1. 1ULBയോശീയാവിന്റെ മകനും യെഹൂദാരാജാവുമായ യെഹോയാക്കീമിന്റെ നാലാം ആണ്ടിൽ, നേര്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ബാരൂക്ക് ഈ വചനങ്ങൾ യിരെമ്യാവിന്റെ വാമൊഴിപ്രകാരം ഒരു പുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയപ്പോൾ യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞ വചനം എന്തെന്നാൽ:BSBBSB: This is the word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch son of Neriah when he wrote these words on a scroll at the dictation of Jeremiah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah, king of Judah:
2. 2ULB“ബാരൂക്കേ, നിന്നോട് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു:BSBBSB: “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says to you, Baruch:
3. 3ULB‘യഹോവ എന്റെ വേദനയോടു ദുഃഖം കൂട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എനിക്ക് അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഞരക്കംകൊണ്ടു തളർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഒരു ആശ്വാസവും കാണുന്നില്ല’ എന്ന് നീ പറയുന്നുവല്ലോ.BSBBSB: You have said, ‘Woe is me because the LORD has added sorrow to my pain! I am worn out with groaning and have found no rest.’”
4. 4ULBഞാൻ പണിതത് ഞാൻ തന്നെ ഇടിച്ചുകളയുന്നു; ഞാൻ നട്ടത് ഞാൻ തന്നെ പറിച്ചുകളയുന്നു; ഭൂമിയിൽ എങ്ങും അത് അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ.BSBBSB: Thus Jeremiah was to say to Baruch: “This is what the LORD says: Throughout the land I will demolish what I have built and uproot what I have planted.
5. 5ULBഎന്നാൽ നീ നിനക്കായിട്ട് വലിയ കാര്യങ്ങൾ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നുവോ? ആഗ്രഹിക്കരുത്; ഞാൻ സർവ്വജഡത്തിനും അനർത്ഥം വരുത്തും” എന്ന് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്; “എങ്കിലും നീ പോകുന്ന എല്ലാ സ്ഥലത്തും ഒരു കൊള്ളപോലെ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ജീവനെ നിനക്ക് തരും എന്നിങ്ങനെ നീ അവനോടു പറയണം” എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.BSBBSB: But as for you, do you seek great things for yourself? Stop seeking! For I will bring disaster on every living creature, declares the LORD, but wherever you go, I will grant your life as a spoil of war.”
