1 ULB नंतर ते अंफिपुली व अपुल्लोनिया या शहरांच्यामधून जाऊन थेस्सलनीकास शहरास गेले, तेथे यहूद्यांचे सभास्थान होते. BSB BSB: When they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a Jewish synagogue.
2 ULB तेथे पौलाने आपल्या परिपाठाप्रमाणे त्याच्याकडे जाऊन तीन शब्बाथ त्यांच्याबरोबर शास्त्रलेखावरून वादविवाद केला. BSB BSB: As was his custom, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbaths he reasoned with them from the Scriptures,

13 ULB तरीही पौल देवाचे वचन बिरुयातही सांगत आहे हे थेस्सलनीकांतल्या यहूद्यांना समजले तेव्हा त्यांनी तिकडेही जाऊन लोकांस खवळून चेतविले. BSB BSB: But when the Jews from Thessalonica learned that Paul was also proclaiming the word of God in Berea, they went there themselves to incite and agitate the crowds.

BSB BSB: So they took Paul and brought him to the Areopagus, where they asked him, “May we know what this new teaching is that you are presenting?

Therefore what you worship as something unknown, I now proclaim to you.

BSB BSB: Therefore, being offspring of God, we should not think that the Divine Being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by man’s skill and imagination.
30 ULB अज्ञानाच्या काळांकडे देवाने डोळेझाक केली, परंतु आता सर्वांनी सर्वत्र पश्चात्ताप करावा अशी तो मनुष्यांना आज्ञा करतो. BSB BSB: Although God overlooked the ignorance of earlier times, He now commands all people everywhere to repent.

34 ULB तरी काही मनुष्यांनी त्यास चिटकून राहून विश्वास ठेवला; त्यामध्ये दिओनुस्य अरिय-पगकर, दामारी नावांची कोणी स्त्री व त्यांच्याबरोबर इतर कित्येक होते. BSB BSB: But some joined him and believed, including Dionysius the Areopagite, a woman named Damaris, and others who were with them.
