1 ULB യഹോവ സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിൽവച്ചു മോശെയെ വിളിച്ച് അവനോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത്: BSB BSB: Then the LORD called to Moses and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting, saying,
2 ULB “നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു സംസാരിച്ച് അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടത് എന്തെന്നാൽ: ‘നിങ്ങളിൽ ആരെങ്കിലും യഹോവയ്ക്കു വഴിപാടു കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ കന്നുകാലികളോ ആടുകളോ ആയ മൃഗങ്ങളെ വഴിപാടു കൊണ്ടുവരണം. BSB BSB: “Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When any of you brings an offering to the LORD, you may bring as your offering an animal from the herd or the flock.
3 ULB “‘അവൻ വഴിപാടായി കന്നുകാലികളിൽ ഒന്നിനെ ഹോമയാഗം കഴിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ആണിനെ അർപ്പിക്കണം; യഹോവയുടെ പ്രസാദം ലഭിക്കുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവൻ അതിനെ സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കൽവച്ച് അർപ്പിക്കണം. BSB BSB: If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he is to present an unblemished male. He must bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting for its acceptance before the LORD.
4 ULB അവൻ ഹോമയാഗമൃഗത്തിന്റെ തലയിൽ കൈ വയ്ക്കണം; എന്നാൽ ഹോമയാഗമൃഗം അവനുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം വരുത്തുവാൻ അവന്റെ പേർക്കു സ്വീകാര്യമാകും. BSB BSB: He is to lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, so it can be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him.
5 ULB അവൻ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ കാളക്കിടാവിനെ അറുക്കണം; അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ അതിന്റെ രക്തം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിക്കൽ ഉള്ള യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ ചുറ്റും തളിക്കണം. BSB BSB: And he shall slaughter the young bull before the LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests are to present the blood and splatter it on all sides of the altar at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
6 ULB അവൻ ഹോമയാഗമൃഗത്തെ തോലുരിച്ചു കഷണംകഷണമായി മുറിക്കണം. BSB BSB: Next, he is to skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.
7 ULB പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ വിറക് അടുക്കി തീ കത്തിക്കണം. BSB BSB: The sons of Aaron the priest shall put a fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.
8 ULB പിന്നെ അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ കഷണങ്ങളും തലയും കൊഴുപ്പും യാഗപീഠത്തിൽ തീയുടെമേലുള്ള വിറകിന്മീതെ അടുക്കിവയ്ക്കണം. BSB BSB: Then Aaron’s sons the priests are to arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat, atop the burning wood on the altar.
9 ULB അതിന്റെ കുടലും കാലും അവൻ വെള്ളത്തിൽ കഴുകണം. പുരോഹിതൻ സകലവും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ ഹോമയാഗമായി ദഹിപ്പിക്കണം; അത് യഹോവയ്ക്കു സൗരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗം. BSB BSB: The entrails and legs must be washed with water, and the priest shall burn all of it on the altar as a burnt offering, a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.
10 ULB “‘ഹോമയാഗത്തിനുള്ള അവന്റെ വഴിപാടു ആട്ടിൻകൂട്ടത്തിലെ ഒരു ചെമ്മരിയാടോ കോലാടോ ആകുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ആണിനെ അവൻ അർപ്പിക്കണം. BSB BSB: If, however, one’s offering is a burnt offering from the flock—from the sheep or goats—he is to present an unblemished male.
11 ULB അവൻ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ വടക്കുവശത്തുവച്ച് അതിനെ അറുക്കണം; അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ അതിന്റെ രക്തം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ ചുറ്റും തളിക്കണം. BSB BSB: He shall slaughter it on the north side of the altar before the LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests are to splatter its blood against the altar on all sides.
12 ULB അവൻ അതിനെ തലയോടും മേദസ്സോടുംകൂടി കഷണംകഷണമായി മുറിക്കണം; പുരോഹിതൻ അവയെ യാഗപീഠത്തിൽ തീയുടെമേലുള്ള വിറകിന്മീതെ അടുക്കിവയ്ക്കണം. BSB BSB: He is to cut the animal into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and fat, atop the burning wood that is on the altar.
13 ULB കുടലും കാലും അവൻ വെള്ളത്തിൽ കഴുകണം; പുരോഹിതൻ സകലവും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ഹോമയാഗമായി യഹോവയ്ക്കു സൗരഭ്യവാസനയുള്ള ദഹനയാഗമായി യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ ദഹിപ്പിക്കണം. BSB BSB: The entrails and legs must be washed with water, and the priest shall present all of it and burn it on the altar; it is a burnt offering, a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.
14 ULB “‘യഹോവയ്ക്ക് അവന്റെ വഴിപാടു പറവജാതിയിൽ ഒന്നിനെക്കൊണ്ടുള്ള ഹോമയാഗമാകുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവൻ കുറുപ്രാവിനെയോ പ്രാവിൻകുഞ്ഞിനെയോ വഴിപാടായി അർപ്പിക്കണം. BSB BSB: If, instead, one’s offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, he is to present a turtledove or a young pigeon.
15 ULB പുരോഹിതൻ അതിനെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു തല പിരിച്ചുപറിച്ചു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ ദഹിപ്പിക്കണം; അതിന്റെ രക്തം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ വശത്ത് പിഴിഞ്ഞുകളയണം. BSB BSB: Then the priest shall bring it to the altar, twist off its head, and burn it on the altar; its blood should be drained out on the side of the altar.
16 ULB അതിന്റെ ആമാശയം മലത്തോടുകൂടി പറിച്ചെടുത്ത് യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ അരികിൽ കിഴക്കുവശത്തു ചാരമിടുന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് ഇടണം. BSB BSB: And he is to remove the crop with its contents and throw it to the east side of the altar, in the place for ashes.
17 ULB അതിനെ രണ്ടാക്കാതെ ചിറകോടുകൂടി പിളർക്കണം; പുരോഹിതൻ അതിനെ യാഗപീഠത്തിൽ തീയുടെമേലുള്ള വിറകിന്മീതെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കണം; അതു ഹോമയാഗമായി യഹോവയ്ക്കു സൗരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗം. BSB BSB: He shall tear it open by its wings, without dividing the bird completely. And the priest is to burn it on the altar atop the burning wood. It is a burnt offering, a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.
