2 ULB तेव्हा पौल व बर्णबा ह्यांचा त्यांच्याशी बराच मतभेद व वादविवाद झाल्यावर असे ठरविण्यात आले की, पौल व बर्णबा ह्यांनी व त्यांच्यापैकी इतर लोकांनी या वादाविषयी यरुशलेम शहरामधील प्रेषित व वडील ह्यांच्याकडे जावे. BSB BSB: And after engaging these men in sharp debate, Paul and Barnabas were appointed, along with some other believers, to go up to Jerusalem to see the apostles and elders about this question.
3 ULB मग मंडळीने त्यांना पाठवल्यावर ते फेनीके व शोमरोन या शहरामधून गेले आणि परराष्ट्रीय देवाकडे वळल्याचे सविस्तर वर्तमान सांगून त्यांनी सर्व बंधुजनांना फार आनंदित केले. BSB BSB: Sent on their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, recounting the conversion of the Gentiles and bringing great joy to all the brothers.
4 ULB नंतर ते यरुशलेम शहरास आल्यावर तेथील मंडळी, प्रेषित व वडील ह्यांनी त्यांचे आगतस्वागत केले, तेव्हा आपण देवाच्या सहवासांत असतांना त्याने जे जे केले ते त्यांनी सांगितले. BSB BSB: On their arrival in Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and apostles and elders, to whom they reported all that God had done through them.
5 ULB तरीही परूशी पंथातील कित्येक विश्वास ठेवणारे असे म्हणाले, त्यांची सुंता झालीच पाहिजे व मोशेचे नियमशास्त्र पाळावयाची त्यांना आज्ञा केलीच पाहीजे. BSB BSB: But some believers from the party of the Pharisees stood up and declared, “The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to obey the law of Moses.”
6 ULB मग प्रेषित व वडीलवर्ग या प्रकरणाचा विचार करावयास जमले. BSB BSB: So the apostles and elders met to look into this matter.
7 ULB तेव्हा पुष्कळ वादविवाद झाल्यावर पेत्र उभा राहून त्यांना म्हणाला बंधुजनहो, तुम्हास ठाऊक आहे की, माझ्या तोडून सुवार्ता ऐकून परराष्ट्रीयांनी विश्वास ठेवावा म्हणून आरंभीचा दिवसांपासून तुम्हामध्ये देवाने माझी निवड केली. BSB BSB: After much discussion, Peter got up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you that the Gentiles would hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe.
8 ULB आणि हृदये जाणणाऱ्या देवाने जसा आपणास तसा त्यांनाही पवित्र आत्मा देऊन त्यांच्याविषयी साक्ष दिली. BSB BSB: And God, who knows the heart, showed His approval by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as He did to us.
9 ULB त्याने त्यांची अंतःकरणे विश्वासाने शुद्ध करून त्यांच्यामध्ये व आपल्यामध्ये काही भेद ठेवला नाही. BSB BSB: He made no distinction between us and them, for He cleansed their hearts by faith.
10 ULB असे असतांना जे जोखड आपले पूर्वज व आपण वाहावयास समर्थ नव्हतो ते शिष्यांच्या मानेवर घालू तुम्ही देवाची परीक्षा का पाहता? BSB BSB: Now then, why do you test God by placing on the necks of the disciples a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear?
11 ULB तर मग त्यांच्याप्रमाणेच आपले तारण प्रभू येशूच्या कृपेने होईल असा आपला विश्वास आहे. BSB BSB: On the contrary, we believe it is through the grace of the Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”
12 ULB तेव्हा सर्व लोक गप्प राहीले आणि बर्णबा व पौल ह्यांनी आपल्या द्वारे देवाने परराष्ट्रीयामध्ये जी चिन्हे व अद्भूते केली त्यांचे केलेले वर्णन त्यांनी ऐकून घेतले. BSB BSB: The whole assembly fell silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul describing the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them.

22 ULB तेव्हा पौल व बर्णबा ह्यांच्याबरोबर आपणातून निवडलेली माणसे म्हणजे बंधुजनांतील प्रमुख बर्शब्बा म्हटलेला यहूदा व सीला ह्यांना अंत्युखियास पाठवले तर बरे होईल असे सर्व मंडळीसह प्रेषित आणि वडील ह्यांना वाटले. BSB BSB: Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided to select men from among them to send to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose Judas called Barsabbas and Silas, two leaders among the brothers,
23 ULB त्यांच्या हाती त्यांनी असे लिहून पाठवलेः “अंत्युखिया, सिरीया व किलकिया येथील परराष्ट्रीयांतले बंधुजन ह्यांना प्रेषित व वडीलवर्ग या बंधुजनांचा सलाम. BSB BSB: and sent them with this letter: The apostles and the elders, your brothers, To the brothers among the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: Greetings.
24 ULB आमच्यापैकी काहींना जाऊन आपल्या बोलण्याने तुमचे जीव घोटाळ्यात पाडून त्रास दिला असे आमच्या कानी आले आहे; पण त्यांना आम्ही तसे करावयाला सांगितले नव्हते. BSB BSB: It has come to our attention that some went out from us without our authorization and unsettled you, troubling your minds by what they said.
25 ULB म्हणून आमचे एकमत झाल्यावर आम्हास हे योग्य वाटले की, BSB BSB: So we all agreed to choose men to send to you along with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

27 ULB ह्याकरिता यहूदा व सीला ह्यांना आम्ही पाठवले आहे ते स्वतः या गोष्टी तुम्हास तोंडी सांगतील. BSB BSB: Therefore we are sending Judas and Silas to tell you in person the same things we are writing.
29 ULB त्या म्हणजे मूर्तीला अर्पीलेले पदार्थ, रक्त, गळा दाबुन मारलेले प्राणी व जारकर्म ही तुम्ही वर्ज्य करावी; ह्यापासून स्वतःला जपाल तर तुमचे हित होईल, क्षेमकुशल असो.” BSB BSB: You must abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals, and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things. Farewell.
30 ULB त्यांना पाठवून दिल्यावर ते अंत्युखियास गेले आणि त्यांनी सर्व मंडळीला जमवून ते पत्र सादर केले. BSB BSB: So the men were sent off and went down to Antioch, where they assembled the congregation and delivered the letter.
31 ULB त्यातला बोध वाचून त्यांना आनंद झाला. BSB BSB: When the people read it, they rejoiced at its encouraging message.
32 ULB यहूदा व सीला हे स्वतः संदेष्टे होते, म्हणून त्यांनी पुष्कळ बोलून बंधुजनांना बोध केला व स्थिरावले. BSB BSB: Judas and Silas, who themselves were prophets, said much to encourage and strengthen the brothers.
33 ULB तेथे ते काही दिवस राहील्यावर ज्यांनी त्यांना पाठवले होते त्यांच्याकडे जाण्यास बंधुजनांनी त्यांना शांतीने पाठवून दिले. BSB BSB: After spending some time there, they were sent off by the brothers in peace to return to those who had sent them.

35 ULB आणि पौल व बर्णबा इतर पुष्कळ जणांबरोबर प्रभूचे वचन शिकवीत व सुवार्तेची घोषणा करीत अंत्युखियास राहीले. BSB BSB: But Paul and Barnabas remained at Antioch, along with many others, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord.
36 ULB मग काही दिवसानंतर पौलाने बर्णबाला म्हणले “ज्या ज्या नगरात आपण प्रभूच्या वचनांची घोषणा केली तेथे पुन्हा जाऊन बंधुजनांना भेटून ते कसे आहेत हे पाहू या.” BSB BSB: Some time later Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us go back and visit the brothers in every town where we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.”
37 ULB बर्णबाची इच्छा होती की, ज्याला मार्क म्हणत त्या योहानाला बरोबर घ्यावे. BSB BSB: Barnabas wanted to take John, also called Mark.

39 ULB ह्यावरून त्यांच्यामध्ये तीव्र मतभेद उपस्थित होऊन ते एकमेकांपासून वेगळे झाले आणि बर्णबा मार्काला घेऊन तारवात बसून कुप्रास गेला; BSB BSB: Their disagreement was so sharp that they parted company. Barnabas took Mark and sailed for Cyprus,
40 ULB पौलाने सीलाला निवडून घेतले आणि बंधुजनांनी त्यास प्रभूच्या कृपेवर सोपविल्यावर तो तेथून निघाला. BSB BSB: but Paul chose Silas and left, commended by the brothers to the grace of the Lord.
41 ULB आणि मंडळयाना स्थैर्य देत सिरीया व किलिकिया ह्यामधुन गेला. BSB BSB: And he traveled through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.
