BSB BSB: “Speak to the Israelites and take from them twelve staffs, one from the leader of each tribe. Write each man’s name on his staff,
3 ULB ലേവിയുടെ വടിമേലോ അഹരോന്റെ പേരെഴുതണം; ഓരോ ഗോത്രത്തലവന് ഓരോ വടി ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം. BSB BSB: and write Aaron’s name on the staff of Levi, because there must be one staff for the head of each tribe.
4 ULB സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് വെളിപ്പെടുന്ന സ്ഥാനമായ സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ അവ വെക്കണം. BSB BSB: Place the staffs in the Tent of Meeting in front of the Testimony, where I meet with you.
5 ULB ഞാൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്നവന്റെ വടി തളിർക്കും; ഇങ്ങനെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് വിരോധമായി പിറുപിറുക്കുന്നത് ഞാൻ നിർത്തലാക്കും”. BSB BSB: The staff belonging to the man I choose will sprout, and I will rid Myself of the constant grumbling of the Israelites against you.”
6 ULB മോശെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോട് സംസാരിച്ചു; അവരുടെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും ഗോത്രംഗോത്രമായി ഓരോരുത്തരും ഓരോ വടിവീതം പന്ത്രണ്ട് വടി അവന്റെ പക്കൽ കൊടുത്തു; വടികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ അഹരോന്റെ വടിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. BSB BSB: So Moses spoke to the Israelites, and each of their leaders gave him a staff—one for each of the leaders of their tribes, twelve staffs in all. And Aaron’s staff was among them.
7 ULB മോശെ വടികൾ സാക്ഷ്യകൂടാരത്തിൽ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വച്ചു. BSB BSB: Then Moses placed the staffs before the LORD in the Tent of the Testimony.
8 ULB പിറ്റെന്നാൾ മോശെ സാക്ഷ്യകൂടാരത്തിൽ കടന്നപ്പോൾ ലേവിഗൃഹത്തിനുള്ള അഹരോന്റെ വടി തളിർത്തിരിക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടു; അത് തളിർത്ത് പൂത്ത് ബദാം ഫലം കായിച്ചിരുന്നു. BSB BSB: The next day Moses entered the Tent of the Testimony and saw that Aaron’s staff, representing the house of Levi, had sprouted, put forth buds, blossomed, and produced almonds.
9 ULB മോശെ വടികളെല്ലാം യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽനിന്ന് എടുത്ത് യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ അടുക്കൽ പുറത്ത് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അവർ ഓരോരുത്തൻ അവരവരുടെ വടി നോക്കിയെടുത്തു. BSB BSB: Then Moses brought out all the staffs from the LORD’s presence to all the Israelites. They saw them, and each man took his own staff.
10 ULB യഹോവ മോശെയോട്: “അഹരോന്റെ വടി മത്സരികൾക്ക് ഒരു അടയാളമായി സൂക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന് സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ തിരികെ കൊണ്ടുവരിക; അവർ മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് എനിക്ക് വിരോധമായുള്ള അവരുടെ പിറുപിറുപ്പ് നീ ഇങ്ങനെ നിർത്തലാക്കും” എന്ന് കല്പിച്ചു. BSB BSB: The LORD said to Moses, “Put Aaron’s staff back in front of the Testimony, to be kept as a sign for the rebellious, so that you may put an end to their grumbling against Me, lest they die.”
11 ULB മോശെ അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ ചെയ്തു: യഹോവ തന്നോട് കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവൻ ചെയ്തു. BSB BSB: So Moses did as the LORD had commanded him.
12 ULB അപ്പോൾ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ മോശെയോട്: “ഇതാ, ഞങ്ങൾ ചത്തൊടുങ്ങുന്നു; ഞങ്ങൾ നശിക്കുന്നു; ഞങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും നശിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: Then the Israelites declared to Moses, “Look, we are perishing! We are lost; we are all lost!
13 ULB യഹോവയുടെ തിരുനിവാസത്തോട് അടുക്കുന്നവനെല്ലാം ചാകുന്നു; ഞങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും ചത്തൊടുങ്ങണമോ”എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. BSB BSB: Anyone who comes near the tabernacle of the LORD will die. Are we all going to perish?”
