6Yesu ngacheabhi pambane, ahyokike! Nkombuka moakampwaghile chikahi paakabhi ku Galilaya.He is not here; He has risen! Remember how He told you while He was still in Galilee:

7Akumpwaghi kubha, ‘Mwana waka Mundu anabhumpelaka mu mabhoku gha bhana mahoku, na kuwambakika punsalaba, nambu lichobha la katatu ayiyokaje.’ ”‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again.’”

27Akabhapwaghi mambu ghokapi ghaghumpalika jombi mu Malembu Mahuhu ghokapi, kutumbu itabu yokapi yaka Musa na kujendale mu itabhu yokapi ya bhalota bhokapi bhaka Chapanga.And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them what was written in all the Scriptures about Himself.

36Pabhakabhi bhapwaghanila ghanihagha, palapala Yesu mweni akajemiki pachilanda jabhu, na kubhapwaghila, “Lukwali lukubha na mwehapa.”While they were describing these events, Jesus Himself stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”

37Bhakakenyamwiki na kujoghopa namaa, bhakaholakya pangi bhaweni lihoka.But they were startled and frightened, thinking they had seen a spirit.

38Nambu jombi akabhapwaghile, “Bho, mbona mlagha? Bho, mbona nkubha na choghohi mu mitima jinu?“Why are you troubled,” Jesus asked, “and why do doubts arise in your hearts?

39Ndingalya mabhoku na magholu ghangu, kubha nde nepani namwete. Mbapiya mbonaje, maghambu lihoka ngachelibhi na hyegha wala ihupa ngati mommone nepane.”Look at My hands and My feet. It is I Myself. Touch Me and see—for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”

40Paakajomwi kulonge ghanighala, akabhalangi mabhoku na magholu ghaki.And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and feet.

41Bhombi pabhakabhi bhakona ngakuhobhalela, kwa ndandi ja chiheku na kukangacha, Yesu akabhalalukile, “Bho, mbi na chilebhi chokapi chela pambane?”While they were still in disbelief because of their joy and amazement, He asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”

42Bhakumpeki chipandi cha homba ja kujocha.So they gave Him a piece of broiled fish,

43Akachitoliki, akalili koni bhokapi bhakabya bhumbona.and He took it and ate it in front of them.

44Bhela akabhapwaghile, “Aghagha nde mambu ghanakumpwaghili chikahi panakabhi nakona papamu na mwehapa: Kubha ipalika ghapitalya mambu ghokapi ghaghalembakiki panani jangu mu Shelia yaka Musa, na mu Malembu gha bhalota bhaka Chapanga na mu Chitabu cha Zabuli.”Jesus said to them, “These are the words I spoke to you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms.”

48Mabhanganya nde momwapwaghila bhandu kubha mambu ghokapi ghaghapitalili hagha nde gha chakaka.You are witnesses of these things.

49Nepani namweti ananundetila jola Atati wangu joapwaghiki anaantumaje. Nambu mwenga ndendalya moni mu Yelusalemu, mbaka pamwijopalya makili ghala ghaghahuma kunani kumahunde.”And behold, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you. But remain in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”

50Bhela akabhalongwi kunja ja muchi wa Yelusalemu mbaka ku Besania, akajinwi mabhoku ghaki na kubhapengalela.When Jesus had led them out as far as Bethany, He lifted up His hands and blessed them.

52Bhombi bhakunjojabhili, na panihapa bhakakelawiki ku Yelusalemu bhakabya na chiheku nakanopi.And they worshiped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
