5 ULB राजाच्या शुभ दिवशी अधिकारी मद्य पिऊन मस्त झाले; मग त्याने आपला हात थट्टा करणाऱ्यांच्या हाती दिला. BSB BSB: The princes are inflamed with wine on the day of our king; so he joins hands with those who mock him.
6 ULB भट्टीसारख्या हृदयाने ते कपटी आणि फसव्या योजना करतात. त्यांचा राग रात्रभर अग्नीसारखा धुमसतो, आणि सकाळी धगधगणाऱ्या आग्नीसारखा जळतो. BSB BSB: For they prepare their heart like an oven while they lie in wait; all night their anger smolders; in the morning it blazes like a flaming fire.

9 ULB परक्यांनी त्याची ताकद गिळली आहे; पण त्यास हे ठाऊक नाही. त्याचे काही केस पांढरे झाले आहेत, पण ते त्यास माहित नाही. BSB BSB: Foreigners consume his strength, but he does not notice. Even his hair is streaked with gray, but he does not know.

11 ULB एफ्राईम कबुतरा सारखा भोळा व भावनाहीन आहे, तो मिसराला हाक मारतो, नंतर अश्शूरास उडून जातो. BSB BSB: So Ephraim has become like a silly, senseless dove—calling out to Egypt, then turning to Assyria.

BSB BSB: Woe to them, for they have strayed from Me! Destruction to them, for they have rebelled against Me! Though I would redeem them, they speak lies against Me.
14 ULB त्यांनी त्यांच्या हृदयापासून माझा धावा केला नाही, परंतू ते पलंगावर पडून धान्य व नव्या द्राक्षरसासाठी विलाप करतात, ते माझ्यापासून बहकले आहेत. BSB BSB: They do not cry out to Me from their hearts when they wail upon their beds. They slash themselves for grain and new wine, but turn away from Me.
15 ULB जरी मी त्यास शिक्षण दिले आणि त्यांना बाहुबल दिले, आता ते माझ्या विरोधात कट रचतात. BSB BSB: Although I trained and strengthened their arms, they plot evil against Me.
16 ULB ते परत फिरतात, पण ते मी जो सर्वोच्च देव आहे, त्याकडे फिरत नाही, ते फसव्या धनुष्यासारखे झाले आहेत, त्यांचे अधिकारी आपल्या जिभेच्या उन्मतपणामुळे तलवारीने पाडले जातील, मिसरात त्यांची थट्टा करण्यात येईल. BSB BSB: They turn, but not to the Most High; they are like a faulty bow. Their leaders will fall by the sword for the cursing of their tongue; for this they will be ridiculed in the land of Egypt.
