3 ULB നിങ്ങൾ പാർത്തിരുന്ന ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ നടപ്പുപോലെ നിങ്ങൾ നടക്കരുത്; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന കനാൻദേശത്തിലെ നടപ്പുപോലെയും അരുത്; അവരുടെ ചട്ടങ്ങളിൽ നിങ്ങൾ നടക്കുകയുമരുത്. BSB BSB: You must not follow the practices of the land of Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not follow the practices of the land of Canaan, into which I am bringing you. You must not walk in their customs.
4 ULB എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുസരിച്ച് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടക്കണം; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു. BSB BSB: You are to practice My judgments and keep My statutes by walking in them. I am the LORD your God.
5 ULB ആകയാൽ എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും ന്യായങ്ങളും നിങ്ങൾ പ്രമാണിക്കണം; അവയെ ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ അവയാൽ ജീവിക്കും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു. BSB BSB: Keep My statutes and My judgments, for the man who does these things will live by them. I am the LORD.
7 ULB നിന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ നഗ്നതയും അമ്മയുടെ നഗ്നതയും അനാവൃതമാക്കരുത്. അവൾ നിന്റെ അമ്മയാകുന്നു; അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുത്. BSB BSB: You must not expose the nakedness of your father by having sexual relations with your mother. She is your mother; you must not have sexual relations with her.
8 ULB അപ്പന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുത്; അതു നിന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ നഗ്നതയല്ലോ. BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with your father’s wife; it would dishonor your father.
9 ULB അപ്പന്റെ മകളോ അമ്മയുടെ മകളോ ആയ നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുത്; വീട്ടിൽ ജനിച്ചവരായാലും അന്യദേശത്ത് ജനിച്ചവരായാലും അവരുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുത്. BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with your sister, either your father’s daughter or your mother’s daughter, whether she was born in the same home or elsewhere.
10 ULB നിന്റെ മകന്റെ മകളുടെ നഗ്നതയോ മകളുടെ മകളുടെ നഗ്നതയോ അനാവൃതമാക്കരുത്; അവരുടെ നഗ്നത നിന്റേതു തന്നെയല്ലോ. BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter, for that would shame your family.
11 ULB നിന്റെ അപ്പനു ജനിച്ചവളും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ മകളുമായവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുത്; അവൾ നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയല്ലോ. BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with the daughter of your father’s wife, born to your father; she is your sister.
12 ULB അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുത്; അവൾ അപ്പന്റെ അടുത്ത ചാർച്ചക്കാരത്തിയല്ലോ. BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with your father’s sister; she is your father’s close relative.
13 ULB അമ്മയുടെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുത്; അവൾ നിന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ അടുത്ത ചാർച്ചക്കാരത്തിയല്ലോ. BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with your mother’s sister, for she is your mother’s close relative.
14 ULB അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുത്; അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയോട് അടുക്കയുമരുത്; അവൾ നിന്റെ ഇളയമ്മയല്ലോ. BSB BSB: You must not dishonor your father’s brother by approaching his wife to have sexual relations with her; she is your aunt.
15 ULB നിന്റെ മരുമകളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുത്; അവൾ നിന്റെ മകന്റെ ഭാര്യ അല്ലോ; അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുത്. BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law. She is your son’s wife; you are not to have sexual relations with her.
16 ULB സഹോദരന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുത്; അതു നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ നഗ്നതയല്ലോ. BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with your brother’s wife; that would shame your brother.
17 ULB ഒരു സ്ത്രീയുടെയും അവളുടെ മകളുടെയും നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുത്; അവളുടെ മകന്റെ മകളുടെയോ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവളുടെ മകളുടെ മകളുടെയോ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറ് അവരെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കരുത്: അവർ അടുത്ത ചാർച്ചക്കാരല്ലോ; അതു ദുഷ്കർമ്മം. BSB BSB: You must not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter. You are not to marry her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter and have sexual relations with her. They are close relatives; it is depraved.

19 ULB ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ഋതു നിമിത്തം അശുദ്ധയായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറ് അവളോട് അടുക്കരുത്. BSB BSB: You must not approach a woman to have sexual relations with her during her menstrual period.
20 ULB കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടി ശയിച്ച് അവളെക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധനാക്കരുത്. BSB BSB: You must not lie carnally with your neighbor’s wife and thus defile yourself with her.
22 ULB സ്ത്രീയോട് എന്നപോലെ പുരുഷനോടുകൂടി ശയിക്കരുത്; അതു മ്ലേച്ഛത. BSB BSB: You must not lie with a man as with a woman; that is an abomination.
23 ULB യാതൊരു മൃഗത്തോടുംകൂടി ശയിച്ച് അതിനാൽ നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധനാക്കരുത്; യാതൊരു സ്ത്രീയും ഒരു മൃഗത്തോടു കൂടി ശയിക്കേണ്ടതിന് അതിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നില്ക്കുകയും അരുത്; അത് നികൃഷ്ടം. BSB BSB: You must not lie carnally with any animal, thus defiling yourself with it; a woman must not stand before an animal to mate with it; that is a perversion.
25 ULB ദേശവും അശുദ്ധമായിത്തീർന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അതിന്റെ അകൃത്യം അതിന്മേൽ സന്ദർശിക്കുന്നു; ദേശം തന്റെ നിവാസികളെ ഛർദ്ദിച്ചുകളയുന്നു. BSB BSB: Even the land has become defiled, so I am punishing it for its sin, and the land will vomit out its inhabitants.
26 ULB ഈ മ്ലേച്ഛത സകലവും നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പേ ആ ദേശത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്ന മനുഷ്യർ ചെയ്തു, ദേശം അശുദ്ധമായി തീർന്നു. BSB BSB: But you are to keep My statutes and ordinances, and you must not commit any of these abominations—neither your native-born nor the foreigner who lives among you.
27 ULB നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ജനതകളെ ദേശം ഛർദ്ദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതുപോലെ നിങ്ങൾ അതിനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയിട്ടു നിങ്ങളെയും ഛർദ്ദിച്ചുകളയാതിരിക്കുവാൻ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും പ്രമാണിക്കണം; BSB BSB: For the men who were in the land before you committed all these abominations, and the land has become defiled.
28 ULB ഈ മ്ലേച്ഛതകളിൽ യാതൊന്നും സ്വദേശിയാകട്ടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന പരദേശിയാകട്ടെ ചെയ്യരുത്. BSB BSB: So if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it spewed out the nations before you.
29 ULB ആരെങ്കിലും ഈ സകലമ്ലേച്ഛതകളിൽ ഏതെങ്കിലും ചെയ്താൽ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നവരെ അവരുടെ ജനത്തിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയണം. BSB BSB: Therefore anyone who commits any of these abominations must be cut off from among his people.
30 ULB ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പ് നടന്ന ഈ മ്ലേച്ഛമായ ആചാരങ്ങളിൽ യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യാതെയും അവയാൽ നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ അശുദ്ധരാകാതെയും ഇരിക്കുവാൻ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ കൽപ്പനകൾ പ്രമാണിക്കണം; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.’” BSB BSB: You must keep My charge not to practice any of the abominable customs that were practiced before you, so that you do not defile yourselves by them. I am the LORD your God.”
