2 ULB അപ്പോൾ ഒരു കുഷ്ഠരോഗി വന്നു അവനെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു, കർത്താവേ, നിനക്ക് മനസ്സുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ എന്നെ ശുദ്ധമാക്കുവാൻ കഴിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. BSB BSB: Suddenly a leper came and knelt before Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”

6 ULB കർത്താവേ, എന്റെ വേലക്കാരൻ തളർവാതം പിടിച്ച് കഠിനമായി വേദനപ്പെട്ട് വീട്ടിൽ കിടക്കുന്നു എന്നു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു. BSB BSB: “Lord, my servant lies at home, paralyzed and in terrible agony.”
7 ULB യേശു അവനോട്: ഞാൻ വന്നു അവനെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. BSB BSB: “I will go and heal him,” Jesus replied.
8 ULB അതിന് ശതാധിപൻ: കർത്താവേ, നീ എന്റെ വീടിനകത്ത് വരുവാൻ ഞാൻ യോഗ്യനല്ല; ഒരു വാക്കുമാത്രം കല്പിച്ചാൽ എന്റെ വേലക്കാരന് സൌഖ്യം വരും. BSB BSB: The centurion answered, “Lord, I am not worthy to have You come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

BSB BSB: For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell one to go, and he goes, and another to come, and he comes. I tell my servant to do something, and he does it.”

BSB BSB: When Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those following Him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.
11 ULB കിഴക്കുനിന്നും പടിഞ്ഞാറുനിന്നും അനേകർ വന്നു അബ്രഹാമിനോടും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടും യാക്കോബിനോടും കൂടെ സ്വർഗ്ഗരാജ്യത്തിൽ പന്തിയിലിരിക്കും. BSB BSB: I say to you that many will come from the east and the west to share the banquet with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
12 ULB രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെയോ ഏറ്റവും പുറത്തുള്ള ഇരുളിലേക്ക് തള്ളിക്കളയും; അവിടെ കരച്ചിലും പല്ലുകടിയും ഉണ്ടാകും എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു. BSB BSB: But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
13 ULB പിന്നെ യേശു ശതാധിപനോട്: പോക, നീ വിശ്വസിച്ചതുപോലെ നിനക്ക് ഭവിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ആ സമയം തന്നേ അവന്റെ വേലക്കാരന് സൌഖ്യം വന്നു. BSB BSB: Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! As you have believed, so will it be done for you.” And his servant was healed at that very hour.
15 ULB അവൻ അവളുടെ കയ്യിൽ തൊട്ടു പനി അവളെ വിട്ടുമാറി; അവൾ എഴുന്നേറ്റ് അവർക്ക് ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്തു. BSB BSB: So He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she got up and began to serve Him.

20 ULB യേശു അവനോട്: കുറുനരികൾക്ക് കുഴികളും ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവകൾക്ക് കൂടുകളും ഉണ്ട്; മനുഷ്യപുത്രനോ തലചായിപ്പാൻ ഇടം ഇല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. BSB BSB: Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.”
21 ULB ശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ മറ്റൊരുവൻ അവനോട്: കർത്താവേ, ഞാൻ മുമ്പേപോയി എന്റെ അപ്പനെ അടക്കം ചെയ്‌വാൻ അനുവാദം തരേണം എന്നുപറഞ്ഞു. BSB BSB: Another of His disciples requested, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
22 ULB യേശു അവനോട്: “നീ എന്നെ അനുഗമിക്ക, മരിച്ചവർ തങ്ങളുടെ മരിച്ചവരെ അടക്കം ചെയ്യുവാനായി അവരെ വിട്ടയയ്ക്ക” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. BSB BSB: But Jesus told him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”
23 ULB പിന്നെ യേശു പടകിൽ കയറിയപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അവനോട് കൂടെ ചെന്ന്. BSB BSB: When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.
24 ULB അപ്പോൾ കടലിൽ വലിയ ഓളം ഉണ്ടായിട്ട് പടക് തിരകളാൽ മുങ്ങുമാറായി; യേശുവോ ഉറങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു. BSB BSB: Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was engulfed by the waves. But Jesus was sleeping.

26 ULB യേശു അവരോട്: അല്പവിശ്വാസികളേ, നിങ്ങൾ ഭീരുക്കൾ ആകുവാൻ എന്ത് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞശേഷം എഴുന്നേറ്റ് കാറ്റിനേയും കടലിനേയും ശാസിച്ചു വലിയ ശാന്തതയുണ്ടായി. BSB BSB: “You of little faith,” Jesus replied, “why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm.
27 ULB അപ്പോൾ ആ മനുഷ്യർ ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ട്: ഇവൻ എങ്ങനെയുള്ളവൻ? കാറ്റും കടലും കൂടെ ഇവനെ അനുസരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. BSB BSB: The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey Him!”
28 ULB അവൻ അക്കരെ ഗദരേന്യരുടെ ദേശത്തു എത്തിയപ്പോൾ രണ്ടു ഭൂതഗ്രസ്തർ ശവക്കല്ലറകളിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു അവന് എതിരെ വന്നു; അവർ അക്രമാസക്തർ ആയിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് ആർക്കും ആ വഴി നടക്കുവാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല. BSB BSB: When Jesus arrived on the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, He was met by two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.
29 ULB അവർ അവനോട് നിലവിളിച്ചു: ദൈവപുത്രാ, ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് നിനക്കുമായിട്ട് എന്ത് കാര്യം? നിശ്ചയിച്ച സമയത്തിനു മുമ്പെ ഞങ്ങളെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിപ്പാൻ ഇവിടെ വന്നുവോ എന്നു നിലവിളിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞു. BSB BSB: “What do You want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have You come here to torture us before the appointed time?”

32 ULB പൊയ്ക്കൊൾവിൻ എന്നു അവൻ അവരോട് പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ടു പന്നികളിലേക്ക് ചെന്ന്; ആ കൂട്ടം എല്ലാം കുത്തനെയുള്ള മലയിറങ്ങി കടലിലേക്ക് പാഞ്ഞു വെള്ളത്തിൽ മുങ്ങി ചത്തു. BSB BSB: “Go!” He told them. So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and died in the waters.
33 ULB മേയ്ക്കുന്നവർ ഓടി പട്ടണത്തിൽ ചെന്ന് ഭൂതഗ്രസ്തർക്ക് സംഭവിച്ചത് ഒക്കെയും അറിയിച്ചു. BSB BSB: Those tending the pigs ran off into the town and reported all this, including the account of the demon-possessed men.
34 ULB ഉടനെ പട്ടണത്തിലുള്ളവരെല്ലാം പുറപ്പെട്ടു യേശുവിനെ കാണുവാൻ ചെന്ന്; അവനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ തങ്ങളുടെ പ്രദേശം വിട്ടു പോകണമെന്ന് അപേക്ഷിച്ചു. BSB BSB: Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.
