും; അവിടെ അവർ ഒരു എളിയരാജ്യമായിരിക്കും. BSB BSB: I will restore Egypt from captivity and bring them back to the land of Pathros, the land of their origin. There they will be a lowly kingdom.
15 ULB അത് രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽവച്ച് ഏറ്റവും എളിയരാജ്യമായിരിക്കും; ഇനി ജനതകൾക്കു മേലായി അത് തന്നെത്താൻ ഉയർത്തുകയും ഇല്ല; അവർ ജനതകളുടെമേൽ വാഴാത്തവിധം ഞാൻ അവരെ കുറച്ചുകളയും. BSB BSB: Egypt will be the lowliest of kingdoms and will never again exalt itself above the nations. For I will diminish Egypt so that it will never again rule over the nations.

BSB BSB: Egypt will never again be an object of trust for the house of Israel, but will remind them of their iniquity in turning to the Egyptians. Then they will know that I am the Lord GOD.”
17 ULB ഇരുപത്തേഴാം ആണ്ട്, ഒന്നാം മാസം, ഒന്നാം തീയതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് എനിക്കുണ്ടായത് എന്തെന്നാൽ: BSB BSB: In the twenty-seventh year, on the first day of the first month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
18 ULB “മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ സോരിന്റെ നേരെ തന്റെ സൈന്യത്തെക്കൊണ്ട് കഠിനവേല ചെയ്യിച്ചു; എല്ലാതലയും കഷണ്ടിയായി, എല്ലാചുമലും തോലുരിഞ്ഞുപോയി; എങ്കിലും സോരിനു വിരോധമായി ചെയ്ത വേലയ്ക്കു അവനോ അവന്റെ സൈന്യത്തിനോ അവിടെനിന്നു പ്രതിഫലം കിട്ടിയില്ല”. BSB BSB: “Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon caused his army to labor strenuously against Tyre. Every head was made bald and every shoulder made raw. But he and his army received no wages from Tyre for the labor they expended on it.
19 ULB അതുകൊണ്ട് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഞാൻ ഈജിപ്റ്റിനെ ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിനു കൊടുക്കും; അവൻ അതിലെ സമ്പത്ത് എടുത്ത് അതിനെ കൊള്ളയിട്ട് കവർച്ചചെയ്യും; അത് അവന്റെ സൈന്യത്തിനു പ്രതിഫലമായിരിക്കും. BSB BSB: Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, who will carry off its wealth, seize its spoil, and remove its plunder. This will be the wages for his army.
20 ULB ഞാൻ അവന്, അവൻ ചെയ്തവേലയ്ക്കു പ്രതിഫലമായി ഈജിപ്റ്റിനെ കൊടുക്കുന്നു; അവർ എനിക്കായിട്ടല്ലയോ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചത്” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്. BSB BSB: I have given him the land of Egypt as the reward for his labor, because it was done for Me, declares the Lord GOD.
21 ULB “അന്നാളിൽ ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന് ഒരു കൊമ്പു മുളയ്ക്കുമാറാക്കി, അവരുടെ നടുവിൽ നിനക്ക് തുറന്ന വായ് നല്കും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്ന് അവർ അറിയും”. BSB BSB: In that day I will cause a horn to sprout for the house of Israel, and I will open your mouth to speak among them. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”
