BSB BSB: For we have heard how the LORD dried up the waters of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to Sihon and Og, the two kings of the Amorites across the Jordan, whom you devoted to destruction.
11 ULB കേട്ടപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം ഉരുകി; നിങ്ങളുടെ നിമിത്തം എല്ലാവർക്കും ധൈര്യം ചോർന്നുപോയി; നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ തന്നെ മീതെ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലും താഴെ ഭൂമിയിലും ദൈവം ആകുന്നു. BSB BSB: When we heard this, our hearts melted and everyone’s courage failed because of you, for the LORD your God is God in the heavens above and on the earth below.
12 ULB ആകയാൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോട് ദയ ചെയ്കകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങളും എന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തോട് ദയ ചെയ്ത് BSB BSB: Now therefore, please swear to me by the LORD that you will indeed show kindness to my family, because I showed kindness to you. Give me a sure sign
13 ULB എന്റെ അപ്പനെയും അമ്മയെയും സഹോദരന്മാരെയും സഹോദരിമാരെയും അവർക്കുള്ള സകലത്തെയും ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിച്ച് ഞങ്ങളെ മരണത്തിൽനിന്ന് വിടുവിക്കുമെന്ന് യഹോവയെച്ചൊല്ലി എന്നോട് സത്യംചെയ്കയും ഉറപ്പുള്ള ഒരു അടയാളംതരികയും വേണം.“ BSB BSB: that you will spare the lives of my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all who belong to them, and that you will deliver us from death.”

BSB BSB: unless, when we enter the land, you have tied this scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down, and unless you have brought your father and mother and brothers and all your family into your house.

But if a hand is laid on anyone with you in the house, his blood will be on our heads.

BSB BSB: So the spies went out into the hill country and stayed there three days, until their pursuers had returned without finding them, having searched all along the road.
23 ULB അങ്ങനെ അവർ ഇരുവരും പർവതത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഇറങ്ങി അക്കരെ കടന്ന് നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്ന് തങ്ങൾക്ക് സംഭവിച്ചത് ഒക്കെയും അവനെ അറിയിച്ചു. BSB BSB: Then the two men started back, came down from the hill country, and crossed the river. So they came to Joshua son of Nun and reported all that had happened to them.
24 ULB “യഹോവ നിശ്ചയമായും ദേശമൊക്കെയും നമ്മുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ദേശത്തിലെ നിവാസികൾ എല്ലാവരും നമ്മുടെ നിമിത്തം ഉരുകിപ്പോകുന്നു“എന്ന് അവർ യോശുവയോട് പറഞ്ഞു. BSB BSB: “The LORD has surely delivered the entire land into our hands,” they said to Joshua. “Indeed, all who dwell in the land are melting in fear of us.”
