With them was another man clothed in linen who had a writing kit at his side. And they came in and stood beside the bronze altar.

BSB BSB: “Go throughout the city of Jerusalem,” said the LORD, “and put a mark on the foreheads of the men sighing and groaning over all the abominations committed there.”
5 ULB മറ്റുള്ളവരോട് ഞാൻ കേൾക്കെ അവിടുന്ന്: “നിങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ പിന്നാലെ നഗരത്തിൽകൂടി ചെന്നു വെട്ടുവിൻ! നിങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണിനു ആദരവു തോന്നരുത്; നിങ്ങൾ കരുണ കാണിക്കുകയുമരുത്. BSB BSB: And as I listened, He said to the others, “Follow him through the city and start killing; do not show pity or spare anyone!
6 ULB വൃദ്ധന്മാരെയും യൗവനക്കാരെയും കന്യകമാരെയും കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെയും സ്ത്രീകളെയും കൊന്നുകളയുവിൻ! എന്നാൽ അടയാളമുള്ള ഒരുത്തനെയും തൊടരുത്; എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ തന്നെ തുടങ്ങുവിൻ” എന്ന് കല്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ അവർ ആലയത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ തുടങ്ങി. BSB BSB: Slaughter the old men, the young men and maidens, the women and children; but do not go near anyone who has the mark. Now begin at My sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who were before the temple.

BSB BSB: Then He told them, “Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go forth!” So they went out and began killing throughout the city.

BSB BSB: While they were killing, I was left alone. And I fell facedown and cried out, “Oh, Lord GOD, when You pour out Your wrath on Jerusalem, will You destroy the entire remnant of Israel?”
9 ULB അതിന് അവിടുന്ന് എന്നോട്: “യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്റെയും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തിന്റെയും അകൃത്യം ഏറ്റവും വലുതായിരിക്കുന്നു; ദേശം രക്തപാതകംകൊണ്ടും നഗരം അന്യായംകൊണ്ടും നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; ‘യഹോവ ദേശത്തെ വിട്ടുപോയിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ കാണുന്നില്ല’ എന്ന് അവർ പറയുന്നുവല്ലോ. BSB BSB: He replied, “The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great. The land is full of bloodshed, and the city is full of perversity. For they say, ‘The LORD has forsaken the land; the LORD does not see.’
10 ULB ഞാനോ എന്റെ കണ്ണിന് ആദരവു തോന്നാതെയും ഞാൻ കരുണ കാണിക്കാതെയും അവരുടെ നടപ്പിനു തക്കവണ്ണം അവരുടെ തലമേൽ പകരം കൊടുക്കും”എന്ന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു. BSB BSB: But as for Me, I will not look on them with pity, nor will I spare them. I will bring their deeds down upon their own heads.”
11 ULB ശണവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ച് അരയിൽ മഷിക്കുപ്പിയുമായുള്ള പുരുഷൻ: “എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാൻ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു”എന്ന് ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു. BSB BSB: Then the man clothed in linen with the writing kit at his side reported back, “I have done as You commanded.”
