5 ULB യഹോവ പിന്നെയും എന്നോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത് എന്തെന്നാൽ: BSB BSB: And the LORD spoke to me further:
6 ULB “ഈ ജനം സാവധാനത്തോടെ ഒഴുകുന്ന ശീലോഹാവെള്ളത്തെ നിരസിച്ചു രെസീനിലും രെമല്യാവിൻമകനിലും സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ട്, BSB BSB: “Because this people has rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah and rejoiced in Rezin and the son of Remaliah,
7 ULB അതുകാരണത്താൽ തന്നെ, യഹോവ നദിയിലെ ബലമേറിയ പെരുവെള്ളത്തെ, അശ്ശൂർരാജാവിനെയും അവന്റെ സകലമഹത്ത്വത്തെയും തന്നെ, അവരുടെമേൽ വരുത്തും; അത് അതിന്റെ എല്ലാതോടുകളിലും പൊങ്ങി അതിന്റെ എല്ലാകരകളെയും കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകും. 10 ULB കൂടി ആലോചിച്ചുകൊള്ളുവിൻ; അതു നിഷ്ഫലമായിത്തീരും; കാര്യം പറഞ്ഞുറക്കുവിൻ; അതു നിലനില്ക്കുകയില്ല; ദൈവം ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടി ഉണ്ട്. BSB BSB: Devise a plan, but it will be thwarted; state a proposal, but it will not happen. For God is with us.”
11 ULB യഹോവ ബലമുള്ള കൈകൊണ്ട് എന്നെ പിടിച്ച് എന്നോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു; ഞാൻ ഈ ജനത്തിന്റെ വഴിയിൽ നടക്കാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് എനിക്ക് ഉപദേശിച്ചുതന്നത് എന്തെന്നാൽ: BSB BSB: For this is what the LORD has spoken to me with a strong hand, instructing me not to walk in the way of this people:

13 ULB സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുവിൻ; അവിടുന്ന് തന്നെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭയവും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭീതിയും ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ. BSB BSB: The LORD of Hosts is the One you shall regard as holy. Only He should be feared; only He should be dreaded.
14 ULB എന്നാൽ അവൻ ഒരു വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരമായിരിക്കും; എങ്കിലും യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിനു രണ്ടിനും അവൻ ഒരു ഇടർച്ചക്കല്ലും തടങ്ങൽപാറയും യെരൂശലേം നിവാസികൾക്ക് ഒരു കുടുക്കും കെണിയും ആയിരിക്കും. BSB BSB: And He will be a sanctuary—but to both houses of Israel a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, to the dwellers of Jerusalem a trap and a snare.

16 ULB സാക്ഷ്യം പൊതിഞ്ഞുകെട്ടുക; എന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഉപദേശം മുദ്രയിട്ടു വയ്ക്കുക. BSB BSB: Bind up the testimony and seal the law among my disciples.
17 ULB ഞാനോ യാക്കോബ് ഗൃഹത്തിന് തന്റെ മുഖം മറച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ യഹോവയ്ക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുകയും പ്രത്യാശിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. BSB BSB: I will wait for the LORD, who is hiding His face from the house of Jacob. I will put my trust in Him.
18 ULB ഇതാ, ഞാനും യഹോവ എനിക്കു തന്ന മക്കളും സീയോൻപർവ്വതത്തിൽ അധിവസിക്കുന്ന സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയാൽ യിസ്രായേലിൽ അടയാളങ്ങളും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും ആയിരിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: Here am I, and the children the LORD has given me as signs and symbols in Israel from the LORD of Hosts, who dwells on Mount Zion.
20 ULB ഉപദേശത്തിനും സാക്ഷ്യത്തിനും വരുവിൻ!” അവർ ഈ വാക്കുപോലെ പറയുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ- അവർക്ക് അരുണോദയം ഉണ്ടാവുകയില്ല. BSB BSB: To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.

BSB BSB: They will roam the land, dejected and hungry. When they are famished, they will become enraged; and looking upward, they will curse their king and their God.
22 ULB അവർ ഭൂമിയിൽ നോക്കുമ്പോൾ കഷ്ടതയും അന്ധകാരവും സങ്കടമുള്ള തിമിരവും കാണും; കൂരിരുട്ടിലേക്ക് അവരെ തള്ളിക്കളയും. BSB BSB: Then they will look to the earth and see only distress and darkness and the gloom of anguish. And they will be driven into utter darkness.
