BSB BSB: The LORD said to me: “Son of man, pay attention; look carefully with your eyes and listen closely with your ears to everything I tell you concerning all the statutes and laws of the house of the LORD. Take careful note of the entrance to the temple, along with all the exits of the sanctuary.
6 ULB മത്സരികളായ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തോട് നീ പറയേണ്ടത്:“യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ‘യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹമേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ സകല മ്ലേച്ഛതകളും മതിയാക്കുവിൻ. BSB BSB: Tell the rebellious house of Israel that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I have had enough of all your abominations, O house of Israel.

BSB BSB: In addition to all your other abominations, you brought in foreigners uncircumcised in both heart and flesh to occupy My sanctuary; you defiled My temple when you offered My food—the fat and the blood; you broke My covenant.
8 ULB നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളുടെ കടമകൾ നിറവേറ്റാതെ, എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ കാര്യങ്ങൾ നിറവേറ്റാൻ അവരെ ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു”. BSB BSB: And you have not kept charge of My holy things, but have appointed others to keep charge of My sanctuary for you.’

BSB BSB: This is what the Lord GOD says: No foreigner uncircumcised in heart and flesh may enter My sanctuary—not even a foreigner who lives among the Israelites.

BSB BSB: Surely the Levites who wandered away from Me when Israel went astray, and who wandered away from Me after their idols, will bear the consequences of their iniquity.

BSB BSB: Yet they shall be ministers in My sanctuary, having charge of the gates of the temple and ministering there. They shall slaughter the burnt offerings and other sacrifices for the people and stand before them to minister to them.

BSB BSB: Because they ministered before their idols and became a stumbling block of iniquity to the house of Israel, therefore I swore with an uplifted hand concerning them that they would bear the consequences of their iniquity, declares the Lord GOD.
13 ULB “എനിക്കു പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യുവാനും, അതിവിശുദ്ധങ്ങളായ എന്റെ സകലവിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളെയും സ്പർശിക്കുവാനും, അവർ എന്നോട് അടുത്തുവരരുത്; അങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ അവർ ചെയ്ത മ്ലേച്ഛതകളും അവർ വഹിക്കണം. BSB BSB: They must not approach Me to serve Me as priests or come near any of My holy things or the most holy things. They will bear the shame of the abominations they have committed.

BSB BSB: But the Levitical priests, who are descended from Zadok and who kept charge of My sanctuary when the Israelites went astray from Me, are to approach Me to minister before Me. They will stand before Me to offer Me fat and blood, declares the Lord GOD.
16 ULB അവർ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ കടന്ന് എനിക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന് എന്റെ മേശയുടെ അടുക്കൽ വരുകയും എന്റെ കാര്യവിചാരണ നടത്തുകയും വേണം. BSB BSB: They alone shall enter My sanctuary and draw near to My table to minister before Me. They will keep My charge.
17 ULB എന്നാൽ അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾക്കകത്തു കടക്കുമ്പോൾ അവർ ശണവസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കണം; അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കലും ആലയത്തിനകത്തും ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ ആട്ടിൻ രോമംകൊണ്ടുള്ള വസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കരുത്. BSB BSB: When they enter the gates of the inner court, they are to wear linen garments; they must not wear anything made of wool when they minister at the gates of the inner court or inside the temple.
18 ULB അവരുടെ തലയിൽ ശണംകൊണ്ടുള്ള തലപ്പാവും അരയിൽ ശണംകൊണ്ടുള്ള കാല്ക്കുപ്പായവും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം; വിയർപ്പുണ്ടാകുന്ന യാതൊന്നും അവർ ധരിക്കരുത്. BSB BSB: They are to wear linen turbans on their heads and linen undergarments around their waists. They must not wear anything that makes them perspire.

BSB BSB: When they go out to the outer court, to the people, they are to take off the garments in which they have ministered, leave them in the holy chambers, and dress in other clothes so that they do not transmit holiness to the people with their garments.
20 ULB അവർ തല ക്ഷൗരം ചെയ്യുകയോ തലമുടി നീട്ടുകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ കത്രിക്കുക മാത്രമേ ചെയ്യാവു. BSB BSB: They must not shave their heads or let their hair grow long, but must carefully trim their hair.
21 ULB യാതൊരു പുരോഹിതനും വീഞ്ഞു കുടിച്ച് അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിൽ കടക്കരുത്. BSB BSB: No priest may drink wine before he enters the inner court.
22 ULB വിധവയെയോ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവളെയോ ഭാര്യയായി എടുക്കാതെ അവർ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിലെ സന്തതിയിലുള്ള കന്യകമാരെയോ ഒരു പുരോഹിതന്റെ ഭാര്യയായിരുന്ന വിധവയെയോ വിവാഹം കഴിക്കണം. BSB BSB: And they shall not marry a widow or a divorced woman, but must marry a virgin of the descendants of the house of Israel, or a widow of a priest.

BSB BSB: In any dispute, they shall officiate as judges and judge according to My ordinances. They must keep My laws and statutes regarding all My appointed feasts, and they must keep My Sabbaths holy.

BSB BSB: A priest must not defile himself by going near a dead person. However, for a father, a mother, a son, a daughter, a brother, or an unmarried sister, he may do so,
26 ULB അവന്റെ ശുദ്ധീകരണം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം ഏഴു ദിവസം എണ്ണണം. BSB BSB: and after he is cleansed, he must count off seven days for himself.
27 ULB വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന് അവൻ അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിൽ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലേക്കു പോകുന്ന ദിവസത്തിൽ അവൻ പാപയാഗം അർപ്പിക്കണം” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്. BSB BSB: And on the day he goes into the sanctuary, into the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he must present his sin offering, declares the Lord GOD.
28 ULB അവരുടെ അവകാശമോ, ഞാൻ തന്നെ അവരുടെ അവകാശം; നിങ്ങൾ അവർക്ക് യിസ്രായേലിൽ സ്വത്ത് ഒന്നും കൊടുക്കരുത്; ഞാൻ തന്നെ അവരുടെ സ്വത്താകുന്നു. BSB BSB: In regard to their inheritance, I am their inheritance. You are to give them no possession in Israel, for I am their possession.
29 ULB അവർ ഭോജനയാഗം, പാപയാഗം, അകൃത്യയാഗം എന്നിവകൊണ്ട് ഉപജീവനം കഴിക്കണം; യിസ്രായേലിൽ നിവേദിതമായ സകലവും അവർക്കുള്ളതായിരിക്കണം. BSB BSB: They shall eat the grain offerings, the sin offerings, and the guilt offerings. Everything in Israel devoted to the LORD will belong to them.
30 ULB സകലവിധ ആദ്യഫലങ്ങളിലും ഉത്തമമായതും വഴിപാടായി വരുന്ന എല്ലാവക വഴിപാടുകളും പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കുള്ളതായിരിക്കണം; നിന്റെ ഭവനത്തിന്മേൽ അനുഗ്രഹം വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന് നിങ്ങളുടെ തരിമാവിന്റെ ആദ്യഭാഗവും പുരോഹിതനു കൊടുക്കണം. BSB BSB: The best of all the firstfruits and of every contribution from all your offerings will belong to the priests. You are to give your first batch of dough to the priest, so that a blessing may rest upon your homes.
31 ULB സ്വയം ചത്തതും പറിച്ചുകീറിപ്പോയതുമായ പക്ഷിയെയോ മൃഗത്തെയോ ഒന്നിനെയും പുരോഹിതൻ തിന്നരുത്. BSB BSB: The priests may not eat any bird or animal found dead or torn by wild beasts.
